Мінуси: "Upon arriving to Frankfurt airport (gate Z) from Boston, i had an hour to make it to gate A including passport control. Once I got to to gates A50-69 I was told that i had to turn back and go through a different passport control as the one close to gates A50-69 was too busy/full. So I turned back although i had no specific gate number where the passport control was. Once I got there, after 10 mins walking (around gate Z20) around and asking lufthansa staff I came across a rather long queue. At that point I only had 30 mins until my flight to Budapest was boarding. I knew I would not get through that queue on time and there was no assistance. So I decided to turn nack and go back to gates A50-69 assport cobtrol where luckily there was no queue at all. I do not understand why i was turned away by staff the very first time I got to that passport control and why there was no assistance by airport staff. Not happy at all about that."

The first confirmed Lufthansa flights No: LH 1305/ LH 488 ISTANBUL to SAN JOSE via FRANKFURT were cancelled. Then my family in USA contacted the airline and agreed about FLIGHT TK 005 / UA 1883: IST-ORD-SJC. At the checking counter in Atatürk Airport I got the last shock of being Lufthansa didn’t issue a ticket for the flight and the time was running fast and l had no contact neither with my family nor anybody else at the airport therefore i had to purchase a ticket to SFO via Frankfurt. In another word it was very bad experience."

Мінуси: "The airplane left Barcelona late and arrived in Frankfurt late. Lufthansa only allowed a 45 minute layover in Frankfurt to catch our connecting flight to Seattle. Because we arrived late - we only had 20 minutes to catch our connecting flight to Seattle. What made this an awful experience is that the flight from Barcelona landed at Gate A - our connecting flight was at Gate Z. This was as about as far away from each gate as you could get. This was over a mile to run in order to catch our connecting flight - I hurt my hamstring during the run. The Lufthansa "assisting agent" in the Frankfurt terminal was less than helpful and laughed when we told her where our connecting gate was. Not only did she laugh but she did not offer any assistance to get us to the gate on time. Prior to our trip - I called Lufthansa and voiced my concern that a 45 minute layover for an international flight was not a lot of time for us to make a connecting flight. The agent I spoke with said that legally - 45 minutes was a standard lay over for Lufthansa and she did not offer me any alternatives. This was not a pleasant experience with Lufthansa and I doubt we will fly with you again."

Even then she was not satisfied, she abused me the whole flight damaged the screen so I could not use it until the steward fixed it. Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Many of us had a connecting flight with Air Baltic from Riga to Helsinki- which we asked if they will wait for us, the crew member said because the flight was also with Air Baltic, they will wait for us. We got there 10 minutes before take off, and the gate has already closed. Furthermore, we got to the Air Baltic counter, we were given 5Euro meal vouchers even though we will be staying at the Riga airport for 9 hours. Also they gave us terrible customer service attitude, which we definitely do not deserve after being delayed, and causing so much trouble on their behalf. Definitely do not recommend flying with Air Baltic again. I've never been this angry with any air line."

We were told we could check in online but we only had 4 minute in which to do it. We were charged €150 for 5 people. The check in Sgent was sour faced as well. Once aboard the plane (a nice new aircraft) we found the stewardesses sour faced as well. Overall not impressed by air Baltic!"
Мінуси: "on the website i ordered and payed for a meal, and automatically it went to the last and the shortest leg of the flight. it did not ask which leg i was interested in. so i phoned their customer service to get this fixed, they said they cannot fix it and closed the phone on me. on the website is said that from israel you cannot do advance internet checkin, and when i arrived at the checkin they said that i should have done this advanced check in, and since i didn't i need to go to their ticket office and pay a penalty of 35$ per passenger. there also was no warning on the website of any such penalty. i will never fly with them again if i can help it."
Мінуси: "bag measure frames in Riga airport used for aB are smaller than in most airports, as a results we were asked to check some bags in at the last moment. we have had connecting flight through Riga with two hand bags. lets call them big and small. judge by yourself: flight, aircraft, small, big ->Riga CS3, on board, on board Riga-> DHC 8-400, on board, check in ->Riga DHC 8-400, on board, on board Riga-> CS3, check in, check in as you see, the same bags on the same aircraft were allowed or disallowed by the same company based on weather one flies to Riga or from it. i believe there is absolutely no purpose for doing last second interruptions of such kind"

They don't even serve a glass of water, apparently they could not manage to integrate it in the ticket price. But they dare to get thirsty and unhappy customers on the plane. Anyways: This airline company is charging extra for luggage. And I could not see this anywhere when I was buying ticket online. If I knew I'd never buy the ticket from Airbaltic. "Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"

AirBaltic refused to compensate for my looses due to thair fault, castomer service is very poor, they took refusal position right away. Air Baltic planes are very old and no air conditioning, avoid air Baltic."

I always travel through Europe with layovers and never have this issue before. I had to buy another ticket straight to Moscow and wait in the airport for 8 hours. I ask to reimburse me half of the price of this ticket."

My russian visa is in the passport and updated and quite visible to see on the third page of my passport and being from Grenada I am able to travel to latvia visa free for up to 90 days. I stood there whilst others walked past me and went to the aircraft. that sucked. may 09 2017 at around 9 am."
Мінуси: "For people who have Airbaltic as a connecting flight this might be very inconvenient. We paid 40 Eur/person each way for our luggage . That brings the price that you pay so much higher than you expect at first. Also if you don't print boarding pass ahead of time which we didn't (plus still needed to drop off checked luggage and check our passports) they want to charge you 30 Eur a person to print that drinking piece of paper. If you don't want to pay that get out of the line with all of you luggage, go to kiosk and print it, then come back to the line. But that's companies rules , employees just have to follow it. Another problem was their attitude. The guy who got our luggage was so weird. Showing off and talking to us like a boss. After giving us boarding passes he said we can go to the screen and look up the gate ourselves. I never write long reviews but man! they got me mad that day. Never say never - but I don't want to fly with this airline again"

Thus had to kneel in order to use. This booked by UIA, but the carrier was Air Baltic, which led to some confusion as to which airline to go to for boarding."
Плюси: "Things moved along fairly well, especially once I was in Riga. The hour layover stressed me out because I wasn't sure if I'd make it to my connection in time, but the airport was not crowded so I managed to get through passport control fairly quickly and made my flight."

Also had to pay to check my bag on a half full flight. Have never had to check same bag with Ryanair on over 10 flights now. Will never use this airline again."

I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."

We were on vacation so couldn't print our boarding passes at home and the online check-in was not working on our mobile phones so we sat in line with our luggage to where we thought we would be able to print our boarding passes and check our luggage / pay for any weight overage (just like LAX or any other airport). The woman at the counter rudely told us she couldn't help us and to get in a completely different line to A) pay for our luggage, but B) charge us $15 each to just to PRINT our boarding passes. To top that off she measured our luggage at X weight and told us to go pay for that and when we returned (20 min later) she not only had weighed our luggage wrong, she insisted we get back in that same line and pay for the overage that SHE complete weighed incorrectly. On top of that, we weren't able to print our boarding passes at the counter she suggested and she became increasingly more stubborn. Finally, after repeated attempts to have this woman help us, she relented and printed our boarding passes out and sent our luggage through. We made our flight (even after she told us the wrong gate too) but barely and not without sprinting through the airport to make up for lost time she had cost us by not doing what she could have done right from the start. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN WILL WE BE FLYING WITH THEM. Low fairs = even lower experience. Grade: F"

On arrival at Stansted airport, we were effectively fined £45 each person for not having printed out paper passes. In fact this procedure at the airport took the individual less than two minutes and two sheets of paper to accomplish. A total money making RIPOFF!!!"
