I just carried 43 inch tv weighing 19lbs and one check-in baggage weighing 21kgs and they made me pay 175$ saying that tv size is not in allowed limitations. I have also filed complaint but didn’t get any response so far . Last year my husband carried 55 inch with ethihad from same airport JFK and was not charged single penny. so I can say there is no airport restriction as well."

Boarding was orderly and efficiently executed, although some announcement about the 30-minute boarding delay would have been appreciated. Onboard the seating was quite comfortable compared with other airlines I have travelled on and the crew was exceptional in their service - really customer-focused. The meals were tasty with unlimited snacks and complimentary drinks. Generally, I would highly recommend this airline."

Мінуси: "29 passengers were arriving in JFK from MSP, a flight that was delayed due to ground staff issues at JFK (which means that Emirates' partner airline had some issues?). Plane was delayed but we landed just in time to make the connection or so we thought. After running through the terminal, we saw our plane attached to the gate for 53 minutes(I have pictures to show) but Emirates gate staff said the flight is now closed, and didn't let us board the flight. They didn't help us rebook our next flight, or pay for hotel or transportation. And some of us couldn't fly for 2 days because they were overbooked on their future flights. And that's what really happened - Emirates was overbooked for our flight, and conveniently used the excuse that they didn't know our flight had landed in JFK (seriously), and their ground staff was totally non challent about it. They asked us to call the partner airline to rebook, who instead asked us to call Emirates. 4-6 hours of calling for most of us in the middle of the night. Emirates has social media presence on Twitter & Facebook but it's like chatting with a wall. Its 100% useless and waste of time, and I have asked them where I can send my complaint but they won't respond."

I was at Frankfurt (FRA) airport waiting to board Air Moldova Flight 864 to Chisinau (KIV). Due to a delay caused by Frankfurt security (and no fault of my own), I was delayed in reaching the gate. Since it was past my boarding time, I grabbed my bags from the conveyor belt once past security without having time to repack. I arrived at the gate and the extremely rude Air Moldova gate agent on duty yelled at me and demanded that I give her my boarding pass. When I told her I needed to pack, she yelled that there was “no time for that”. When I searched for my pass, she again yelled and said “NOW!”. When I told her that it was not my fault that I arrived late since there was a delay at security, she said “Not my problem!”. After she checked my boarding pass, I tried to repack and she again yelled “There is no time. Go to the bus NOW!” I once again told her that it was not my fault I got delayed and she again yelled “NOT MY PROBLEM”. In addition to rude employees, the airline is clearly in violation of safety regulations. The safety card in the back seat pocket was written in ARMENIAN – and Armenian only, thanks to the plane having been leased and Air Moldova not appropriately changing the safety cards. How did they expect people who read Romanian or Russian (the local languages) or English to understand it! On top of that, the plane was easily 20 years old or more and dirty. If they can't even keep a plane clean or have the appropriate safety cards, what else are they not maintaining. Do not fly this terrible airline!"

New custom: serve coffee AFTER breakfast 5. Nobody walked around with water or juice between the meals - you had to wake your neighbor since climbing over someone is no longer possible [either] 6. If you have 2 beverages on your tray and your neighbor needs to get out, you need a third person to assist (impossible to get out of your seat with 2 beverages in your hands (we tried it!) - just too narrow (even for a European Teenager) 7. It was not clearly visible who boards where. An Economy couple standing patiently in line at the Wong boarding line was sent back to the end of the long economy line - although NOBODY was in the business line"

She did past through my area and again she was stocked with her cart, and she thought is was my foot again. When she realized that this time was not my foot, (which in the first time it was and she kicked my knee with the speed of her movement and I was not aware to save the moment) nevertheless, the second time and for the rest of my trip I was so careful that it did not happen again. But it happened one more time, but not with my foot. although she thought it was me. She looked at me again with a very bitter-eye but when she realized that the problem was not me she looked at another way acting as if she didnot understand what was going through her mind or my mind."

I WILL NOT EVER AGAIN, travel with LUFTHANSA just because of the way they treated me in my case which I travel always with my emotional pet, and this time they gave me a hardship and I had to travel without Logan. and additionally to this, I had to accept that flight attendance wordless aggressive behavior. Which in my opinion, I believe she could say I am sorry, and not looking at me as her worse enemy. Madness. She honestly needs a psychological evaluation."

There was a curtain which separates the business class and economic class. As the 1st point, my seat was the 1st-row aisle seat, so the curtain hit me every time the crew went through the curtain, which is extremely annoying. 3. The Entertainment screen is so difficult to use, either hard to touch or so slow."

