I requested the crew for a window seat if possible since I had been feelin nauseated, it did not help that the guy sitting next to me had a really bad breat and smelled bad. They offered me a sit in the middle of the plane, that did not work well because I was feeling sick, being in between a big guy and a bigger lady was not going to help at all. There was an older crew member and she seemed to be kinda discussed with the trash even though she was using gloves. Food was ok but not the best. To top it off I told them that the headphones connection wasn’t working and they only brought me a pair of new headphones. I tried mine and they didn’t worked, so the whole 8 hrs of flight I was watching movies with sound only from on side. They didn’t even bother, I guess cuz I am economy? Not sure I did see some free chairs in the lanes between economy and first class but they didn’t even suggested that so I decided to suck it up and sit on my assigned chair. The bathrooms where dirty and smelled reaaally bad from the beginning that really was disgusting to be honest. I can let go many things but not that. I had to help the passenger sitting next to me cuz he didn’t know how to do anything and didn’t speak English, he was an older man, with signs I was able to show him how an airplane works. I never complain about flights but this one was tooo many little things. Oh and what about an international flight where I have to pay for a second bag! Really? I did it on my way to Europe and I thought I payed both and then I had to do it again. Whatever money I thought I could save was a lie because I ended up paying a lot more adding the bags and additional transportation for home based on the airports. I am not satisfied at all with the flight experience"

However if the passenger in front of you reclines their seats, you absolutely are forced to recline yours immediately, otherwise no one will fit. Flight attendants have to ask passengers to put the seats back from reclining during meal service so people can open the food tray and are able to access it, that is how much the seats tilt."

The people in the office where you pay for checked baggage took their time and chatted and had no sense of urgency. The first woman we spoke to apparently filled out the form incorrectly. We had to rush to get to the plane and we barely made it through long security lines. We almost missed the plane due to the lack of early information and check in, the cumbersome payment process, etc. It was the worst check in process ever."

"I'm not really sure what the difference is between Economy and Premium Economy on these long-haul flights, especially when the plan isn't very full and people in Economy can lie down across an entire row. The seats in Premium Economy are a bit bigger, but you can't recline or lie down and I'm pretty sure we get the same food options as regular economy. You get a little goodie bag that you don't really need. Also, there is really no point upgrading to business class on the short flights with Lufthansa. The seat size is the same as the rest of the plane. So, you're paying $50 or so for a pretty small snack/meal and a curtain between you."

With mostly everyone vaccinated and everyone tested, requirement to keep the face covering on between taking the bites seemed a little excessive. Seat assignment - flying with my daughter were assigned seats at opposite sides of the plane, when asked for change was told that there were no 2 seats available together which proved to be not true when after boarding was complete."

I understand that parents should have worried about this. But if the parents can not do anything with their child, the new toys could help calm the child, and not turn a long flight into torture for other passengers and crew."

I didn’t know my tixkets were cancelled until I was trying to check in. Worst experience ever!!"

They repeatedly threatened to cancel the flight rather than raise the offer. Eventually enough knuckled under and we were allowed to leave. Some no doubt missed connections because of this petty brinkmanship. The funny coda is that because the plane was so undersold, anyone in economy that wanted their own row could have one, while economy plus was packed with the embittered and downgraded."

Also I got a great price at Kayak. The service was excellent and I do love the fact that Lufthansa is now flying directly from Denver to Munich makes it so much easier."

Flying from Munich- The entertainment screen was broken, completely unusable. After a hard reset by the flight attendant several times... Still broken. She said she thought it would fix itself once we were at cruising altitude. Nope. Notified the flight attendant who said vaguely "I'll see what I can do..." Never came back to check, never got offered any sort of compensation (even something like a free mixed drink would have been nice), offer to move seats, nothing. So- ten hours with no entertainment/nothing to watch, just a malfunctioning screen. Food was mediocre. We boarded late, and left almost 1 hour late because they had to wait for an employee (who was not working, just getting a ride back) to board. Literally there and back with Lufthansa was a fiasco. On top of it, we have been back for 3 weeks and are still waiting to hear back from Lufthansa customer service. Apparently they only communicate by email with complaints. Not over the phone. So after repeated emails, just radio silence. Terrible airline."

I had a back pain. Boarding started with the First Class and Business Class first. It took an additional 20 minutes for Economy class to start boarding. The line was very, very long and interfered with other travelers in the airport terminal. "boarding area to Frankfurt was cramped" When we arrived in Denver, only five Custom Agents were on duty to process our arrival passports, although there are 14 control stations at Denver. It appeared as though the Custom Agents were not aware of the arrival of the Lufthansa 747 nor the one that followed. All other Custom in Europe were much more efficient and move people through quickly. What a bad first impress made by the USA Customs people."

The airline did not open the gate area until 1+35 prior to the flight (advertised 2-hrs prior), and did not put anyone at the gate-desk until 1-hr prior to departure ...and they still could not help us. Boarding was disorganized; Lufthansa appeared to board by different groups, but there were no announcements as to which group(s) should board. Instead there was just a large crowd milling about, waiting to push their way to a gate agent. Very un-German."

So I wonder why the crew cannot travel earlier to airport taking into account potential traffic jams. Knowingly I trvaelled to the airport about 2.5h before departure and made it perfectly on time to the airport, even though working in the morning, whereas the crew couldnt make it. maybe Lufthansa should change their crew hotel policy in particular for towns with notorious traffic jams like Kiev.."
Плюси: "I have a servere hearing problem and was concerned (since we were late leaving Zurich for my changeover in Frankfurt), that I would be late because I can't hear any loudspeaker systems (either on planes or in airports). I felt that I could get easily lost between flights and not have time to get to the Frankfurt/Denver flight. I told this to the person at the gate in Zurich, and he immediately arranged for someone to meet me in Frankfurt and take me there. I was met by Maika in Frankfurt and she was just excellent--personable and efficient and really helpful. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the name of the person at the gate in Zurich. He was also great. I wouldn't have done this if I had had more time, but this really made my day (and my flight!) ! Thank you!"

The bathrooms were more cramped and fewer in number for an overbooked flight, boarding was disorganized and delayed, the passengers in front of me put their seats all the way back for most of the flight, and seriously, just a few more inches of space would make these long flights 104% better. I think everyone would be happier to fly on less awful planes, including the poor crew who has to deal with miserable passengers."

With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

When we flew back, the plane was late once again and I was told that we might will be left until next day morning, so lots of nervous and stress. The food provided was very poor as well - basically just small chocolate bar and water, tea or coffee, so if you are hungry it would not really help you."
