Nothing you guys book me the wrong flight and I have to run around until I find my right plane

Only the flying part was okay. They have not served food to two of us in the Doha to Hyderabad flight They told that they are not aware of our food requirements We had to travel without food

Only had fish option for food. I am allergic to fish and there was no veg option

Tight connection and first flight was late, so we got bumped off our connection (they literally removed our names from the flight, even though we could've sprinted through the airport and made it if they waived the 20 minute before departure gate closure). It was an exhausting and long wait for the next flight and I did not think it was well-handled. Staying in a hotel is not a great option, because it takes 2 hours to get out of the airport, another 2 hours cushion to get back in time."

Мінуси: "There are couple things. First of all, it was cold almost for everyone: everyone used a blanket, and some people asked for a second blanket. Secondly, I think that if this airline became the best airline in 2017, staff should care about their passengers’ stuff more than they do, so backpacks or suitcases don't lose parts or get crushed during flights. When I got my backpack back, I thought that someone had used it to play football. My backpack had lost some parts, and some pieces of it were torn!"

I’m not sure flight with such short connections should be sold at all - with the previous flight being late 20 minutes, we were met at arrival gate by Qatar airlines employee that told us our connecting flight left without us. They helped us with everything onward- getting new boarding passses, hotel and meal vouchers, but all of this should not have been needed if such short connections were not sold."

I’m a lean guy and even I wasn’t full! The quality of the food in the second service was awful. My rice wasn’t cooked all the way & the bread was clearly stale."

Fortunately, cabin crew member was kind enough to give me a regular Hindu veggie meal rather than my pre-selected Vegetarian Jain meal (VJML) - DO NOT CHOOSE VJML on Qatar, unless you wanna faint from the horrible food! The tray was dirty! Co-passengers in the row behind me were also complaining The audio lead of my headphone would not go into the outlet in the seat armrest! So I had to use audio from neighboring (empty) seat and sync it with video from screen for my seat. What a pain!"

It was a complete disaster. So, the 1:10hrs between Cluj and Istambul is not enough for an US flight. You guys must schedule more time so people can get to the US plane on time. The Airline is amazing, good food, good crew, great sits, but please work on this schedule because it's so exhausting to stay an additional 11 hours on the road."

Мінуси: "First flight (to Istanbul) delayed, and nobody cared to help with making connecting flight booked on the same Turkish Airlines (THY)! Different THY employees sent me to three (3) different places (with two suitcases in hand) at opposite ends of the huge Istanbul airport before finally pointing to the Business Lounge and causing my missing the connection. Had they directed me correctly and cared about my first delay, I would not have missed it. I lost the first-night pay at the hotel of my final destination, my friends lost their time and money on making trips to pick me up, my ailing relatives were in pieces worrying about me, and so on. In sum, a fun trip (NOT!) ... If you care for some details, here you go... They did not inform their own connecting flight about my delay. Despite issuing me a boarding pass, nobody was looking for me or announcing where I should go. I spent an hour running around the airport at THY employees' misdirections. Business Lounge revealed I was already issued a ticket for next morning's flight (without informing me via my email they had or otherwise). I then looked at their own monitor and saw a much earlier flight the same night on a partner airline. I had to point to that flight, and they issued me a ticket there. No apology, no offer of any compensation. I understand that flights may delay, and I could forgive an honest mistake in misdirection. But this was a wide-spread incompetence and utter unwillingness to help their own business class (!) customer. I can only imagine what pains the economy travelers had to endure! Just to give you a flavor, after realizing that my connecting flight was boarding (when my delayed first flight arrived in Istanbul), I asked the crew to direct me to the best route to my connection. They pointed to the gate personnel. The gate personnel who greeted us DID NOT KNOW about my connection and sent me to the opposite side of the airport without notifying the connecting flight to wait for me. No help/transport was offered. When I made my way to the connecting gate with my luggage, the flight was gone. Nobody to be found from THY around the gate. A neighboring THY gate's employee directed me to the "Care Point" desk far away. A sizable line emerged there, with only two agents working it. I asked one of them if business class was served there. They said, "Yes, get in line, please". After 30 minutes in that line, I approached a "Care Point" agent (a cruel name for no-care-whatsoever service) who told me "You need to go to the business class desk upstairs. Economy only here!" No apology, no expression of concern, yelling "Next!" when I told her that I wasted 30 minutes of valuable time in line at their direction and would appreciate her doing something to help or making sure I reach the right person. Off to the "business desk" I go... another 15-min. run in a different direction with luggage in hand. That desk could not help either...ARGHH. Do I need to continue?.."

