Мінуси: "I have traveled extensively but I have never seen a staff more rude than Emirates. I had a connecting flight at Dubai Airport and there was 8 hours waiting time. At the gate I was connecting for Islamabad, there was not a single seating arrangement. When I complained about it to emirates desk, the staff was extremely rude. Such arrogance and an attitude that you instantly abhor. In my opinion, these Emirates people are most racist people in the world. The way they treat passengers from developing countries is vile. Even onboard, they treat 'white' passengers much differently than they would for a brown skin. I would never fly Emirates again. I plan to write against them in some leading newspaper for being racist. If people like us stay quiet and injustice and humiliating attitude they have against us, we will continue to suffer. I can pay a higher price for any other airline but I decline to ever fly with Emirates at the expense of my dignity."

Over the years their service has decreased but the 1 meal and sub-par snack I got for an 8.5hr flight was poor, likened to a budget airline. This is the second flight recently I've been on that the drinks come so long after the meal you don't even get to enjoy your cola with the meal. The first food cart should have colas if there won't be another cart to come along until 30+ minutes later. I also expected Emirates to provide an eye patch, an 8 hr+ flight in the night time hours in worthy of an eyepatch. Budget airlines do not provide this, but I expected Emirates to. Lastly, I don't think it's necessary to hand out a menu indicating there is something to look forward to when the food is of quite poor standards for Emirates, standard for all other airlines. Maybe the Durban to Dubai route stocks he flights with less experienced crew, this is the impression I got; a much less refined group of people on the plane."

I was offered upgrade to business class from economy for $1000 USD which was well worth the cost as the 15 1/2 flight can be tough in economy. The a380 is smooth, much more quiet and is pressurized to lower altitude than most planes so you do get off feeling more refreshed. Service and food were good and the inflight entertainment is first class with hundreds of movies on demand."

Much to my chagrin, an Indian woman had two howling urchins one row in front of me. These howling urchins proceeded to scream their lungs out for 11 of the 13 hours of the flight!! One of the babies was so small, it looked like she had just pushed the critter out earlier that day!! Had they told the Indian woman to drive or swim to Dubai, the ratings would've have been excellent. I did not pay good money to have to sit in a NURSERY!!!!!"

Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."

Lauderdale to New York was much more pleasant."

He alerted the driver, called the boarding gate and led me to it."

The fact that I was not able to select a seat, nor did I have one assigned to me until prior to an hour before boarding, gave me a bit of anxiety. We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."

Seat assignment - flying with my daughter were assigned seats at opposite sides of the plane, when asked for change was told that there were no 2 seats available together which proved to be not true when after boarding was complete."

Bags finally arrived on Monday at 9AM Without clothes, toiletries and medications for 6 nights. Now I am delayed and will probably have to pay rebuke and fare change to extend my stay here."

So I wonder why the crew cannot travel earlier to airport taking into account potential traffic jams. Knowingly I trvaelled to the airport about 2.5h before departure and made it perfectly on time to the airport, even though working in the morning, whereas the crew couldnt make it. maybe Lufthansa should change their crew hotel policy in particular for towns with notorious traffic jams like Kiev.."

Плюси: "I flew round-trip in Business Class from Munich to Kiev and then back to Germany via Frankfort and both flights were on time. The dedicated business class check-in line and advance boarding process was smooth - as were both flights. The cabin crew on both flights were very good and all spoke English well. My chief complaint is with the European Business Class seating model (3 across with center seat empty) - which does not afford much more leg room or seat pitch than in economy class. On the plus side you don't have to get in a fist-fight with anyone over the overhead bin storage problem since there are less people in business class and hence more storage space."

Мінуси: "KLM had bumped us to a later flight for no reason and again we had to call with a long wait to get our original connection restored, However, we did not get boarding passes during checking in Europe and thus had to go outside security in Detroit to the main check-in gate and wait 30 minutes to get the error resolved. Then it was back thorough security and a rush to the gate to get there in time to board. Lost our original seat assignment and wound up in the last row at the tail of the plane. Extremely poor coordination between KLM and Delta who operated the flight."

Here's a were sorry email and a discount on your next flight with us. I have yet to see how much the significant cost for that discount but my expectations of Air Canada are very low."
Мінуси: "That delay was horrendous, I spent 10 hours at an airport. I woke up so god damn early to get there because of news spreading the worries of people waiting at customs immigration to the U.S. it only took us 40min to get through and the flight delay notice was given an hour and a half before departure. We couldn't even sleep on any benches because they were all designed for individuals to sit. It wasn't until our gate location moved to the end of that area was there any carpeted floor space to sleep on. On the flight, economy seating was very tight with limited leg room, and best of all our seats had no window, literally every other row in our section had a window. Air Canada handled this stressful event very poorly, once they figured out bringing a new air craft hours later, and everyone moved to the new gate area, all the attendants had left from their gate post until 40min before the flight which was hours later."

