I really don’t understand why someone made us to wait outside while it’s freezing cold when the doors are not open or plane is not ready. That was unreasonable and ruined my trip."

The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline."

Мінуси: "We were charged almost 200 euros extra because we did not check in online (which we could not do because we had been traveling for 30 hours and did not have Wi-Fi in the air) and when we went to check in the receptionist was rude about the fact that we had not checked in, so we had to go across to a different counter to pay our fee, go back to check in at the first counter, and then was told we could not be seated together, when it turned out the flight was half empty. Besides all of this, the planes are not nice, you are only allowed one carry on (no personal item) and the seats are not comfortable. I thought we would save money but check in fees and ridiculous baggage fees made this flight cost more than a nicer airline."

On the flight to East Midlands when everyone was on board we were then told due to an air traffic restriction we had to wait another 45 minutes before we could take off. On the return flight after queueing for half an hour only after I asked why we had waited so long were we told that the plane HADN't EVEN LANDED YET. So both flights were delayed with no explanation from anyone. Also all announcements on both flights were very difficult to hear above the engine noise. I am afraid that this experience has made me realise that I will NEVERTHELESS fly with Ryanair again. I would rather pay the extra and fly with a better airline."

As I found out later, Ryanair did send me an email saying that I would need to print out my boarding pass early. However, I had already left the U.S. and never saw that email. Then when I arrived at the airport, I was told that I would have to go to customer service in order to obtain a boarding pass. Then the line was so long that I could never obtain a boarding pass in time. No one was willing to help me even though there were plenty of employees standing around doing nothing. So I ended up buying three Ryanair tickets that were worthless. I will never fly Ryanair again and I would recommend that no Americans ever fly on that airline."

I saw the gate check in employee being short to guests as well. the company culture feels negative in my one experience. To compare with another regional carrier who seemed to have it together, Olympus, the Ryanair staff didn't appear to like their jobs. Also, Ryanair charges for seat assignments even when you don't have a preference. And the checked luggage size restriction is the smallest I've ever seen. I pack light but the bag I would have needed to have a free checked bag is tiny. Again, my money will go to Olypus Air the next time I'm in this region."

I held off checking in because I wasn't sure if my bag would fit in the overhead bins as I didn't have a tape measure. So I figured, like with every other airline, my wife and I would check in at the desk and pay for the extra checked bag if necessary. Well we ended up having to pay €50 EACH to the airport administrator to get a boarding pass. I went through all the documents I received from the airline, and nothing states that we had to check-in before we arrived. They said they sent me a text message to my hotel, which was the contact number I had put when we bought the ticket. That didn't do anything to help. We will be fighting this with the airlines, discussing our bad experience, and never flying with them again."

I weigh 20kg less than average 6ft, 45 yr old."

No one likes to check bags because they don't trust the airline so this means the overhead compartments are packed so full people are stuffing bags under seats. In general, I try avoid this airline when I can but alas it's hard as I come to Ukraine often. I always have such trouble checking in online that I end up in a middle seat so all around I am always sort of dreading my connection on this airline."
