The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew."

They are much better overall for sure. The food and staff were excellent! The food quality is very good compared to the other airlines. The cabin crew are always passing around water and chocolates throughout the flight. They were friendly and helpful as well. The pilots were also very good. We had no rough turbulence and their landing skills were amazing."

Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

I also thought some of the materials used in the plane were cheap, like the foldout tables on the back of the seat, the pillow covers, and the headphones (one of which broke midway). Плюси: "On every flight I have ever been on, if I request it I can get a whole water bottle vs. the small cups offered...however on this flight they refused saying 'it is against the rules"?? As a result I had to bother the flight crew over 10 times to refill my small glass...a huge inconvenience for both of us. The other inconvenience (one I have not experienced in over 5-6 years) was the the headphone jacks were the old fashioned kind...meaning you could not use your own, and the buds given by the airline were very uncomfortable."

The airline did not open the gate area until 1+35 prior to the flight (advertised 2-hrs prior), and did not put anyone at the gate-desk until 1-hr prior to departure ...and they still could not help us. Boarding was disorganized; Lufthansa appeared to board by different groups, but there were no announcements as to which group(s) should board. Instead there was just a large crowd milling about, waiting to push their way to a gate agent. Very un-German."

I asked the male flight attendant about changing airplanes, said our new gate was right next to our arriving gate. He said no problem. Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. I did not appreciate the lack of information from the flight attendant, however holding the plane was a godsend."

They also offered us only a piece of bread with ham and cheese and a coffee for the next 12 hours until the new flight left. Not a pleasant experience."

After a harrowing cab ride to the airport in which our driver continuously ignored my request to follow the GPS insisting that he knew faster shortcuts, we arrived 40 minutes later than intended. Additionally he dropped us off at the wrong terminal such that we finally arrived at the KLM gate an hour later than we had planned. This was especially frustrating as we are traveling with two small children and made every effort to be punctual and leave early to be sure we got there with time to spare. Not the case today. All of that I could deal with, but when we arrived at the KLM counter, and I apologized to the attendant staff member that we were late and explained that our cab driver got lost, she responded by chastising us first in Spanish and then in broken English. She made sure to make it clear to us that it was our fault and we should not blame the Argentinian cabdriver. The cabdriver was not actually Argentinian, but that is totally besides the point. I was totally taken aback to be treated so rudely as a greeting at the airline counter. My wife share the same sentiment. Nothing like this has ever happened to us before. Thank God, every single airport personnel and of course KLM staff member on board was incredibly kind and accommodating of our children subsequent to this. It saved what otherwise could've been a terrible experience."

This seemed a blatant attempt to gain additional money from me, because I know the bag was not overweight. The food selections were average at best. Leaving Warsaw traveling to Los Angeles, we left almost an hour past our original scheduled departure do to the need to obtain additional supplies. On my next trip to Europe, I will look for alternate flight providers."

Flight's takeoff was eventually 1 hour 45 minutes late, so did LOT understaff the check-in process knowing that the plane's departure was going to be late? I paid a premium to fly LOT and assumed that would avoid the consistently terrible Easyjet/Ryan Air check-in and boarding process. No such luck. It was a truly horrible.
