No one told us anything. Another problem was that the girl in the boarding process removed the suitcases tickets from the boarding pass and did not want to return them, and held it without any cause. The flight staff went looking for us. Pretty sad and disappointed by their service. I understand that they were causes outside the airline but must communicate to the client. They cannot remain silent and say nothing."

Looking forward to next week's hip replacement and future travels with United."

Two of my flights were cancelled last minute with little to no remorse, and I had to wait 2 days to catch the next flight. That flight was even delayed more than an hour. I was sick by time I reached my destination. Overall, United would not be my 1st choice due to bad experiences numerous times."

They should at least have plastic gauzes or fragile stickers to put on the bags. I don't know the reason but the flight attendants left about the last 6 rows of passengers without pretzels or drinks. There was no device to view movies. Leg space too tight."

Crew admitted in latest redesign of planes they've managed to squeeze another six seats in coach. My seat wouldn't go back but even if it did, would feel too guilty for person behind to do it - so little legroom on newer planes. They've also cut down on restrooms so for most of the flight there was a line of 5-6 people waiting in the aisle. American Airlines seems to have older planes but at least decent legroom (and I'm not tall - anybody over 5'10 would have to sit at an angle on new United planes!). Been very impressed by Delta's service lately. United feels more like Spirit"

The two hour delay caused almost half the plane to miss their connecting flights, myself included, and now my carry-on bag with my phone charger, clothes, toothbrush, Cologne, and basically everything I needed, was on its way to my final destination while I was not. The airline gave me vouchers for a hotel and two meals, $10 each, and a plane ticket that I couldn't use cause I had important appointments and meetings to be at, so I had to spend $177 to get a one-way car rental back home."

Already frustrated, and with my knees hitting the seat in front of me because the seats are too close together, a flight attendant scolded me when I dared put my leg in the aisle (which I often do on other airlines without incident). Once on the ground, I went straight to United's baggage office to see if my bag had followed me, and encountered two of the rudest people, cutting me off whenever I said anything more than they needed to enter into their computer. If your job is in customer service, be friendly, apologize when things go wrong, understand that your customers are your reason for being in business, and be helpful."

They first announced a 20 min delay, followed by another 30 min, then 30 more and then 30 more than then 30 more! They basically kept us at the gate for 2 1/2 hours until the found another plane. For a business like United, and flying out of their hub this is completely unacceptable. We ended up leaving at 11pm for a flight scheduled at 8. They didnt give anything in the plane to make up for it. No food, no free wifi, nothing."
