There was no one at all at Turkish Care. I asked two different transportation representatives at the sky club and they refused to help in any way. I merely asked them to call Turkish Airlines, and they said they didn’t have the number. I begged both of them to call someone to help me, and they just laughed and said it wasn’t part of their job. I was horrified! I almost missed my plane.!"

"Ridiculous unnecessary "extra security" checks at the gate before boarding. With mostly everyone vaccinated and everyone tested, requirement to keep the face covering on between taking the bites seemed a little excessive. Seat assignment - flying with my daughter were assigned seats at opposite sides of the plane, when asked for change was told that there were no 2 seats available together which proved to be not true when after boarding was complete."

So I wonder why the crew cannot travel earlier to airport taking into account potential traffic jams. Knowingly I trvaelled to the airport about 2.5h before departure and made it perfectly on time to the airport, even though working in the morning, whereas the crew couldnt make it. maybe Lufthansa should change their crew hotel policy in particular for towns with notorious traffic jams like Kiev.."

Плюси: "I flew round-trip in Business Class from Munich to Kiev and then back to Germany via Frankfort and both flights were on time. The dedicated business class check-in line and advance boarding process was smooth - as were both flights. The cabin crew on both flights were very good and all spoke English well. My chief complaint is with the European Business Class seating model (3 across with center seat empty) - which does not afford much more leg room or seat pitch than in economy class. On the plus side you don't have to get in a fist-fight with anyone over the overhead bin storage problem since there are less people in business class and hence more storage space."

"My wife and I did not get food. There was no chicken left and we can’t eat pork so we didn’t get food. Crew member didn’t ask ask first but left the pork in our table and after I asked him what it was told that was only pork left I asked him to take back. The only thing we can’t eat is pork and that was the only option. I was shocked for a long flight not to have enough food. Crew member never came back to let us that there is no other food available. After we asked and other crew member he checked and confirmed there is no other food. He offered to share his own meal with my wife and I but we refused but we appreciated that. I hope I never have an other experience like that. It wasn’t a good experience. :("

Плюси: "Flight was good. Warsaw is a well organized airport and easy for transit passengers to negotiate. Flight crew, staff were all helpful and approachable. The captain gave passengers relevant information and cabin crew did the same. Flight was problem free no turbulence no delays no just well run and well organized."
Мінуси: "Leg room - I know in economy you can't expect much but passengers are really cramped on the 787. 9 hours of sitting in a very restricted space with little opportunity to get up and about if you are hemmed in between two fellow passengers - and once the idiot in front of me had reclined his seat it became very uncomfortable. I don't frankly see why seats need to recline at all - it does not make it much more comfortable for those "reclining" and certainly makes it considerably worse for the person sitting behind. I also don't understand LOT's boarding process - it didn't make much difference but if you are assigned a ZONE 3 boarding number and it is never displayed and never called, what"s the point."

I only object to the fact that they did not have the security check available at the boarding gate - or they might have called my name and sent me over there well before beginning boarding. They did assure me they would wait for me but I was the antepenultimate person to board the plane and quite upset by the whole thing."

Мінуси: "What I was transferred to was Lufthansa and their flight was late at arriving and taking off. This transfer changed my destination to Frankfurt. I was stuck in Frankfurt with no compensation. Only a changed flight for the next day and a dinky hotel room. Lufthansa was very disorganized and wildly incompetent."

Well the flight from Warsaw to Berlin, operated by LOT was horrible! No snacks no drinks, not even water on a 2hour flight! Shame on you! I had my wedding gown with me and I asked one of the crew members to put it in one of the closets design for this. And in a broken English she told me 'ya there is a problem' and she showed me the closet, it was full with the crew luggage :( We ended up laying the gown on one seat that was empty! When we arrived at our destination and picked up our luggage we noticed that they broke one of the wheels. Overall very ugly experience with LOT!!!"

They offer "gourmet" cafe on-board for purchase, but one has to go all the way back of the plane to make a purchase, the flight attendants refuse to bring it to the passenger, which I found to be strange."

There was a problem with the website so we couldn't check in online and we had tried to change our flight a few days earlier but the website again didn't work, we tried to call a call centre whose number was on there, didn't work."

