I could not select a seat when I checked in on line - even though it was 20 hours before my flight. Even though I was traveling alone I could only get a middle seat. There were no non-meat food choices for the meal. We could not hear the announcements at boarding - no one knew what was being said."

Мінуси: "Flight delays cause cascade of irritable passengers. Flight out of Phoenix delayed due to late departure from previous location. We were told mechanical reasons was the cause of the delay. This caused many passengers to miss their connecting flight in Atlanta. When we arrived after midnight, one gate person was attempting to help 50 people with morning connecting flights and room accommodations. The airline knew 3 hours prior that they would have tired, hungry, frustrated passengers. To then have to wait more than an hour in a line to get a bed and or a meal was too much for most people. There were other smaller examples of how Delta's staff or procedures were not customer centric. I will avoid Delta for travel in the future, and I am getting out of their stock."

We got an alert stating that the flight was going to be delayed but we were already almost to the airport when I received the first message on my smartphone. We received three additional alerts making our total wait time at the airport 5½ hours before we could approach the gate and board the aircraft. Seating in immediate gate area was not comfortable. Boarding was chaotic at best with very little control and guidance provided by Delta staff. The audio over the PA system was difficult to decipher much of the time. The only other available boarding status information was presented on the screens stationed near the gate and indicated PREMIUM the entire time during our boarding process and was never updated. We literally had to scramble through the crowd to get to the gate desk and get our boarding passes validated so we could board our flight with our group of passengers. Our seating on board the aircraft was thankfully good which is why I rated Comfort as Okay. We were saddled with one more delay after the flight left the gate and taxied briefly down the runway and then sat there for almost an hour. My suggestions to improve customer satisfaction based on my experience would include the following 1. Provide extended alerts for passengers travelling especially if the anticipated delay is known to the airline more than 2 hours before scheduled flight time. 2. Improve seating in the waiting areas near all Delta gates. 3. Re-orient all staff in proper boarding process and utilizing all available resources properly to provide clear and intelligible (not speeding) overhead audio messaging and current boarding status prompts on displays. 4. Maintain or replace audio equipment if necessary to help improve quality of audio messaging in all boarding areas."

I had to find a shuttle to another terminal the shuttlesare not marked it was very confusing"

Once I got my seat assignment I thought I had a window seat: however, when I boarded the plane, I realized that I was in the very last seat of the plane in the window position, but no window. I was crammed in next to a wall and claustrophobic the whole way as I couldn't see anything, couldn't recline at all because behind me was the bathroom, and the engine roared at times in my ears to where I couldn't hear the passenger next to me when we tried to have conversation as the engine was right outside my "wall". We joked, when we could hear each other, that we must've pissed someone at Delta off the last time we flew them. I have no idea why I had to get my seat assignment at the gate for this particular flight, or why I was put in the 'flying coffin' seat, but it made for a very unpleasant experience. Why even have that seat in the plane? Everyone pays a lot of money to fly these days and deserves better than that seat when doing so. just take those two seats out and give everyone else a little more leg room = much better passenger experience for everyone...my suggestion if Delta really cares about the quality of passenger experience."

Security at Frankfurt was so poor. Of the potential number of lines available, there were only two operating despite the number of passengers, most of whom were late for their connections. It took us over 30 minutes to get through. Luckily the connecting flight was delayed over an hour."

So I wonder why the crew cannot travel earlier to airport taking into account potential traffic jams. Knowingly I trvaelled to the airport about 2.5h before departure and made it perfectly on time to the airport, even though working in the morning, whereas the crew couldnt make it. maybe Lufthansa should change their crew hotel policy in particular for towns with notorious traffic jams like Kiev.."

Плюси: "I flew round-trip in Business Class from Munich to Kiev and then back to Germany via Frankfort and both flights were on time. The dedicated business class check-in line and advance boarding process was smooth - as were both flights. The cabin crew on both flights were very good and all spoke English well. My chief complaint is with the European Business Class seating model (3 across with center seat empty) - which does not afford much more leg room or seat pitch than in economy class. On the plus side you don't have to get in a fist-fight with anyone over the overhead bin storage problem since there are less people in business class and hence more storage space."

