I had paid for the suitcases, but because I was traveling alone I went there with my husband and he politely asked if they could please take the carryons on the plane because she can’t carry everything by herself. The manager came out and said that we have to pay. I said I already paid extra for my suitcases please help us because my wife is carrying our son, the diaper bag and 2 carryons. He was rude stating that we have to pay each carryon. We didn’t have the extra money and my wife took everything with her. If that’s how Turkish Airline treats their customers, they shouldn’t be operating. It was the last time I use this airline. No dignity or humanity, it’s all only about the money. And when I took the stroller with my son. They made me package the stroller by myself looking that I had my son on me crying and when I asked for help they said that they can’t help me... unbelievable... they see me with 2 carryons a stroller and a baby and they can’t help me."

They also check the hand luggage to make sure it fits in the "template" and weigh it (a second time) at the gate. Once on-board, they then announced that they were waiting for other connecting passengers. Took about 45 minutes. It would be nice to know that before booking that they do this, and also before boarding, even if it makes more sense to start boarding before they arrive (but 45 minutes before?). The live map on the public screens in economy showed a dummy/overview map with "waiting for data" the entire flight, rather than the actual live map. Premium did have the data on their screens, and the individual screens also worked fine. Not sure what happened there..."

They charged me twice for the same exact tickets and then would not refund me the entire fare. The deducted $300 to process back the credit. Personnel, at both the airport and in flight, were curt, uncommodating and lacked customer service. On my return flight from Warsaw there was a large, disruptive group with a number of unruly children & airline staff did nothing to address the children running across seats, screaming and wreaking havoc for over 8 hours. Passengers could not sleep & the noise was unbearable."

Мінуси: "Because of loosing our connecting flight in Warsaw (due to weather...I think, it was never explain to us why our first flight had a 3 hour delay), the boarding staff was very helpful finding us a different route. Well the flight from Warsaw to Berlin, operated by LOT was horrible! No snacks no drinks, not even water on a 2hour flight! Shame on you! I had my wedding gown with me and I asked one of the crew members to put it in one of the closets design for this. And in a broken English she told me 'ya there is a problem' and she showed me the closet, it was full with the crew luggage :( We ended up laying the gown on one seat that was empty! When we arrived at our destination and picked up our luggage we noticed that they broke one of the wheels. Overall very ugly experience with LOT!!!"

When we searched for it and couldn't find it, we asked two different employees and they didn't know or offer to help. We finally found it but it wasn't a good experience. And finding out at boarding time was not helpful."

Мінуси: "Chaotic flight that was delayed due to overbooking and the failure to deal with it in any competent way. An apparently overbooked flight led to a cascade of errors - there seemed to be a total breakdown in communication between the gate/services team and the ground crew, etc. as to where the extra passengers came from and what could be done with them. They even admitted to their being many misunderstandings among the LOT staff themselves as they struggled to rectify the situation. The worst outcome was that we got trapped in the bus, right outside the plane, for 30 minutes. They had sent us to board while back at the gate they were still arguing over who should actually be on the plane. During this time there was no sign of the cabin crew at all. After 10 minutes or so the driver left to go and have a chat with some of the ground ops team and we were left on our own as the windows steamed up and small children started to cry. The whole thing was an appalling exercise in miscommunication - both between staff themselves and between staff and passengers."

Then i proceeded to go to baggage claim where my bag never showed up and when I finally saw that it wasn't showing up I sprinted to my next flight and got to the door 15 seconds after it closed. Then i had to spend the night in NYC and was unable to go to buffalo unitl the morning after having spent already the whole day in the airport since my first flight didn't take off until about 5 hours after it was scheduled. And now I still do not have my bag, and jet blue says they never got it from LOT airlines"

Мінуси: "Airplane seemed outdated, with no individual televisions, and some strange movie selections, which I could not see over the seat/hair in front of me. The flight was very long, so individual entertainment would have made the time pass a little more quickly. The main meal entree was okay, but the bun and brownie was stale. The snack was inedible, despite being quite hungry (stale bun with very little chicken, no seasoning or lettuce or mayo, very dry). Did not see the crew very much after the initial meal was served, but that was okay as I did not require assistance."

Мінуси: "Everything. This plane was most likely the same plane the Wright brothers flew upon their first flight. I am 5'4" and 104 pounds and I had a hard time fitting in the seats. Most domestic flight planes that I've flown are MUCH better than this; no TV, no legroom, and you had to buy drinks. The food looked like diarrhea and my grapes had mold on them. Also, the flight attendants were so rude to guests. I will NEVER fly this airline again."

There are vendors at the airport who "wrap" bags in plastic, and now I understand why! Also there are no escalators or lifts at the Odesa airport, so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs, onto buses, up more stairs, etc."

They provided 2 meals on out 9+ hour flight that were unexpected as everything I read indicated that there would be no on flight meals provided, so that was nice. There was always one little thing in the meal that was a bit weird, but overall the meals were rather good. And once they put on the movies, they kept them coming, which really helped the time pass on such a long flight."

They didn't appear to enjoy their job at all and rearly smiled, which I found odd as I took a total of 4 flights and only the male attendants on one flight smiled.... but after seeing the typical cliental they have to deal with I guess I can understand their dislike! (If I had to deal with people allowing their children to run around like animals for 10 hours with not a word against their actions I might be a bit pissed as well!) And with all airline, they shrink the seats to cram as many people on the plane as possible, so the seats were not altogether that comfortable, but again, that's all airlines. Other wise the only technical issue that I wish should have been disclosed is in Venice there is no Counter for Ukraine Air, they use another airline as their counter support so it was a bit confusing and frustrating when they where unable to print both tickets! Had to get in separate line in Kiev to get second boarding pass."

How on earth are you supposed to make close connecting flights with those conditions? We barely made it only because they let us skip the line for security. Save yourself the misery; dig deeper in your pocket for a better airline."