Мінуси: "Bumped off a direct flight from Toronto to Fort lauderdale with 6 other people. We all booked back in february. They are overbooking 5 to 10 percent now and kicking off the people who paid the least. There is no advantage to booking early only to be bumped. At the gate the AC employee said we would be credited 3 to 4 hundred dollars but we had to run to the customer service desk and then hop on an AC flight to Houston connecting with United Airlines to Fort Lauderdale. At the customer service desk a herd of people waited anxiously to be re booked and compensated. When they started handing out notice that they would send us 200 in the mail there was an uproar that fell on deaf ears. We then ran to get on the houston flight only to find out that flight was overbooked as well. We had to wait to see if they had any no shows. Fortunately I was able to stay on the plane. Upon arriving in Houston we were quickly ran to the United airline gate only to find out that Air Canada had dropped the ball again. We were not booked on the flight. Five of us had no seats booked , while I was booked to depart on a morning flight the next day with no accomodations arranged? Fortunately for us United Airlines picked up the ball and some how got us on the plane to Fort Lauderdale. Upon arriving around 1140pm! should have arrived at 5:20pm direct! we quickly ran to the AC terminal to get our luggage that was originally checked on the first flight. We were told that it would be there. AC employees with no concern at all told us it's not here and it would have been on the united flight that we just arrived on. After I explained that we werent even scheduled to be on the United flight by air canada, so there's no way it made it onto the plane. They looked at us like we were idiots, closed thier office doors and walked away. We ran back to the other terminal( shuttle buses stop at 11pm in Fort Lauderdale?) only to find no luggage again. Fortunately United picks up the ball again and traces our luggage back to Toronto, AC pulled it and left it sitting there. Because of Air Canada's inept employees I missed my rental car reservation and had to buy new clothes for the wedding the next day. They said they'd have the luggage to me by 11 am , it arrived at 11:30 pm the next day. Save yourself the hassel, fly any other airline other then the iconic continually bailed out by the federal goverment airline. If you know, no matter how bad your company and service is ,you will always be bailed out would you work hard? Probably not, hence the atrocious attitude and poor performance of this dead horse airline."

Too few Attendants sending connections on wild walk through long concourses to undefined line ups. Customs surely...not humored at all. Why the second time 45 mins cattle line up for security pass through before customs?? IN TRANSIT STILL??!! Not having proper crew ready to take over flight when delays make first crew sign off...waited on plane with no service for 1.5 hrs no water or food - should have disembarked to terminal?? Babies kids had 5 hrs onboard with no distractions or food. YIKES!! In the AIRPORT lack of AIR Canada personnel attending gateways! EMPTY until 20 mins before flights. Customer Service Desks somewhat helpful...could do more form their stations."

Мінуси: "One man wanted me to check an empty carry on bag I travel for 10 years with this high quality foldable carry on bag, it is a tight in their test cradle because of the wheels but it does fit. Even a passanger offer me is support telling the agent he was not reasonable after getting the bag in and out 4 times he still wanted me to check the bag in ? After 10 min arguments he said ok put it on the floor ! I could of put 2 of my foldable bag on the top storage if I had 2.... it was a connecting from same airline a much smaller plane which accepeted the bag . Very unpleasant ! Some people like to feel in power."

They are taking full advantage of it."

The tea they served was the dregs from the bottom of the kettle, nasty and bitter. There was no "entertainment," except a crew member renting out a couple of ipads that connected to the wifi. The luggage compartments are oddly shaped so that you can only put your luggage in the long way. It a misuse of space. A lot of people had a hard time finding any place to put their bags. During takeoff, one of the luggage compartments opened up twice."

Мінуси: "When I arrived to my seat, the overhead compartment was full. I had no room for my carry-on. I mentioned it to the flight attendant. He just shrugged and told me to put my carry-on under the seat in front of me. So, #1, I guess some people bring more carry-on and the staff lets them. And #2, I guess it wasn't tight enough in those seats and even though I'm over 6 ft, the staff had to make it tighter. Also, when it was time to land, I thought my seat was all the way up. It was not fully all the way up. I was half asleep, and all of sudden, instead of telling me, one of the flight attendant pushed on the button to raise my seat. I would've appreciated him telling me. The landing was delayed, but that's no ones fault at rouge. I am trying to be as objective as I can. Hopefully, when (and if) someone at Air Canada-Rouge reads this, he or she has enough "pull" at the company to ask the proper authorities:"what kind of company are we? Are we a bargain basement flight company that offers just basic flights for extremely low prices? Or are we an average flight company that offer great value for the money the customer pays?" Because, from my perspective as a customer who is at his second experience with Air Canada-Rouge, the feeling that I get from flying with you guys, is that your company offers basic flights that doesn't offer great value for the money. It's more a company that "plays on both fields", taking what suits them, and leaving what doesn't , regardless of their customer. I understand that a company has to make money. It's normal. But, at a certain point, don't you have to think about your customers? To be honest, the only reason I flew with Air Canada-Rouge is that I was stuck with no other choices but to fly with you (schedule, cost, etc.) And I know for a fact that I'm not the only one. The feeling that I get, is that your company counts on customer like me. Customers that are "stuck", with no other alternatives. If your company wants to offer many "cheap direct flights" like Ryanair and Easyjet offer in Europe, I have 2 suggestions: #1: lower your prices. #2 :your staff should be more customer friendly savvy. Because those 2 companies, that's what they offer. Always remember: you can put a lot of maple syrup on a pile of sh***t, it still won't taste like pancakes. Thank you."

And the small cup of soda we get takes over an hour for some people to get. The seats are entirely too close. I'm 5'9 and my knees were digging into the seat in front of me. Then the guy in front of me reclined and I had absolutely no room. I had to turn to the side. We didn't board until around the time we were supposed to depart. We were over a hour behind schedule. They held the plane to get a passenger's bag off because he was stuck in customs. Unless it's a funeral I need to get to, I'm not flying Air Canada again."
