Мінуси: "The Soviet Union wants its airline back. This was perhaps the RUDEST airline experience I've ever experienced. I was at Frankfurt (FRA) airport waiting to board Air Moldova Flight 864 to Chisinau (KIV). Due to a delay caused by Frankfurt security (and no fault of my own), I was delayed in reaching the gate. Since it was past my boarding time, I grabbed my bags from the conveyor belt once past security without having time to repack. I arrived at the gate and the extremely rude Air Moldova gate agent on duty yelled at me and demanded that I give her my boarding pass. When I told her I needed to pack, she yelled that there was “no time for that”. When I searched for my pass, she again yelled and said “NOW!”. When I told her that it was not my fault that I arrived late since there was a delay at security, she said “Not my problem!”. After she checked my boarding pass, I tried to repack and she again yelled “There is no time. Go to the bus NOW!” I once again told her that it was not my fault I got delayed and she again yelled “NOT MY PROBLEM”. In addition to rude employees, the airline is clearly in violation of safety regulations. The safety card in the back seat pocket was written in ARMENIAN – and Armenian only, thanks to the plane having been leased and Air Moldova not appropriately changing the safety cards. How did they expect people who read Romanian or Russian (the local languages) or English to understand it! On top of that, the plane was easily 20 years old or more and dirty. If they can't even keep a plane clean or have the appropriate safety cards, what else are they not maintaining. Do not fly this terrible airline!"

Ten Euro meal compensation was severely inadequate to cover dinner and breakfast. Very dissatisfied."

In particular I thought my bag would not make the connection, and as I was going on to Perugia that evening and it would have been a big mess. At check-in for the Rome flight, the LH lady was able to confirm my bag was already aboard which put me at ease. It came through very quickly in Rome and I arrived in Perugia on time and with my bag! Food from Bogota was tasty and there was a complimentary snack on flight to Rome."

Lufthansa already gives Silver Star Alliance card holders preferential seats, but for the Montreal flight I got upgraded to Business. What a pleasure! I felt like a really valued customer. At a time where one has to pick value for money and figure out your loyalties in air travel; I can promise that Lufthansa will be a top choice for me on future flights. Excellent in all regards."

None of these things were done as were booked even when presented with confirmation number provided by the central booking office. I know planes get hit by lightning on average of once a year, but it typically does not take 3 to 4 hours to inspect and confirm the safety of the plane's electrical system. But perhaps better safe than sorrry!"

Very frustrated"

It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"
Мінуси: "bag measure frames in Riga airport used for aB are smaller than in most airports, as a results we were asked to check some bags in at the last moment. we have had connecting flight through Riga with two hand bags. lets call them big and small. judge by yourself: flight, aircraft, small, big ->Riga CS3, on board, on board Riga-> DHC 8-400, on board, check in ->Riga DHC 8-400, on board, on board Riga-> CS3, check in, check in as you see, the same bags on the same aircraft were allowed or disallowed by the same company based on weather one flies to Riga or from it. i believe there is absolutely no purpose for doing last second interruptions of such kind"

"Not writing it clearly and visible at the time of ticket purchase" is certainly tricking and misleading us. This is a crime!"

I learned my lesson and pay extra to use the priority check in line, as well as boarding. Otherwise you end up staying in a VERY long line. This time I was bumped from the seat that I picked when booking my flight, which was still assigned to me when I checked in online. No explanation or heads-up, I was just handed a paper boarding pass when I checked my bag, and only after I was past security line I realized that I was bumped from row 4 to row 10. I was able to get a seat in row 4 again at the gate, but not the same seat. Also, there was no priority boarding, even though I paid for it. Мінуси: "For people who have Airbaltic as a connecting flight this might be very inconvenient. We paid 40 Eur/person each way for our luggage . That brings the price that you pay so much higher than you expect at first. Also if you don't print boarding pass ahead of time which we didn't (plus still needed to drop off checked luggage and check our passports) they want to charge you 30 Eur a person to print that drinking piece of paper. If you don't want to pay that get out of the line with all of you luggage, go to kiosk and print it, then come back to the line. But that's companies rules , employees just have to follow it. Another problem was their attitude. The guy who got our luggage was so weird. Showing off and talking to us like a boss. After giving us boarding passes he said we can go to the screen and look up the gate ourselves. I never write long reviews but man! they got me mad that day. Never say never - but I don't want to fly with this airline again"

I decided to get to the counter and the person charged me US$ 35 euros only for checking me in (even though their app had problems to check in). They charged me in total US$ 100 for checking in and checking my luggage. The service was terrible, especially from the person at the counter. In addition to all that, my luggage did not arrive to the final destination and was lost for an entire week. Every time I called the airline, they were charging me per minute even though they were the ones who lost my suitcase."

The second plane was so old that It was very difficult to open the overhead storage compartments. Both planes rocked side to side during takeoff and landing. I couldn't figure out how to check baggage online through Kayak, and it cost €40 at the airport. It got me where I needs to go, but with the baggage fees, it turned out to be about the same price as other airlines, and I wouldn't recommend the planes for people with any flying anxiety."

To pray it doesn't come back to me damaged? To their credit, it did not..."

Customer service phone call also costs a quid a minute. It's almost as if they are proud that they screw you if you encounter any difficulty or you've made a mistake in the complicated boarding pass emailing procedure."

Мінуси: "The price of my ticket had nothing low cost. It was $300 for a one way Rome - Paris. Since I never fly with Ryan air, I had no idea you had to check in online. Otherwise they charge you a 55 euro fee for a normal check in at the airport. It’s written in very small letters at the end of the confirmation email they send you. You obviously don’t see it unless you scroll down 10 times all the way to the bottom of the email. This is called a rip off. This should be mentioned all the way at the top near the confirmation number. So I had no choice but paying that fee. I’m sure I’m not the first person this happened to. These thieves must make a lot of money with this. The other bad surprise was that the arrival airport was so far from the center of the city, I paid 120 euros with Uber to get home versus 45 euros when flying into the main Paris airports. Overall, it becomes the same price than flying with Air France."

After having a very rude interaction with two different people. One even said "don't tell me how to do my job." Then when I got on the plane there was plenty of room for my backpack. The floor was incredibly dirty with chips on all over the ground. We then sat on the tarmac for half an hour. I could not believe how rude the check in crew was, they would not even listen to me explain that I had put the exact same backpack under my seat two days ago. Completely absurd."

Their website did not allow downloading of the boarding pass on the phone and I was charged a 15 Euro fee for "checking in" at the airport when I had already checked in online. I will not be flying with this airline again, the other airlines are cheaper when considering all the ridiculous fees and poor customer service."

Staff was welcoming and flight was comfortable. Not a reflection of employees. 100% reflection of upper management."

The flight was just horrible! Such an unfortunate bad experience with Ryanair! Will never fly with them ever again. Now I see why the flight was so cheap!"
