I realize that in these times, we must go through added security, but I am accustomed to US airports where there is more communication over the intercom and by airport officials. In Istanbul, it seemed that everyone did not want to give directions, and airport officials seemed to avoid the public they were there to serve."

We asked if she could make an exception due to our issues with transportation or if she was able to help us rebook a flight and she said no. We had already paid for this flight and had checked in baggage and paid separately for the two bags and she told us there were no Ryan air flights for our destination. We promptly rebooked with another airline at a separate airport and consequently had to pay for another form of transportation to the airport as well as a new flight and another two checked pieces of baggage. I have traveled all over Europe, the US, Canada, Central America etc. and never in my years of travel have I felt so belittled and disrespected especially considering I was a paying, respectful and loyal customer. It goes without saying I will never use this airline again and will be strongly recommending other airlines to friends and family."

Our lovely counter agent came to our aid and spoke sense to Ali with a verbal slap about the head-free entertainment-, helping to put some semblance of joy into the experience that is flying Ryanair. Upon access to our boarding gate they would not let us in due to the size of 2 of our carry on. We understand it is policy for them to fit into the carry on fitment test in order for it to be free so we were then directed to pay extra for our carry on and have them checked in. By this time it was 8:40am, the person in charge for checking in luggage said it was closed and to let the boarding agents know that we can get through. Although we told them this (lots of going back and forth wasting more time) the boarding agent said it didn't matter and we needed some sort of proof that they said it was ok. We had no idea what to do then since they wouldn't let us check in our carry on nor get through the boarding gate & pretty much getting brushed off whenever we tried to ask if there were any other options. Finally by 8:50 we decided to take out some items and carried them. Through the security line we see a lady with a carry on almost twice the size of ours! Very frustrated with how things were dealt with considering they knew our plane was about to depart, our experience was a complete nightmare & will most likely not be flying with Ryanair again"

Well we ended up having to pay €50 EACH to the airport administrator to get a boarding pass. I went through all the documents I received from the airline, and nothing states that we had to check-in before we arrived. They said they sent me a text message to my hotel, which was the contact number I had put when we bought the ticket. That didn't do anything to help. We will be fighting this with the airlines, discussing our bad experience, and never flying with them again."

Мінуси: "First problem started when the Rynair website would not recognize my information when I tried to check-in online. I assumed that this may have been completed during the recent purchase because there website said my flight was confirmed. Arriving to the airport later than I would have liked but within more then the 40 minutes required to check-in when I arrived I was put on the incorrect line, after explaining that I wasn't able to check-in online, then when told finally I needed to go customer service. I should have been on the line to check-in instead, and after standing on long lines as a disabled passenger was told that it was to late to board. Your customer service agent didn't apologize for his staffs incompetence putting me on the incorrect lines to check-in and then did not offer to put me on the same flight schedule for the following day unless I payed an additional $100. I would have made my flight in more than enough time especially in such a small airport if the staff put me on the correct line to check-in. I was flying to Madrid on business and missed and had a small window of opportunity to meet a client who because of the delay would no longer be available because they were also soon traveling on business.This snow balled into a variety of problems; I had to pay for the apartment in Madrid I had pre-booked, and train tickets that where purchased would no longer be used, I had to go back to Paris and find another hotel to stay in."

Мінуси: "Don't call it a Paris airport if it's 100km away! We travel a lot, many big cities have 2 airports, so I didn't blink an eye when it showed Paris had 2 airport options. Like every other place we stay, we got up 3.5hrs before our flight, ate, and caught a cab to the airport. It was the driver who informed us how far it was (100km out of town!). Not only was the cab $175EUROS! But of course we missed our flight to Rome. We had to fly to Pisa and rent a car to Rome. Thus costing us another 11 hours and another $515 EUROS in total. Including the cab! I don't care if you want to sell flights from Beauvais. But don't call it Paris, and at least flash a warning as to how far it is, when people are purchasing!"

It took such a long time to get through that the people at the end of the line were late catching the plane. Now to actually boarding the plane. None of this was anyone’s fault accept the actual passengers tat were being difficult HOWEVER there could have maybe been something done seeing that we left and hour and a half later than we should have because of said passengers. When you have a layover, that is an actual nightmare. Next, onto the layover. It was fine. Nothing bad happened on the flight itself. But here’s where it sucked. Everyone who flew from Paris to Lviv with a layover in Kiev lost their baggage. GREAT NEWS TO HEAR. I understand that this happens from time to time. But we were given hardly any answers as to when we would have our luggage back and we were all a part of a very important even where, oh I don’t know. Clothes would be nice to have. Anyway that’s it. Just a little chunk of our hellish travel day."

Little information was given to the passengers in languages other than Ukrainian. Re-boarding was not announced, it just happened. Seats were very uncomfortable and too close together."

Check-in desk manage Mike and other employees said we will be fully refunded, but customer service lady almost yelled at me telling that this was not true. Originally we were told flight was canceled due to technical issues. Than we found out that similar flight had been canceled the night before. Why not tell us these before we came from boston?!"