Мінуси: "First, the Boeing Executives need to be punished by having to fly in the Economy section of their airplanes. Second, Turkish Airlines (a wonderful company) must impose hygiene requirements for their passengers. I sat next to a man that had insane body odor and when I let the Flight Attendant know she kindly reseated me... It was great until I saw the poor woman who took my place ALSO asked to be reseated due to the man's smell! Unfortunately, I was reseated in the middle of the row, which apparently is by Boeing design, none of the middle seats recline. Who makes an aircraft that handles long (13 hour) hauls with seats that do not recline and are too narrow for the average adult? It was such a painful and uncomfortable 13 hour flight. To add insult to injury, the plane was delayed and I missed my connection and had to sit in Istanbul airport for almost 8 hours."

On the other hand, having a pleasant and respectful flight crew can make a tremendous difference in the passengers experience. We were lucky enough to have a flight attendant named Gulhan Who smiled the entire flight. She was professional, courteous, and service oriented. Most of the flight crew showed similar professionalism. Turkish Airlines had for better service then any of the American or European airlines I have encountered during the last 10 years."

Мінуси: "They give you very little leg room. The seat in front of you touches your knees. After 8 hours in the same position it feels like you are stuck in a coffin or a primatial medieval torture device. The seat begins to hurt your back. You can't get in a comfortable position. You can't turn left or right. There's a little foot rest that gives you 10 minutes of relief but then that gets uncomfortable. If one of the people seated in with the inner row needs to use the restroom then the whole row needs to get up. It's cruel and unusual punishment. The airline just needs to expand the rows by 6 inches. Before you go bring a neck pillow and a butt cushion. Or better yet, pick a seat located in a front section that gives you more leg room. If you have the option then this should be a higher priority over a window seat. You will thank me for this advice."

Плюси: "So I never actually flew with Turkish this trip, but I can write about my rerouting experiences. Inbound my first connection to Istanbul was cancelled due to technical problems. Fortunately I was second in the ticket office line and was promptly rebooked with Lufthansa. My return flight was cancelled because of the coup, and again I was rebooked with Lufthansa."
Мінуси: "Overall Turkish Airlines did well in a difficult situation. But a few concerns. On my inbound flight, the agent servicing us was amazing and I was fortunate to be second in line, but the airline was ill prepared for the situation and the agent was being hung out to dry by his colleagues who kept calling him and wouldn't let him do his job. On the return flight, I was frustrated the agents at first pushed me to take a refund rather than letting me rebook with a partner. I ended up having to leave a day later than expected, and didn't get an itinerary till the morning after my original flight. This was all very stressful. Lastly, you have to think twice about flying through Turkey. Although this coup is over, the next crisis will be over whether President Erdogan creeping authoritarianism."

I need an aisle seat and JUST ASSUMED when the check in person at LAX; tore up our pre-boarding checkin with seat assignments that I was given an AISLE SEAT. I WAS NOT AND DID NOT KNOW UNTIL WE BOARDED. THE GENTLEMAN ON THE AISLE DID NOT WANT TO CHANGE. WE WARNED HIM THAT WE GET UP AT LEAST 3 - 4 TIMES ON A 12 HR FLIGHT. Also seats were cramped compared to other airline planes and staff seemed to not have an issue that there were some other people on the plane drinking bottles, getting drunk and loud."

The entertainment was awesome with a wide selection of movies, tv and music options. I was even able to watch the primary debates LIVE from my seat which was amazing. The crew was amazing and very attentive. They made sure to provide us with whatever we needed and were always polite. This was the second time I have flown with Turkish Airlines and my experience was the same if not better this time around."

Мінуси: "I was thrown into despair by the refusal of TA officials to help me in any way. I paid the full price of the flight but the officials of the airline were very unresponsive and unhelpful. I was delayed to the airport due to traffic and they refused to help me in any way. I have flown with this airline in the past and the airline was always kind and accommodating, but not so this time! I lost $1.1K for the initial fare and then had to purchase a separate $2.3K ticket to reach my destination. Absolutely NO other airline has been so dismissive to me. I fly United all the time, and they are worst by US standards, and yet (I never thought I would say this) United has always helped MUCH better than this airline! I called customer service and could barely understand their English, not to mention that they didn't care at all to help me. I lost $3.3K because of this airline. It was the worst travel nightmare of my life, and I have been to 50+ countries!"
