We were lucky that flight from Odessa arrived in time and we had one hour to do so."

Economy seats are very cramped so it's an uncomfortable and probably not healthy experience for that long. The flight delay meant that there was high stress in Warsaw to make the connecting flight. Why transit passengers need to be subjected to security checks and clearance I do not understand. We have just got off an international flight - transit passengers surely aren't combined with new passengers who have not been through security in Warsaw."

After heading down what seems like a boarding ramp you go outside, then into a holding pen. It’s a giant metal shed that looks like it was made for cattle. Then after standing there for 30-40 minutes, you go outside again to board the plan. On board, there were no amenities, but that was expected."

Then they were selling scratch tickets AND perfume and jewelry! THEY EVEN SPRAYED PURFUME ON THE PLANE! It gave me such a trrrible headache and made me even more nauseous than I already was from the flight!!! So smelly!!! The seats didn’t recline And my husbands seat was ripped. So terrible all around!!!"

At Ciampino they told me my bag was too large and forced me to pay 50 euro to bring the bag on. I explained to them I've had no problems prior to this flight and they did not seem to care. So i have to paid 50. 00 euros for it and plus I had to pay 40.00 euros for each suitcase (total 2 suitcases = 80.00 euros) Which i suppossed i had been paid when i booked my holidays, and no much information has been given in it. in the end too expensive. I will look at other low cost airlines in the future."

My story is.... none of the "check in online" emails/reminders nor the actual check in process clearly outlines how to retrieve your boarding pass. We arrived at the airport and they made us pay €37 per boarding pass!!!!! Turns out you have to download an app to retrieve an electronic pass. Well, we didn't know that, and since we were in a foreign country whose airport had no WIFI, we couldn't download the app. We were traveling with friends who had carry on luggages. The carry on luggages were deemed carry on to our destination. When traveling back home, they were no longer deemed carry on and my friends were charged €60 per carry on bag. Ridiculous. In summary between check bag fees and boarding passes we paid triple the amount of th airfare."

No information as to why, no announcements. We waiting for a few minutes on the bus before returning to the gate, again without any notifications. Once back at the gate, they just said to wait for information, but the flight would take off. It eventually did, and the pilot told us what the delay was (air traffic control and weather at the arrival destination), but no one in the terminal let us know that."

I tried to call customer service of UIA to ask what I should do in a case like this do I have to pay for a new ticket or I have any options. I was on phone for more than 20 minutes no one pick up the phone. What if it's an emergency and no one is available it's insane. I came to airport and stuff/employees of airport who are supposedly have to help you and actually take care of you if you are late or at least explain what should I do and where should I go.I was late and I couldn't find the boarding for my flight cause they already finished checking in people. Well I asked one of the employee for help so this lady sent me somewhere through the whole hall to the windows which were already closed I told her that I am super late and I am not going to make it. When I run there everything was closed the window next to it was different airlines but I saw a register girl so I asked for help what should I do my check in is over so the blond lady yelled at me that she is busy and have her things to do this is not nice. I run to the other employee she sent me somewhere else and the line is huge to get to register window and people are mad that I am trying to go in front of them without waiting for my turn I tried to explain that my flight is about to depart. So for my opinion these employees over there mostly don't know their duties they make you run for no reason when I explained my situation somebody should have taken me personally to a right check in window so I can faster get my boarding pass without making other people angry. I am not satisfied with their service in the airport, they are rude and not polite!!!"

Мінуси: "1. They cancelled my flight and offered to fly me out a day earlier or a day later. Not a big deal as it was my vacation, but still annoying. 2. They changed my seat when the boarding started in spite of the fact that I had my boarding pass already. My confirmed seat was 9A and they moved me to 35G, which was the very last row on board and the seat did not fall back, so I spent 12 hours in one rigid position. 3. After the boarding, the plane did not take off for 2 hours without any explanation or apology. As a result, we spent around 12 hours in the plane instead of 10. 4. As a result of the delay, I almost missed my connecting flight. I had 20 minutes to get off the plane, take my new boarding pass for the next flight, and board. I can't describe how stressful and chaotic this all was. Other people also had the same problem and there was a huge line and a huge mess. The airport staff was very disorganized and unhelpful. I had to yell to get any attention and a new boarding pass. And then I had to run to catch my flight. 5. Unfortunately it's not surprising that my luggage did not arrive. It was early morning on Saturday (just past midnight) and my suitcase delivered on Tuesday evening in spite of the fact that there are flights between Kiev and Tbilisi twice every day. The worst is that nobody was giving me any information - Tbilisi airport, Ukrainian Airlines via website (online tracking) or telephone. They did answer my email saying that they will try to find it, but then went silent. The Tbilisi airport speculated that probably my suitcase never boarded the plane in JFK and it might be still stuck in New York. 6. Finally, a number of items were stolen from my suitcase - a handbag and a few pieces of clothes (blouse, tights, underwear). Clothes were brand new and had tags on them, but the bag did not."

Comments about the plane experience is written on what is called the "list" I filled one out. 3.) a charge for baggage under the plane, which was not well explained on the web site, where electronic ticket was bought. I had to go to another office place to pay extra for one bag to go under the plane. Apparently, other people have the same problem. 4.) the check in person was very restrictive of the weight of my carry on, like 7 kilos. I had to take things out of carry on and put into the bag that I had to pay for to put under the plane. It should be inclusive, or price shown with or without under the plane bag. The bag empty weighs almost 5 kilos, should be at least 10 kilos. 5.) much improvement is suggested, but not enough other choices."

The first thing he did was to say that I had 2 kilos overweight on my cabin bag, even before checking if I was booked on the 20.00 flight to Prague yet. And this is the exactly same cabin bag which I was carrying on the way from Prague to Kiev, its a camera bag with a tripad on the side (which at the check in in Prague the woman said was ok) . So I had to ask him if I was booked on the flight or not, since I didnt see the flight on the "departures" screen which made me a bit worried. Then he first said that I was not booked on the flight, but changed his mind immediately. But I did not receive any information from him that the flight was delayed with 50 minutes, I found out that after doing the security check. Not the smoothest service, but I think the guy was totally new so he was maybe a bit nervous. Thanks / M"

Also there are no escalators or lifts at the Odesa airport, so be prepared to carry your bags up the stairs, onto buses, up more stairs, etc."
