At the gate, that partner airline's reps (or Istanbul airport employees -- not sure) yelled at me that I had too much to carry on board and forced me to hastily check a bag with personal items I did not plan on checking. Needless to say, that also delayed my reaching the final destination even further because I had to wait for the luggage and it was already 1:00 in the morning in an unfamiliar and rough foreign city."

Мінуси: "What a mess!A woman was changing her baby's diaper by the food service area. A group of passagers lyed their babies on the floor to sleep and floor was full of food crumbs. Flight attendant were incapable of keeping passangers undercontrol. Food service was so poor. Going abroad they run out of fish almost after serving 50 passangers and we had no other options but pasta with cheese sauce. Attitude was 'you either eat or don't'. This has happaned twice flying out of US. Flight attendant said 'fish wasn't good anyways and food is much better on return flights'. On my return flight they once again run out the dinner with meat and I was served this time eggplant with rice. They served all the passangers but five row back from the exit doors and few row below from the restrooms received service 30-40min later. Others has already ate and their trays were taken away. By the time they served us my food was cold. Two scoup of rice on the plate was raw and the bread was stale. When I told the flight attendant she said 'she will let her supervisor know' but no body came to talk to me nor offered anything else to eat. Altough I have seen one passenger who got upset been served rice with eggplant received a service later with chicken which wasn't in the menu. Another passanger received two menus at once. Flight attandants are incompetant"

I flew with my 3 yo and the stuff kept spoiling him with goodie bags. On the way there (it was overnight flight) I'll give it 5 out of 5 and on the way back - it was a bit cold on the flight, it might be just me, however. The food also seemed better on the way to Turkey; on the way back I found myself hungry more often and the food was not as good (day flight). Excellent, will definitely fly again, just for the service and the experience!!"

Мінуси: "The connecting flight departed before the first flight landed. Then I was given the wrong information of gate departure by airport personnel. After running like crazy to find this gate for departure, the plane had already departed before we even landed. There wasn’t anyone around to help, and finally I found an airport worker who gave me the same incorrect information. She was as perplexed as was I. Finally, she directed me to the information booth where I was booked in a flight the next day. The food voucher was insufficient to cover dinner, i had to pay out of my pocket but I was frugal given the financial situation. The taxi service personnel were rude and it took a long time to taxi me to the hotel where I am unable to sleep because I have an early morning g departure. All in all, between the airport delays getting me to the hotel, lack of proper food and treatment by personnel, I am exhausted and lost sleep in the process."

Food quality was poor as well. during booking there was not an option to indicate dietary requirements either. not impressed with austrian air overall."

I had not asked the first time drinks were served since I knew I wanted orange juice. he second time, and not wanted to drink the same, I asked: what do you have? and her answer was: "Same as before". I had to let her know I had not asked before and then she proceeded to tell me the different drinks and finally added: My colleague will take care of you. She did not want to serve me. The first incident went I tried to use the bathroom in the back of the plane, she would tell people: "don"t use that one, I need that bathroom for......." ( not sure for what but her tone was so rude,that people walked to the other bathroom embarrassed). All I can say is that everything else was great, including the friendliness of all other crew, but that one ruined the experience. A third time I got up to walk to the bathroom and the seatbelt sign was on, but so it had been for a long time. She prompted me to go back to my seat. All others seem to do their job without been rude, Not sure why this one couldn't. Job stress? Not the passenger's problem. Besides that and the poor movie choices, everything else was great. I think the flight was delayed but to that point everything was going so smooth, I didn't even notice. I will fly Austrian again, and would love to visit Vienna. Please advise how to add the miles of my trip to my account. I booked in Kayak, left to Ohio from Miami running from hurricane Irma, my return from Ohio to Miami was cancelled and I had to embark on that long plan10 day trip without even returning home to Miami to pack. I totally forgot about putting the miles on my account on either ticket counter."

No luggage until yesterday.It never happen before.But in top of everything my plans in Albania were messed up.I have to pospne my return flight 1 week and the charges are unbelievable tooo much 650 dollars.I am not stopping here.Thank you."

LHR-VIE was late; we ran and arrived in time catch VIE-KSC before it left, but Austrian Air would not allow us to board, despite that the other part of our travel party was already on the plane and alerted both gate staff and on-board staff we were coming and wee had to play a show that night with Arch Enemy. We had to wait 10 hours in VIE & given €12 for food. AA cited "rotational issues". Shockingly, Austrian Air delayed the 2nd flight by another hour "to wait for someone". We had to cancel the show. Really angry"

Sleep would be possible if there were enough room to rest one's head on the tray in front of the seat. This is impossible if the person in front of one's seat has reclined his or her seat. Thus, sleep is totally impossible on this aircraft. The sinks in the bathrooms also need to be deeper and need to drain more quickly."

Whoo have been there for the long haul and should have stopped ages ago."

To be fair, rest of flight was pleasant although late due in part to boarding issues."

The seatrs were the most uncomfortable I have ever beeon on for a long flight. I also paid extra to be in the exit row, to have people constantly congregating in front of us."

