Secondly, I think that if this airline became the best airline in 2017, staff should care about their passengers’ stuff more than they do, so backpacks or suitcases don't lose parts or get crushed during flights. When I got my backpack back, I thought that someone had used it to play football. My backpack had lost some parts, and some pieces of it were torn!"

These things happen, I understand, but most upsetting was the fact that Qatar Airways provided very little information to those of us missing our flights. While on the plane, when those of us with short layovers mentioned that we may be late, we were told "you'll be fine - they hold the planes for a bit." When we deboarded the plane from New York, we ere wrangled into groups depending on our destinations. Many of us assumed that we were going to be taken to our next flights as we had been told they would be waiting for us. The airline rep in charge of my group refused to tell us any information, however, only admitting after we got confrontational with her that we had missed our flights. She then offered no information about what would happen to us, telling us we'd find out when we got to the rebooking counter. Very unprofessional. I was told that I would have to wait for another 24 hours for the next flight, necessitating that I would spend the night in Qatar. I was put up in a hotel that was decent, but again that offered very little in terms of customer service. We were given an $80 meal allowance, but despite me not using it, I was nickeled and dimed in other aspects to where I ended up paying $20 to help reschedule a flight that I had missed in my destination country. The whole ordeal was a nightmare and mostly due to poor communication and very cold, almost robotic interactions with the QA staff on the ground in Doha."

This was extremely disappointing as we then lost a full 8 hours of our first day arrival. If they schedule you for a 45 minute connecting flight, I suggest you book a later one. Our flight from NYC left on time but was 20 min late landing. Their only compensation to us all was use of the airport lounge in Doha ( quite nice with free food wine and showers, but would rather have had the extra day in Bali."

According to IATA and international rules I am now due a full refund on my flight cost and will start proceedings against Turkish Airlines for this money. It was a nightmare for all the hours waiting. We also had to deplane in IST from the JFK flight on steps rather than into a gate!! Same with the TLV/IST flight. Terrible."

They ran out of food, and I had no choice but to eat the pasta option even though I do not eat pasta in my normal life. My knees hurt from not having space to stretch out for such a long flight. It was freezing cold and they did not have extra blankets. It felt like my section kept getting skipped over for everything (food, liquids, general checking in to make sure people were okay). We boarded late, and left late. When I arrived the luggage took VERY long - almost an hour - to come out."

The supervisor assured us that we have nothing to worry about, as the second plane would wait as we are many passengers.however when we landed in turkey the connection flight had already left without us. When trying to speak to turkish airline representatives about getting a new flight, they were super UNhelpful, we waited in very long lines and were required so go to a few different parts of the airport to get a new ticket, a process that was not friendly at all and very frustrating. After about 2 hours of waiting on lines, i got a flight that required me to wait 7 hours in the airport and measley voucher for a very small fast food meal. When i asked to be admitted to the lounge (as i waited 7 hours in the airport due to the airlines mistake), they did not agree to grant me access. When i asked to at least get the wifi code from the lounge so i can tell my familly that i am stuck on turkey, this was also rejected. While waiting in the airport, i spoke to many other people on other flights who had been stuck in the airport under very simillar circumstances, some even worse than mine. I also have many friends who have experiences simillar experiences with turkish airlines. If you are looking for a reliable flight, that will get you to your destination on time and will help you out when a problem occurs, Turkish airlines is deffinetelly NOT the flight for you. I personally will never fly with them again after the way i was treated."

I'm a very medium sized build and really short (5' 6") and I was so uncomfortable I wanted to (and probably will) cancel my return flight with them. My wife's back is still hurting from that flight. The staff are just plain awful save for 2 flight attendants. Out of 2 flights so far. I was told afterwards that this is commonplace when flying Turkish Airlines. For fairness sake I should mention that both Egypt Air and Saudi Airlines were worse. Whatever money you think you're saving by flying this atrocity you're gonna be spending on fixing your neck and back. Spend the extra and go with Swiss or even Delta. Avoid this rubbish"

They started the flight off with warm towels, then Turkish delight, before having dinner, a middle set of drinks, and then breakfast. I felt like I was almost in business. Plus the crew were very friendly and accommodating. The boarding was smooth though a bit delayed but that was probably more dependent on the airport than the airline."

Плюси: "I had a good experience purchasing my El Al ticket through Kayak. I was able to select my seat--exit row seats at no extra cost! (although the ticket was admittedly expensive). El Al itself was fine. Service was fine. Food was fine for airplane food. (The bread was actually good, much better than the food on America airlines in general). El Al is known for their tight security and we certainly experienced that. However, I found myself NOT annoyed by it. Because I and my traveling partner were not Jewish or Israeli, we were singled out and interrogated with extra questions. This doesn't sound good but it meant we didn't have to wait in the regular line and kind of got the VIP treatment. We were treated very nicely. Someone went out of their way to get us a seat while we waited for them to inspect the dust particle samples on our wallet and shoes. TSA makes my blood boil but the security through El Al was somehow a pleasant experience. Overall, I was satisfied."