This flight boarded from front and back. Making finding your seat a nightmare as people were traveling in both directions in the aisles. You would think you were in a third world country."

Despite my repeated requests, neither Airfare.com nor United nor Lufthansa were willing to adjust my consequent itinerary to correct that conspicuous deficiency. Instead, both United and Lufthansa representatives repeatedly assured me that the 40 minute connection would present no problem; and Airfare.com tried to extract a 33% premium on its original sale to make any such adjustment. As it turned out, my apprehensions were realized when boarding and tarmac delays at SFO consumed the entire layover, and a subsequent gate delay at ORD frustrated the commendable efforts of the flight crew to facilitate the de-boarding of passengers with close connections. Contrary to United and Lufthansa's explicit reassurances, the long run halfway down one concourse and all the way back up a second left me four minutes short of the gate closure. You guys need to get your act together. If either airline chooses to finance its operations by selling tickets to an "aggregator", such a business practice should not relieve the airline of its obligation to provide reliable service to its ultimate customer, the flyer. I am currently working to identify an appropriate regulatory agency to whom to report this cynical misrepresentation of services and the patently corrupt business model upon which it is based."

Demanded that I except any and all alcohol to give to her to drink. When I am tea total she then continued to abuse me. I asked the steward to move me he just shrugged his shoulders and said there was nowhere else. This is definitely my the worst flight I have experienced."

Плюси: "On both of my flights to New York City, I was amazed at how friendly and helpful the flight attendants were to the passengers. On my short flight from Basel to Amsterdam, a young French speaking girl was concerned about how to manage getting to her next gate. The flight attendants talked to her and arranged for someone to take her there. On my longer flight from Amsterdam to New York City, there was a customer who was in distress about missing a previous flight and not making it to her connecting flight in New York. One of the flight attendants reassured her until she stopped crying and calmed down. That same flight attendant was always so positive and cheerful in all she did. The rest of the crew was top notch. This was my best experience flying in such a long time. Well done, KLM crews of flights 1984 and 0645 on July 10!"

Beyond that, KLM must have one of the oldest fleets in the sky. Both ways LAX->AMS->LAX, I was on a 30-35 year old 747 with no wifi, no power and a ten-year-old entertainment system. Never again."

Instead, they tried to get everyone to board with luggage in hand, then once they realized there was not enough space they asked people to hold on to their luggage while they came through the plane to tag it and stow it below - very inefficient and made the boarding process crazy as people tried to make their way around luggage that was sitting in the aisles."

The entertainment unit stalled the entire time. Oh, and boarding... it's very odd to check-in at the domestic terminal at LAX for an international flight and I don't recall seeing any message in my email/SMS regarding this. So taxi dropped me off at the Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX and then I had to run over 4 terminals to get the Air Canada. A precaution about this would be nice."

This should have been indicated when booking the flight, we would have purchased a different flight. When we got on the flight, overhead bin was too small for my husbands carry on and a flight attendant whisked his bag away before we could ask where she was going. She came back without the bag and we asked where she had taken it- she had checked it without asking us if this would be ok. The bag was full of valuable breakables as well as our cash and cards. We asked if we could get the bag at the gate and she said it would come out on the carousel. So we spent 3 hours completely stressed out. Drinks were only served once the entire flight, more water should have been offered. When we got off the plane one of our bags had gone missing. We had to wait 2 days to have it delivered. It was delivered at 4am in the morning. Overall compared to the previous United flight, Air Canada has lots of room for improvement."

C my flight was boarding. Staff could care or less and walked away. I had to run to my gate and almost miss my flight. Also, I was told that 1st checked bag was complimentary as this is a express aircraft. Staff wouldn't honor that. Come to find out as I entered the aircraft that they made many passengers do the complimentary gate check anyway. Rude and unaccompdating staff."

