Worst boarding experience ever and I've been flying for over 40 years. When I boarded finally I asked if I could give a review and although they said yes- nothing. So I hope someone who cares sees this."

The aircrafts were 777-300ER on both legs, and rather new. The entertainment is great and the TV screens are 11inches. Could not complain at all. Food is fine, standard fare, and there are some snacks available through entire flight. Istanbul is a reasonable airport for a short connection. Turkish allows 2 bags of 50lbs free - yet another reason to take it along with the reasonable fares."

It was like being in a refuge camp."

Turkish Airlines refused to check our luggage to final destination, so we had to go out in Istanbul, take our luggage and do check in for SIA flight to Singapore. We were lucky that flight from Odessa arrived in time and we had one hour to do so."

The only problem was the long layover. The only reason why I opted for the long stopover of 20 hrs because I was told that we will receive hotel accommodation on our arrival, however that did not materialize...very disappointing. Instead we were given free meal tickets. I was totally disgust !!!"

Мінуси: "The Star Alliance flights aren't that cheap. Comparable price between Lufthansa, Swiss, SAS and Austrian. Lufthansa gives you food, and has friendly service. SAS gives you coffee and tea. On Austrian and Swiss I didn't get anything. For same price range and same alliance, that is a point I keep in mind. Now I mainly try to get onto Lufthansa flights (or Turkish Airlines which is my favorite). Even on Aegean, I got better food, and the magazine was better, plus there were some monitors to track the flight. Austrian feels cheaper than the others. That is the main point I didn't like."

This makes no sense and must be due to booking through a third party. Unacceptable and not worth the $40 per ticket savings."

Мінуси: "The check in agent was not very helpful. He said, "Would you like window or aisle?" I said, "Window please". He says, "there are no windows. I can give you an aisle." I said, "but you asked me if I wanted a window." He said, "you are too late" (as though it's my fault... but I was one of the earlier ones at check-in and was not able to check-in online!). He continues, "I can give you an aisle in row 23". I say, "okay". Then after I leave the check-in counter and look at my boarding pass it says I have seat 11B. Neither window or aisle! In addition, I flew this flight as part of an Emirates ticket and it was not cheap, and yet the FlyDubai segment did not include a meal."

Мінуси: "It was unacceptable I wasn’t able to catch my flight going there and the clerk had no record of our flight and he was very rude. Also had to buy a more expensive ticket just to get there"
Плюси: "FlyDubai knows customer service. I would have given 15 stars out of 10 if it let me. I flew economy but was treated like first class. I will only book with FlyDubai for all trips. See you guys next month when I return to Dubai."
Плюси: "The crew is incredibly professional and you do feel bad for them."
Мінуси: "It's the other passengers that are the problem (and that's consistent). The cabin stinks (due to the passengers), they generally don't listen to crew instructions, and it's the only place that every time you land there is someone who is standing up immediately after touchdown and the crew is yelling at them."
Мінуси: "They have charged a fortune from me to carry my regular luggage . They said I could have purchased the luggage ticket as well . this is I'm hearing for the first time ."

Плюси: "Excellent service all around, much better than the Air Asia experience. Excellent complimentary food packet was a surprise."
Мінуси: "Entertainment system is a mess. Even if paid service, the touch screens do not work and worse, they are energy inefficient with the screens HOT to the touch. Doubt they make any revenue to recoup the investment."

Мінуси: "While passengers were clearly notified about new lap top/ tablet ban, many passengers appeared to disregard and still showed up with these items as carry on in Dubai? All the boxing and shrink wrapping apparently caused a 1.5 hour boarding delay, which isn"t fair to those who follow instructions. Even the pilot blamed American government? Why can"t people listen.? This rule was well publicized in media."

Мінуси: "due to weather conditions, flight delayed and this information was not shared by Flydubai crew (wherever they are?). This is the 2nd time that delay happened and airline failed to manage the passenger at boarding gate or airport screens. people were shouting and looking for one person to communicate with, but there was no one to talk to. So - bad management - no hot drinks onboard the flight - lake of ethics - terminal at dubai airport was crowded and lake of services and seates to stay on!"
Плюси: "The staff at Dubai were very helpful and efficient at arranging for overnight hotel accommodation and meals at the airlines expense. I suspect they have had a lot of practice with delayed flights!"

Fly Dubai flight from Kathmandu was 5 hours late in departing, so I missed my connection in Dubai, had to stay overnight and was ultimately 18 hours late in reaching my final destination. 2. Paying for food and drink (even water!) on a 5+ hour international flight is ridiculous. I don't know any other airline that does this. US airlines on domestic flights at least provide soft drinks, water, tea and coffee and the odd snack free. 3. No entertainment. A big minus on such a long flight."
Плюси: "The crews were great on both legs of the flight. Seating was not too bad. When boarding finally started, it was fast."
Мінуси: "Both of my flights were delayed, and in both situations no one would tell anyone what was going on. Leaving passengers in the dark about their travels is a terrible experience."
