Upon arrival at the IST terminal gate, I exited quickly and was met at the end of the runway by a Turkish Airlines customer service rep, permitting me to transit directly to the transit lounge, rather than sending me back through security yet again. As she looked at my boarding pass for the next flight, she knew who I was and she sent me directly to the proper gate for my next flight. Turkish Airlines, you ROCK! (My bag even made the connection!)"

I was forced to purchase a visa, go through passport processing, and purchase a new ticket that cost nearly as much as my entire round trip ticket from the US. I then had to pay to stay overnight in a hotel and had to make alternate arrangements to meet my hosts when I finally reached my destination."

I liked the wide selection of movies to watch and I liked the way that we could see our flight from a camera under the plane. That was a first for me and I thought it was interesting to view the monitor from time to time."

Access to the lounge was given finally after I produced my physical Gold card even though I gave them my UA number. There are no ticketing agents in the Istanbul Airport within the secured area. I was not comfortable going outside security and then back again through security to upgrade my ticket. Agents at Turkish Airlines CIP NOT helpful."

You can buy overpriced food and beverage onboard. My purchase from the duty free was stolen and they didn't help me handle the problem. Awful experience."

When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. Although I recall reading that it will cost if you check in the airport- so most likely my error. No facility or button to print boarding pass once checked in. No contact us button - I would like to change seat I booked for return but cannot see how to do this on line."

After no help from him, I was able to figure out that we did have them as attachments. Never again."

After checking in we scanned our passports using the machines and then we were in what I thought was the boarding area so we relaxed and waited by the screens in a coffee shop. But when our flight gate was announced there was another passport control to get into those gates with a big line which threatened to delay our boarding. There wasn't enough room for everyone to put their bags in the overhead locker which meant there were even more delays and it felt a bit rushed to get off. When we arrived I was queuing down the stairs to get to the queue for passport control which took about 45-60 minutes to get through with no toilets. I was also charged 40 euros per person for not checking in and printing the boarding pass which is my fault, but the charges do seem excessive."

Плюси: "From clealininess of the planes to the professional and sincere approach of the cabin crew, Pegasus is by far the best budget airline I have ever flown in the world. Their in flight menu prices are much affordable compared to most European airports (water is cheaper on the flight, compared to Berlin airport for example) For these prices, and this quality, they are uncompeted. I really hope they can maintain these cheap prices all the time."

All infos are in Turkish, it should be easier to change language from the main page. Water on board 2 and Coffee 3 euros. At the end, the price ended as expensive as a direct flight and good service from any airline."

In both of my flights between Istanbul and Amsterdam, the airplane was not cleaned off of the previous flight's trash. When I was seated in my first flight to Amsterdam, my tray had a lot of stains of food and drinks. Not a pleasant sight! In my flight back to Istanbul, I had to travel looking at a former passenger's waste, such as a used napkin tissue, stuck to the handle of the seat, and a chocolate package. I also have to say that the sinks of the bathrooms do not drain properly, so you, actually, cannot leave the place clean for the next person. All in all, this company definitely needs to work on the cleanliness of their aircraft. Thank you!"