Мінуси: "other than the pilot doing his job, the experience of flying on this flight (operated by Arkia) wasn't up to any basic standards. this began when the boarding started - we were escorted to our busses which was to take us to the plane itself. however there was no bus. apparently the bus was right around the corner but its perfectly aligned stop near the doors was hindered by a truck that took about a third of the spot. so for some reason instead of simply allowing passengers to walk 3 meters, we had to stand in a small inclosed area for about 15 min with no seats for the older people. once we actually boarded it was chaos. people stuffed their luggage in the overheads in such a way that they didn't close, couldn't find their seats and we're stuck in the isle waiting for others to find a place for their luggage. this happens, sure, but there was no staff in sight to assist and instead they were on the microphone telling people to clear the isle and sit down, like we're on a bus... why not have people board the plane in groups and areas? the bus did two rounds of bringing people to the plane anyway, why not do this smartly and devide passengers into boarding groups, for our and the staffs ease? Finally everyone were in their seats and the plane took off. this is a very short flight of 45 min. and I understand it's a low cost company but during almost half of the flight you just hear the staff on the speakers reading out commercials, offering to buy cigarettes and whatever, telling how they have the best prices(!). finally we land, and instead of requesting everybody remain in their seats until the doors open, like the staff does on every single flight I've ever been on in my life, the guy on the mic says some stupid joke. TLDR : the whole flight felt like it was operated and staffed by teenagers, and not the responsible and bright kind. I am very happy we arrived safe because the staff made me doubt the pilots abilities as well. nothing to say about the passengers, they're israeli so anyone who has flown with them know what it feels like. just put your headphones in, it'll be over soon."

Ancient 767 with no seat-based, on-demand movies (they played on ceiling-mounted screens). No Wifi. Customer service on phone had huge hold times. Personnel were not available between flights. Will not fly again."

Once at the areport in chengdu ( after a flight from Tel Aviv to Beijing and Beijing to chengdu) I was told that my flight to Sydney was leaving on 11 January. I had to stay in chengdu for an extra 26 hours and not 2 hours 40 as it was clearly mentioned on the ticket I have purchased. I feel I was cheated and I am not satisfied"

Мінуси: "Elal changed the airplane to a tiny plane run by some charter company. The seats were tiny. No legs pace and the next passenger had half his body on me. El-Al is complete disgrace and I hope never to fly with them again, which is a shame, since I am from Israel. In any case, I paid full price, and received something worse than I would expect from any low-cost company. El-Al should be ashamed."
Мінуси: "We got to Barcelona about an hour before the flight to Charlotte. There were 50 of us. They put us on a bus took us to the plane had us wait on the bus for an hour. Told us we couldn't get on the plane and we needed to get new tickets. It took 4 hours to get our backs and new tickets and the customer service was terrible they didn't want to help us."

Мінуси: "airBaltic has a terrible luggage policy for musicians. They make you pay extra if you want to bring a musical instrument on board, even a violin which fits easily into the overhead bin. It is honestly discriminatory. Will not be flying with them again."

BT444, 18:30-19:50... he just stood there watching me struggle up the outside staircase into the plane with my suitcase... scolded me for bringing suitcase on board, argued with me, etc. (I've traveled the world and this suitcase is always brought on board)... he was not service-oriented or helpful. thankfully, other staff did help... but he left a bad taste in my mouth for this airline."

You have to pay now and you can take it up with the airline later." This will be a pain in the neck."

Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."

Мінуси: "bag measure frames in Riga airport used for aB are smaller than in most airports, as a results we were asked to check some bags in at the last moment. we have had connecting flight through Riga with two hand bags. lets call them big and small. judge by yourself: flight, aircraft, small, big ->Riga CS3, on board, on board Riga-> DHC 8-400, on board, check in ->Riga DHC 8-400, on board, on board Riga-> CS3, check in, check in as you see, the same bags on the same aircraft were allowed or disallowed by the same company based on weather one flies to Riga or from it. i believe there is absolutely no purpose for doing last second interruptions of such kind"

Мінуси: "the customer service rep stopped only me, the only black man travelling from riga to russia and was scrutinizing my passport for some long agonizing minutes. My russian visa is in the passport and updated and quite visible to see on the third page of my passport and being from Grenada I am able to travel to latvia visa free for up to 90 days. I stood there whilst others walked past me and went to the aircraft. that sucked. may 09 2017 at around 9 am."

Мінуси: "After barely making too tight a connection, all food and beverage needed Euros or European credit card. My Visa wouldn't work. Finally after I broke down (blood sugar way too high) the stewardess gave me a glass of water. Never will I use the money grubbing airline again"