Bad communication with the client. They told us when I asked several times that we would not lose our connection and that everything was fine and that was not the case. We lost the connection. No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. Without that tickets we can not claim the bags. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

(They offered an in-flight credit, but I'd paid for premium exit row seat and had to choose between moving to working system in crowded middle seat or keep premium, exit seat. I decided to have them move me to a seat with a working entertainment system, which were available and they'd offered, but never happened.) When I got home, I discovered the gift I purchased with in-flight credit and my own money wasn't the one I'd requested from Duty Free catalog so now I have to figure out how to solve this problem. (COULDN'T GET IT RIGHT.) Premium exit row seat was narrow, due to in-seat tray table & entertainment system, but seatbelt mounts and thinly padded seat made it even more uncomfortable on a long flight."

Мінуси: "Ryanair acted like a dust Stucker of money. Not only on the way forward they forbidded only flights from Israel (!) to bring any hand luggage at all without purchasing the priority boarding, and people were allowed with a small hand bag only (since the priority tickets finished) , but on the way backwards, after the entire airplane bought the priority ticket, the crew of ryanair acted in such a discriminating way and banned people that exceeded the bag check with less than 2 cm! It seems like the crew were determined to collect at many 50euro fines as possible from the passenger because they insisted very impolitly and brutally to measure each luggage from all possible sides, and even the luggage that fitted, they found excuses to fail them. I've rarely experienced such humiliating vision, especially due to the fact that everyone were forced to purchase the extra priority boarding and you'd expect the company to try and keep the customers, not drive them away. I can just say that with all the fines and extra payments requested by them, the total price of the flight was 100euro more expensive than the price of El AL or alitalia, same timing and with a meal and big suitcase included. All this, without mentioning the bad attitude of the crew and the extreme uncomfortability of the chairs (also purchased, obviously). To summarize, this was a very bad choice, with I will not repeat again."

All their rules must be followed precisely or you'll pay through the nose. After painstaking finding the right sized roller bags and under seat sack and making sure I was well within the weight limit, they never measured or weighed either of them. I also saw plenty of carry-on luggage way bigger than mine come on board and go into the overhead bins just fine. Kind of pissed me off. The price to check bags is SO SO high, but with the limited weight you can take in the carry-on, you almost have to check a bag unless you're doing a short 3-5 day trip."

I paid for my son when we were flying out but when coming back l refused to pay. Guess what happened they allocated my 22 year old to sit on the emergency exit. The crew then came to me asking if l could swap seats with my son as he was not allowed to sit there as if it was me who had allocated him that seat. If it was the other way round they would have asked me to pay. When it suits them."

Мінуси: "It was not clearly stated anywhere that a boarding pass must be printed beforehand, as most companies allow use of mobile passes or downloading of the boarding pass onto the phone. Their website did not allow downloading of the boarding pass on the phone and I was charged a 15 Euro fee for "checking in" at the airport when I had already checked in online. I will not be flying with this airline again, the other airlines are cheaper when considering all the ridiculous fees and poor customer service."

This causes frustration but Ryan Air only added to that tenfold. They nickel and dime their customers for everything including charging 62 Euro for in person check in. They then charge for overweight and oversized bags but these are based on their unorthodox weight and size restrictions. The worst part of all of this is that after going through 3 lines, you then find out your bag is too big and are forced to go back to the gate agent to start the process over. The flight left late because of these delays. This airline is a joke and I would not recommend flying with them to my worst enemy!"

The landing of the plane was also the worst I have ever experienced. Everything was so unorganized and uncomfortable about this flight and airline. NEVER traveling with Ryanair and will recommend to all friends and family to avoid Ryanair."

No information was given regarding this. We got on the plane at about 8.10pm and it took off at 8.30pm, 50 minutes later than the squeduled time."

They've purposely made it a cm or so smaller to trouble those w hard case carry ons. Some other races walked w bags the same size as ours."
Мінуси: "The crew at Rome ciampino airport bullied two families in a racist manner. The woman at the baggage measurement. No apologies given. She pushed the door close that hurt my father badly and he didn't stop bleeding till later onflight."

Мінуси: "Not used to flying this airline. Their business practice calls for 45 euros/passenger check in fee if not done online prior. With 4 of us traveling, that just added 180 euros. Then, one of our carry-ons was deemed too big, had to be checked-in for another 50 Euros. The flight was not full and the carry-on could have easily fit in the cabin where there was plenty of space left. Overall the staff felt sorry, knew it was an expensive proposition to just have a piece of paper (i.e. boarding pass), and late checked in suitcase. We will certainly avoid Ryannair all we can when traveling in Europe next time around."

Problem paying for checked bag online (did not go thru) so had to pay higher fee at airport. All this caused delay and rush to not miss flight. Not familiar with Ryan Air M.O. Not informed till 2 days before flight of online check in requirements. Not told could check in 30 days ahead-so could not print passes at home in US before travel. Did not know would have to enter and exit plane via stairs with large carry-on. Ryan Air should be more up front about extra charges incurred if you don't follow their protocol-esp. for first time users. Now know and will not fly with them again. Ended up costing as much or more than flying Aer Lingus Bristol to Dublin would have."
