We had to take a bus from the plane to the terminal, go through immigration with very long lines, take a tram to our departure terminal and then run to our gate which was at the end of a very long hallway. Luckily they held the plane but it was very stressful and exhausting getting to our plane."

For over five hours I tried to use the restroom and she kept yelling at me to sit back in my seat, in spite the fact that several other people were using the restroom and several other people were up and moving about, she singled me out and wouldn't let me get up without harassing me. Eventually I appealed to another one of the flight crew who allowed me to urinate, but it was over five hours I had to pee and was inexplicably not allowed to."

This was a complete violation of my rights. Never have I faced a humiliating situation at any other airport. If this was a TSA requirement then everyone should be subject to a second security check."

And in the process of the turmoil and stress of rushing, I have witnessed airport people being extremely rude with passengers who were not at fault that their original flight was late and were merely trying to make it on time. Мінуси: "1. Aweful legspace and overall space: I am 5'11'' and an average guy. It was like fitting myself into a cage. 2. Ground management is very bad. I felt that in both Boston and in Istanbul. They make people wait and the queue becomes long to adjust their delays. My flight from Istanbul to Dhaka was scheduled at 3:40 am. They started boarding passagers at around 3:10 am. Before that, they even bothered to show up at the boarding bridge, let alone informing people about their delay. The behavior of the groud crew was an embarrassment."

I saw that they really worked hard to help me! I am extremely grateful and impressed! I will forever LOVE Turkish airlines!"

Apparently there was no effort to make up lost time, so our scheduled 7:10pm arrival was after 8pm. Pasta dish was clearly supposed to be a hot meal, but it was cold when served."

How does an airline not put a tag on a bag and give a bagage tag to a customer. ?? And after going on a cruise with one Carry on and everything Lost they don't even give us an allowance or a normal kit for toiletries and no one answers our questions. All the calls go to the call center that has no idea about how to track a bag. There are no managers to help and the customer service stinks"

Мінуси: "This is not a Turkish Airlines issue, per se, but an airport problem. Ataturk is very spread out and there are far more planes than gates. More often than not, the plane parks way out in the back 40, and shuttle buses take you to a processing point. If you have less than a 2 Hr layover, and you're switching between Domestic and International flights, you will need to walk at top speeds, or run. Passport Control and multiple security checkpoints could easily cause you to miss your flight."

After booking both mine and my boyfriend's tickets we were later warned that there will be an 8 hour lay over instead of the expected 3 hour (as booked). I will try my very best to avoid Turkish Airlines in the future. After taking many long haul flights in my life, I can safely say that this was my worst and most disorganised travel."

A really nice perk was the kit given to all the passengers in economy class with slippers, toothpaste, toothbrush, lip cream, and eye mask - no airline does this anymore and it is to be commended. The food on both legs of my flight (New York to Istanbul to Nice and the return) was actually very good -- this was the second time I've flown on Turkish Airlines and I look forward to flying again."

We came there - nothing. Then next text - come get it in two days. When it finally arrived - it was torn. I don't know who to blame in the first wrong text, I don't know why and how the suitcase was lost, I don't know who torn it, but in general it was all very wrong and inefficient."

Not the first time - Every tome I use this flight it is delayed and without clear information to passengers how much delay is anticipated. Announcements, even if they come - come not loud, simultaneous with other announcements - so impossible to hear. Scheduled gate is moved every time too."

Мінуси: "Boading priority was not possible, due to the massive amount of people crowding the entrance. Very hectic and uncoordinated boarding process. I always fly first row to be able to work with my laptop, however due to a last minute plane change the new A321 did not have a 1D or 1F, only 1A and 1C. I had booked 1D, but was moved back to 5D with absolutely no option to change back to the first row to finish my work. I had to sit sideways to be able to work, and it was extremely uncomfortable. I don't understand why they couldn't have moved me back to the first row and move the non-SEN/HON sleeping members back to 5D and 5F, or at least asked them if they would mind. The plane was massively late, and I missed my followup meetings at the airport."