We had to wait at the airport for a flight from Asia to arrive so that plane could be cleaned up and used for my flight. There was no hotel or food offered during 9 hour delay window in Kyiv, if you wanted something - you had to pay out of pocket which is ridiculous, hundreds of people were delayed so there was no room in the general waiting area, 9 hours of sitting on the floor for $1200, how about that? Ridiculous service at the customs, been pulled aside for a detailed exam 5 times, basically every 30-60feet, staff is extremely rude, very poor customer service.. disgusted by the experience with Ukrainian Airlines."

Also there were tons of screaming kids and one kicking my seat, but that has nothing to do with the airline lol luckily I brought earplugs. Didn’t get the food but didn’t look too great anyways. Bring a book or something because there is zero entertainment."

In TLV they told me my bag is small enough to take in the plane but then in the connection all of the sudden they said I have to pay 60 euro for it!! Take responsibility for decisions your company took! You are embarrassing yourself and most important- your customers. The behavior of the staff was also ugly, disrespectful, meant to put you under pressure to pay instead of trying to help and understand."

Мінуси: "My trip had just started and it is already ruined. I have a roundtrip ticket from NYC to Israel with a connection in Ukraine for both directions. I was traveling with one checked item in luggage - suitacse, and one personal item onboard - a guitar in a soft case. I'm a professional musician and I've been traveling with this exact instrument in the exact for over 5 years, domestically in the US and all over the world. I've never had any problems with it and I was always treated respectfully even with low cost airlines or on smaller airplanes. There were no problems on the first part of the flight from NYC to Kiev, and then, as I was boarding a the flight from Kiev to Israel, the counter employee at the gate counter (her first name is: Yejzina) - explained to me that if I won't pay an additional 66 EURO immediately, I would not be able to board on the flights with my guitar. I was even more upset to find out that another passenger boarded the flight after me with a guitar and did not have to pay for it. My guitar fit perfectly in the over head cabin and even on a packed flight there was no issue with headroom caused by me. Although I paid and purchased a ticket for this flight, I was discriminated and treated as if I was doing something wrong. I did my best to be responsible and be among the first people to board the flight and instead I was mistreated. The rest of the passengers had exceptional amount of excess baggage in suitcases and bags they wanted to take on board and yet I was the only one who was asked to pay for his. --- As a costumer, I am appalled by the treatment I was getting and I would like to be contacted immediately about reimbursement over my experience and false costs."

If I was not flying with someone I knew it would be extremely uncomfortable as you are shoulder to shoulder with the person next to you (me and my friend are both tiny and we just fit in the seats). The space is just OK if it were a domestic or short flight of 3 hours or so, but it should be illegal to put that many people on a flight across the ocean. There are no videos behind your seat so you have to watch what they choose on the few videos hanging from the ceiling. The staff were not very friendly. Plane was not well kept and the plane is old."

No information as to why, no announcements. We waiting for a few minutes on the bus before returning to the gate, again without any notifications. Once back at the gate, they just said to wait for information, but the flight would take off. It eventually did, and the pilot told us what the delay was (air traffic control and weather at the arrival destination), but no one in the terminal let us know that."

I tried to call customer service of UIA to ask what I should do in a case like this do I have to pay for a new ticket or I have any options. I was on phone for more than 20 minutes no one pick up the phone. What if it's an emergency and no one is available it's insane. I came to airport and stuff/employees of airport who are supposedly have to help you and actually take care of you if you are late or at least explain what should I do and where should I go.I was late and I couldn't find the boarding for my flight cause they already finished checking in people. Well I asked one of the employee for help so this lady sent me somewhere through the whole hall to the windows which were already closed I told her that I am super late and I am not going to make it. When I run there everything was closed the window next to it was different airlines but I saw a register girl so I asked for help what should I do my check in is over so the blond lady yelled at me that she is busy and have her things to do this is not nice. I run to the other employee she sent me somewhere else and the line is huge to get to register window and people are mad that I am trying to go in front of them without waiting for my turn I tried to explain that my flight is about to depart. So for my opinion these employees over there mostly don't know their duties they make you run for no reason when I explained my situation somebody should have taken me personally to a right check in window so I can faster get my boarding pass without making other people angry. I am not satisfied with their service in the airport, they are rude and not polite!!!"