This meant that I missed my connecting flight in Munich, had to endure an extended lay over, board an extra flight to Budapest and endure an even more unbearable lay over there before being able to reach my final destination in Athens. I paid for a one-stop flight and have ended up having to endure a two-stop flight with extended lay overs. I feel completely cheated out of my money and overall have had a terrible experience."

I don't expect a luxurious meal for an economy class ticket, but the food could have been better ( and it is - with other airlines). Some fresher bread - and more eatable - would have been very good. The movie selection was poor - only old, badly rated movies. I know it can be way better than this - with other airlines. Overall I was unpleasantly surprised - very surprised."

For two days now, his luggage with his nebulizer and asthma medications has gone missing and not ONE person at Lufthansa is willing to help on their end. Since his last leg was with Ethiopian Airlines, Lufthansa is unwilling to help in any fashion or form in helping to track the luggage that flew with them over two flights. They DENY they have any responsibility to help because it's not their "policy." They wouldn't even look into their computers to see where the luggage was last seen. I am so angry that "policy" is more important to Lufthansa than actual human caring about their passengers."

Getting luggage after flight at Dulles took a really long time, but I think that is more of an airport issue as getting my luggage from another Austrian airlines flight to another airport was a breeze."

Мінуси: "The flight attendants did a satisfactory job of distributing meals and snacks only if you were awake during their service round. I was resting on one occasion and missed the snack. I was total ignored when I asked for a serving. The boarding process was disorganized and the flight was delayed about an hour. Seat way too small for transatlantic. I weight 62kg and was sitting in a middle seat. Next time I'll have to get an upgrade."

Мінуси: "That was the most uncomfortable flight I have had. It was hard fora short flight, though sitting so close to another passenger, side and front was stressful. Plus, my back was killing me by the end of the short flight- and the long flight from Europe to the US was hard. It was pretty much knocking elbows with the passenger next to me when eating. And mind you- no passenger in my row as any larger than the average person. The seat recline was fine and marginally helpful in relieving back strain- except it did put you in the lap of the passenger behind you. The passenger across the aisle from me shoved the seat in front of her and told the passenger in front of her he could NOT recline. The passenger next to her (I assume her husband) joined in with the shoving. I finally felt a need to intervene and calm them down as it began to escalate- and I did want the flight to continue. Note- while I think the passengers shoving the seat were a bit rude- the crowded nature of the seating with the recline was hard, so I understand. But the person in front had a reason (and a NEED given the discomfort) to lean his seat back. The seats were simply too uncomfortable to keep them upright. I helped them find a recline for both passengers that was reasonably okay. I also tried to get my recline somewhere between comfortable for me (impossible) and reasonable in space for the person behind me, This is an airline problem. And when people wonder about the rise in passenger rage... this cramming in is it. I had to use Austrian because of a last minute need to book a flight- given the inability to relax even a little and the residual back and leg pain ... thus my ability to immediately jump into work during a busy work and travel schedule means that I will definitely not take this airline again. If you are shorter than 5' 5 and weigh about 100 lbs- this might be okay. Otherwise, expect to be a lot of rats shoved in a cage."

Upon arrival in Vienna getting off the plane we had to take the stairs and the bus to the terminal - that's how small the plane was. Just awful."
Плюси: "Overall the flight was better than most. The crew was friendly, competent and as attentive as coach allows these days. I appreciated the attendant who asked the man in front of me to put his seat back up during the meal. The little red pillows were great - big enough to be useful and comfortable. Although we chose not to watch a movie, we were impressed with the offerings. Comfort on a long flight in coach is a thing of the past but we knew that when we chose to fly that class."
Мінуси: "Most of the crew was great (hence the five star rating) and the flight in general was at least on a par with competitive airlines but we did have an unpleasant encounter with a young man who we were told was the purser. When my husband asked about what seemed to us like a very high level of security (including dogs on the gangway as we boarded the plane), this young man replied in a very condescending manner,"It's America. You tell me". Well, we are Americans, not always in agreement with our country's actions and attitudes, but that comment was needlessly dismissive and hostile."

Мінуси: "After spending almost $1,400 on my ticket to Poland, the last thing I would expect for such a long trip would be a broken seat that didn't recline. Being 6'7"in height and having the seat in front of me reclined I had to sit crouched for over 9hrs.When I informed the stewardess, not much concern was given and the alternative offered was worse because it was a middle seat with less space knowing that there were available seats in premium class. No effort was made to accommodate me knowing that the trip was long and sitting with my legs crouched could cause a health issue. A working seat is not a luxury, it's basic equipment that you expect to be functional not broken."