Мінуси: "So I actually had a flight that departures at 9:50 AM and it was connection flight after I got to Frankfurt at 9:00, but I missed it cause other gates were too far and moreover Lufthansa staff were not so nice to help me out. Actually, I was running there and got to the gates at 9:40 AM but air hostess said that I've already missed it. They said that I had enough time and that's my fault - I even should be thankful that I don't pay for another flight that I am going to be flying in 7 hours. Bottom line: I got to Kiev at 9:20 PM and moreover, the flight landed 30 mins late. It never happened to me, despite I've been more than on 25 flights. I am shocked by employee's behavior and the situation in general. Would never recommend Lufthansa airline to anyone."

This resulted in my having to run to my gate after waiting on the long line at customs and I barely made my flight. Had I not been as physically able, I would have missed my flight even at my normal fast-walking pace. This should not have occurred- I should not have to run to my gate from one flight to another especially when I raised this concern to an employee of Lufthansa as well as a customs officer."

Мінуси: "It was extremely disorganized at the check-in counter. There was just a mass of people that eventually led to some lines but it wasn't even clear where the line started. In addition, the boarding itself was a mess and the plane departed late. There were no self check-in kiosks with baggage drops so people could have another option besides going to a counter and there wasn't anyone monitoring the line to make sure it was an orderly process. We were early so there wasn't an issue with waiting per se but rather with the process itself."

Because of an allergic reaction, I asked for ice a number of times and the attendants were more than happy to meet my needs."
Мінуси: "The seats were very close together. The trip from New York to Amsterdam seemed a lot more comfortable than the return flight. The food from NYC JFK was better than the food from Amsterdam. The movie selection on both flights was a little disappointing."

So, regardless of whether you book your tickets 3 months in advance or the day before, you're not actually guaranteed a seat unless you check in online. We weren't told this until we were at the airport and checked in there that we might not be able to get our pre-booked in advance flight because of over-booking from KLM. We then had to wait and see if there were seats available when boarding. Luckily, there were, but we were not sat together. Not the greatest start to our first holiday together as a couple. We were told that if there weren't seats available, they'd pay for us to get to another airport to fly out, which would have meant a huge delay on the only time off we'd get together this year and have to rearrange our pre-booked and pre-paid living arrangements for the week. All because there wasn't a lot of emphasis on the need to check in online before hand. You'd think if someone checked in at the airport, that would be more of a guarantee that they'd be flying with you that day, but apparently not. Definitely not impressed or happy with this part of the KLM experience. This is the only company that we've had this problem with, they should make it clearer that it is essential to check in online."

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

The Flight back crew were just the opposite. More like the old lazy farts you get on the American carriers or BA or QF long haul. Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

Apparently, the NY to LAX flight that KLM booked us on, was only one leg of the flight to Sydney Australia; and according to some airline agreement, only Australian nationals are permitted to take that flight! Running around at JFK from terminal four, to terminal seven, to terminal eight, back to terminal four, to get a flight out, was a bit much considering how tired we were – not to mention hungry, since KLM neglected to provide the kosher meals we had requested with plenty of time – BOTH going to and returning from Europe."

Then, crew was up and down the aisle the entire flight which flew from midnight took 9:00. Not even possible to sleep on this overnight flight."

Плюси: "The plane was nice and new. I loved the dimmed windows! I was told by my family about not adequate legroom but it was not bad, even with the middle and window seat (economy). Leg rest attachment was helpful."
Мінуси: "Only issue, when the row in front of me reclined their seats (nice and comfortable angle), I had to recline mine as well in order to sit comfortably and watch the movies. I also had to ask them to fold it back if I wanted to step away, otherwise there was no way to get out from the middle and window seat. The plane was also delayed at the origin, but unfortunately that is very usual for this airline, not sure why."
