In all waited around at the airport for more than 10 hours before we were finally carted off to a small hotel near by at 1230am in the morning. Very little to no information given throughout the whole process, stranded with parched throats, no luggage, clean clothes or toothbrush."

When I passenger has a concern over personal safety, and in the aftermath of a large scale lapse in security at their main hub, they should be more understanding and not stand by their arbitrary 7 day rule."

We felt too intimidated to ask any more. Also our mileage points for this sector of our travel were not booked to our KrisFlyer accounts so wondering if she did not capture at check in."

The manner in which we were treated was not befitting a professional organization (we landed in Kiev around 7:30 or 8 PM - we weren't given information regarding our delay or a hotel until well past midnight). Second, the plane from Ukraine to Bangkok was the oldest, dirtiest, most decrepit plane I've ever seen, and I've done quite a bit of flying in the past few years. Also, the leg space was nonexistent - it's unacceptable to have such little leg space on an almost 10 hour flight. Also, the food was quite poor but it was airplane food so I had no expectations there."

They provided a link to the airline site that listed baggage fees and the first bag (up to 50 lbs) will be free for the economy class ticket. However, at the check in I was told that I have to pay extra for each piece of luggage ($50). It wouldn't be a problem had I known that from the beginning. KAYAK let me believe that I'm buying a regular fare ticket and would be allowed a first piece of luggage for free."

As if knowing I would not make it. It's odd to me how they found 2 suitcases in piles of them that were supposed to be on the plane already heading to riga and Yet had no time to let me board. Even after all that no compensation, apology or even concern was made after I ran my way through the airport hoping to catch my flight, shaking from exhaustion and in tears. They have the poorest customer service I have ever experienced as they sat there for 15 minutes hearing them yelling at customers and shrugging away their concerns meanwhile ignoring my questions on what to do as they passed our boarding passes around with no answers. The only one I felt more sorry for than us was a pregnant lady with 4 kids they made go through the same situation and an older gentleman they refused to help because he didn't have a way to book online so they told him it wasn't their problem. I have never felt such anger at something I had no control over. $300 taken from my rent money i had put away I had to book a new flight just to be able to get to my final destination."

They changed my seat when the boarding started in spite of the fact that I had my boarding pass already. My confirmed seat was 9A and they moved me to 35G, which was the very last row on board and the seat did not fall back, so I spent 12 hours in one rigid position. 3. After the boarding, the plane did not take off for 2 hours without any explanation or apology. As a result, we spent around 12 hours in the plane instead of 10. 4. As a result of the delay, I almost missed my connecting flight. I had 20 minutes to get off the plane, take my new boarding pass for the next flight, and board. I can't describe how stressful and chaotic this all was. Other people also had the same problem and there was a huge line and a huge mess. The airport staff was very disorganized and unhelpful. I had to yell to get any attention and a new boarding pass. And then I had to run to catch my flight. 5. Unfortunately it's not surprising that my luggage did not arrive. It was early morning on Saturday (just past midnight) and my suitcase delivered on Tuesday evening in spite of the fact that there are flights between Kiev and Tbilisi twice every day. The worst is that nobody was giving me any information - Tbilisi airport, Ukrainian Airlines via website (online tracking) or telephone. They did answer my email saying that they will try to find it, but then went silent. The Tbilisi airport speculated that probably my suitcase never boarded the plane in JFK and it might be still stuck in New York. 6. Finally, a number of items were stolen from my suitcase - a handbag and a few pieces of clothes (blouse, tights, underwear). Clothes were brand new and had tags on them, but the handbag did not."

I was told that from TLV to KIEV they don't have Business service (which is not true) and if I wanted business from Kiev to JFK I should request it in Kiev. In Kiev they told me that I was supposed to request and pay outside the gate area. In other words I would have to go out and recheck. I would have missed my connection. You should make it more clear for people that want to upgrade."

They only provide blankets, no pillows. The movies on the 2 TVs in the middle section of the plane had Chinese subtitles. In other words, I will never fly with this airline again."