On the return flight to Tampa when the suitcase arrived it was missing two of the four wheels in the corner was completely ripped off which was exposing what was inside. The handling of the suitcases is awful and she should receive a replacement suitcase"

She said 300 pesos or 25 U.S., and when I told her to charge my visa in pesos, she said it was going to be charged in U.S, which comes out to more. She never gave me a receipt for the charge. When she was checking my boarding pass and passport, she didn't even look at me or acknowledge me."

Our whole family has been traveling with air Canada, but I think it's time for a change. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Only two agents available to stamp passports on a Sunday morning when the world's largest cruise ship (Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas) had docked earlier that morning? We arrived at the airport at 8:30 and no Air Canada agents were available to check us in until 9:00. After waiting to get through customs and we proceeded to our gate, our 11:45 flight was just beginning to load! Lots of shoving and people cutting line to avoid being late for their flight. I heard one person mention they had missed their flight, and I'm certain many others did as well. With the chaos and delay, I'm surprised altercations didn't happen. The airports/airlines need to work with the local authorities to avoid these delays and provide their customers better service."

He just shrugged and told me to put my carry-on under the seat in front of me. So, #1, I guess some people bring more carry-on and the staff lets them. And #2, I guess it wasn't tight enough in those seats and even though I'm over 6 ft, the staff had to make it tighter. Also, when it was time to land, I thought my seat was all the way up. It was not fully all the way up. I was half asleep, and all of sudden, instead of telling me, one of the flight attendant pushed on the button to raise my seat. I would've appreciated him telling me. The landing was delayed, but that's no ones fault at rouge. I am trying to be as objective as I can. Hopefully, when (and if) someone at Air Canada-Rouge reads this, he or she has enough "pull" at the company to ask the proper authorities:"what kind of company are we? Are we a bargain basement flight company that offers just basic flights for extremely low prices? Or are we an average flight company that offer great value for the money the customer pays?" Because, from my perspective as a customer who is at his second experience with Air Canada-Rouge, the feeling that I get from flying with you guys, is that your company offers basic flights that doesn't offer great value for the money. It's more a company that "plays on both fields", taking what suits them, and leaving what doesn't , regardless of their customer. I understand that a company has to make money. It's normal. But, at a certain point, don't you have to think about your customers? To be honest, the only reason I flew with Air Canada-Rouge is that I was stuck with no other choices but to fly with you (schedule, cost, etc.) And I know for a fact that I'm not the only one. The feeling that I get, is that your company counts on customer like me. Customers that are "stuck", with no other alternatives. If your company wants to offer many "cheap direct flights" like Ryanair and Easyjet offer in Europe, I have 2 suggestions: #1: lower your prices. #2 :your staff should be more customer friendly savvy. Because those 2 companies, that's what they offer. Always remember: you can put a lot of maple syrup on a pile of sh***t, it still won't taste like pancakes. Thank you."

We ordered and paid extra for food snacks, but some of the items were not available even they were displayed in the food menu/catalog. We asked for a blanket for my daughter who was sleeping but Air Canada didn't have any blanket !! After we boarded, we realized that we didn't have space to put any hand baggages ! We are a family of 5 and we didn't have space to put even one hand baggage! Unacceptable!"

I have been a nurse for 24 years and i simply asked for a cool cloth for a gentleman sitting next to me that was feeling ill and very pale. India returned with 5 emesis bags and no cloth and never once came back to check on the gentleman!!! I really wish it was not a full flight because i would have advised him to puke all over everything. How hard was it to provide a cool cloth?? Really? I know first class has wash cloths and that was an easy request. And the fact that she never came back to see if we needed anything or to tell us she did not have a cloth for him. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I will think twice about flying Air Canada again. Thank god for good citizeans willing to help strangers in a time of need."

It has truly been a most stressful experience for me this and each time I have to go through Toronto to make a connecting flight , and I will avoid this flight plan in the future at all cost."