An hour before we were due to board the plane we found out about the delay due to techical issues/ plane rotation, i.e. a problem entirely of UIA's own making. Second, zero customer service for our options as passengers to reschedule, re-route, or be reimbursed for our 7 hour delay (delays over 5 hours allow for full refunds according to UIA's own Air Passenger Rights on their website). Third a promised lunch during the delay was itself also delayed, this time by an hour an a half. Fourth, the flight experience itself. A 10.5 hour flight with no in seat monitors, no complementary beverages (only water), no pillow, horrible food, broken seats, no usb ports for charging devices, and freezing cabin conditions. I would hands down never fly with UIA again in my life."

The customer service rep who was the transfer agent when we arrived in Kiev from Dubai was so rude and dismissive. She could not tell us what time we were now going to arrive in NYC. I contacted the airline 2 months before our departure & asked for a window & a middle seat together. I received an email confirmation with the assigned seats I requested. However, the agent handed me tickets with two separate middle seats! I advised her that i had already reserved seats together months ago & she told me too bad, they can change our seats if they wanted to! I was completely shocked that they gave our seats away & at how rudely she treated us. We also tried to ask another agent at the gate what time we would now be landing in NYC (because we were clearly going to miss our connecting flight and needed to make arrangements) He was even more rude to us than the first agent! He said "how am I supposed to know that" then he said he couldn't help us and he needed us to move out of the line. When we asked if he could possibly look it up on his computer he completely ignored us & started talking to the person in line behind us. I was shocked at how bad we were treated & how little the agents knew. We finally found an information desk and one woman told us the flight time was 3 hours. When we told her that it took us over 9 hours to get to Kiev the week before, she then said it was an 8 hour flight. Needless to say it was actually a 10 hour flight. We were told that the reason the flight was delayed almost 4 hours was because the plane would not be getting to the airport until the new scheduled departure time due to delays in another city. Well we witnessed the plane in the gate more than 2 hours before we loaded. It was there the entire time, so that was obviously a lie. The seats were tiny and cramped and they do not have individual TVs. So uncomfortable for 10 hours! Since we missed our connecting flight in NYC, there were no more flights leaving that day so we had to stay the night and fly stand-by the next morning. All the flights were full due to it being the holidays so it took us over 45 hours to get home. Thank god that we were flying on Southwest Airlines from NYC to ABQ. They were so helpful and made sure to get us on whatever flight they could to get us home. Thankfully they had great customer service and were at least able to make the end of our journey a little bit better. I will tell everyone I know to NEVER fly with Ukraine Int. Airlines, no matter how cheap the ticket is. Spend a little more money on go on a reputable airline that will at a minimum have basic customer service. The boarding was a disaster as they kicked everyone out of the holding area and then made us all reenter after they checked us all off a list. We then stood in another line to board. We left even later than the new scheduled time."

We just had to give an address and hope for the best. In the meantime we had to buy clothes and toiletries and got zero reimbursement from the company and not even an apology. This is a budget airlines. If you want food you have to buy it. The only thing your given on board is one cup of water for a 3 hour flight. There are no tvs and the legroom is very tight."

Мінуси: "Delay without an explanation. Left a voicemail asking me to call them back while I was in a different contry. I emailed to every email that I found on their site (3 addresses). Revived an automatic respond but that's it. Luckily was flying through Kyiv and was able to speak with an airline representative and arrange my connecting flight. Representative suggested to add me to a 10+pm flight (I would land in Nyc at 4:35pm). After keep asking to look for other, possible earlier, flights I was rescheduled for a 6:45pm flight. However, once landed in Nyc I was asked to find a crew member before leaving the plane. Once I did, I was told that I got rescheduled once again to a 10:20pm flight (5 hours of waiting). When I asked why was I rebooked again without my notice, they didn't explain and then I asked if there are other earlier flights - I was told yes there are but they won't make any other changes to my travels. Also only their Kyiv office can make any changes the one in Nyc is just following instructions and not a fully functional office (useless)."
Мінуси: "My Flight was delayed almost 10 hours without any explanation or assistance. After a few hours i was offered a meal that looked even less appealing than the in-flight meals offered. I spent my day sleeping on an airport bench and trying to replan my business activities that were delayed due to this flight. Will not use this travel agency or airline again."

Мінуси: "I,didn't like the fact that I must pay for my bag and it's even below 16 kilo , they asked me to pay $55 , not only that , I went to pay , next window , the lady said go on floor one in the airport and bring change because I don't accept dollars !! But as you know when someone already traded his money back to dollars , it's hard for him to carry Ukrainian money while he is leaving ukrain , then finally I went to,first floor) and it took me 1 hour , to exchange my money because the lady was too slow , and plus she is not very nice with people , and suddenly they closed one window , saying they have a break , so I almost missed my boarding time because of this stupid money exchange , anyways , I,hope they accept dollars in,the future , plus I don't like it because on the way from tlv to Kiev I didn't get charged , but why now ?"

Плюси: "We enjoyed this leg, also. The food was unique, but tasty. The airport restaurant in Kyev was super cheap. The most amusing thing was the comment which the flight attendant made to us as we were exiting the plane in Dubai. She said, "Good luck!" The flight attendants are all young and pleasant. Arriving in Dubai at 2 am after flying all day was a stretch, as we did not get a hotel and the cruise ship did not start boarding until after 11 am. We hung around the airport. It was a very cost effective plan, but we were tired. The flight was inexpensive."
Мінуси: "We don't speak Russian, but most announcements were also in English. At the airport in Dubai after we get off the plane, this guy comes up to us and says, "Do you need a taxi?" We did, so we start following him out toward the parking garage. I asked him how much and he says, "120 Euros.' Then, he starts walking further away from the terminal. "It is a limo," he says. As we walk some more, I said, "Where is this taxi?" He points in a vague direction away from the terminal. There do not appear to be any limos in this direction. I look back at the terminal where the official looking taxis are lined up. He says, "Only a little further." I said, "I don't see any taxi." And we turned right around and walk back to the official taxi stand. It was a good thing, too, because the taxi ride to the cruise ship only cost 35 Euros."

Мінуси: "My flight to Minsk was listed as boarding at gate D9 on my boarding pass, which I picked up in Frankfurt. Then when I got to Kiev I checked the departures board, and it had changed to D15. Another board listed the same D15 gate, so that is where I went. No problem so far; I know that gates change from time to time. But our boarding time came and went, and there were no announcements for us to board. Then a few minutes later I heard an announcement that a flight to Amsterdam would begin boarding at gate D15! Sure enough, the gate had changed again, but I now had no idea where my flight to Minsk was boarding. I checked two different departure boards, and my flight was no longer listed on them since it was so close to the departure time. Finally, I found a third departure board where it was listed, and it said we would be boarding at gate D10. But for about ten minutes I was pretty panicked, running around the airport trying to find out where my flight was boarding! Another lady on my flight also had difficulty finding the gate, as she had also been sitting at gate D15. It was only as we began boarding that I heard an announcement naming the new gate. That is not a good way to run an airline. UIA should do a much better job of informing their passengers of gate changes."

Мінуси: "1. a bag did not arrive leaving me without my necessary stuff. No aircompany office at the airport, so nothing can be done. No compensation for the bag delay along the whole period of the travel. 2.small leg room, 3. non-comfy seats"
Мінуси: "Ukrainian intl Air destroyed our winter vacation. They sold us a flight Tel Aviv- Kiev- Warsaw. Now we understand that the connection flight was unreasonable (40 minutes between flights) but they sold it anyway. Thus, our baggage didn't arrive to Warsaw with us. We are waiting for two days for our bags (still waiting!!). Meanwhile we don't have our ski gear and outfits. Actually, we don't have anything and it's -3 outside!! We had to buy a lot of winter clothing, rent ski clothing, equipment, etc., We spent more than 500 Euros and precious time. Our vacation is ruined and we are very disappointed :( Next time we will book flights with a travel agent ..."
