When we arrived at the Sarajevo airport, our luggage and the luggage of many passengers did not arrive! We waited in a line for 1.5 hours to put in a claim for our suitcases. It was not a good experience."

Had to then go to the only counter in the terminal to see if we could get on standby. Finally got on a flight to JFK instead at 5:15pm."

When I finally made it to my connecting flight with NO time to spare (very small window of approximately 45 minutes to make it to my connecting flight) my husband, my son and I were turned away from our flight due to over booking. The Eurowings manager guarantees we would be able to make another flight if we went to the ticket counter right away. At the ticket counter, (different airline) the ticket agent explained we’d have to transfer our booking over from Eurowings to the new airline. This left us NO time to make that flight the Eurowings manager guaranteed us we would make. We also waited 3 hours at the baggage claim office only for them to tell us they lost all our bags. Only 2 out of our 5 bags made it onto the flight and will be waiting at lost and found of our final destination and the other 3 bags are unknown of their whereabouts. The Eurowings ticket agent took ALL of our bags including my husbands and I carry ons, so we were left with no clothing and had to stay at the airport over night. This airline really sucks. We were never informed in advance of this over booking issue or I would have certainly made my own accommodations before hand. Will never fly Eurowings again. Definitely the worst airline I’ve traveled with. And I lost 5 bags in the process."

She also said I was only allowed one free drink of coffee. The second snack was a cake or cheese sandwhich. We were starving the entire flight we had to give in and pay for snacks on board. I’ll try to avoid eurowings from now on."

They decided to fly us to Leipzig-Halle (another city a two hour drive away) and said they would provide busses to take us back to Berlin. But then, when we got to Leipzig, they said oh we might be able to fly you back to Berlin, just let us refuel. So we all sat in the plane for an hour and a half while they did that. Then, they announced that they couldn't go back to the Berlin airport because there were too many planes landing there. So they told us to get off the plane, go into the arrival hall and we would get more information there. When we got out of the plane, we were greeted by an information lady who informed us that no trains were running at that hour (it was about 11:30pm), and Eurowings would not provide us with accommodation or transportation back to Berlin. The information staff told us that our options were to personally pay for either a taxi back to Leipzig (two hours away!) or rent a car, or wait until morning to take a bus or train. I was able to stay with a friend in the city, and paid to take a bus to Berlin the next day, but what about everyone else who didn't know people in Leipzig and had to fend for themselves? As a young woman traveling by myself in a foreign country, landing in an unexpected city in the middle of the night, it could have been a potentially dangerous situation. I am extremely frustrated with Eurowings. I paid them to take me to Berlin, and they didn't. I talked to customer service on the phone, and they told me that I should make my own travel plans to return to Berlin and they would reimburse me later. Aside from the fact that there weren't buses, trains or flights running till the next morning - I shouldn't have to make my own travel plans! My plans were to fly Eurowings from Duesseldorf to Tegel, and they should be responsible for getting me there. I am never flying Eurowings again, and sharing the story with any friends who travel in Europe. They absolutely do not care about their customers."

Мінуси: "EW lost my suitcase in transit in Duesseldorf. Suitcase arrived in Berlin on next flight but then didn't get delivered until 24+ hours later. Hard to reach both EW and delivery service. Due to the delay and further travel plans the next day, I had to buy new clothes in Berlin to have something to wear."
Плюси: "Eurowings employees overall were friendly, helpful and polite. Language was not much of a barrier. Seats were fairly comfortable for their size. Boarding was smooth and efficient. Information given in-flight was nice. I loved the electronic flight path information available on the entertainment console. We did not purchase the entertainment, but it looked like selections were adequate."
Мінуси: "Food menu was not accurate. Items listed not available. Food prices were too high. $15 Euro for a reheated fish dinner and small beverage is ridiculous. Carry on bags were weighed. Very difficult to meet carryon weight when carrying necessary electronics and chargers along with prescriptions and the recommended change of clothes. Made the trip stressful. I am used to meeting carryon SIZE requirements but the weight requirement was extremely irritating and unexpected. I would not have been able to do a one bag carryon of my clothing with the weight restrictions. It essentially forces a passenger to check their bag ($65 minimum)."
Мінуси: "The service of the airline was horrible. They lost our bags and refused to show any empathy towards us or the multiple other passengers that also lost their bags from our flight. I will never fly Eurowings again."

Мінуси: "The birding officer didn't inform me about the visa requirements to cross from Dusslouf to Vinna airport. This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

I was told boarding passes were not free, they charge a fee but she would not do it right there. She sent me off to another window to pay, then I had to come back to this window to get my boarding pass, which had a huge line by that time. It cost me an extra 68.20€ and another 31€ for a checked bag. Definitely NOT the low cost airline they claim to be! The flight may be reasonable but they get you with ridiculous fees. I will never take Ryan Air again- they are crooks! Once they’ve sold you a ticket you are stuck having to pay the fees. It’s cagey business practices."

I felt that this was a scam for Ryanair to make money off their customers. They said it was Kayak's fault that I did not receive a confirmation email. Then after my flight left, an email came. I want a refund of 50 euro."

Плюси: "The flight was smooth and totally uneventful, which in plane terms is exactly what was needed. Ryanair had a reserve collection of pilots onboard as they were transferring from the UK (mildly comforting). The plane was quiet thanks to Bose for noise cancelling!"

The staff on the flight back weren't overly great and one accused a bloke of snatching when actually his bag was just heavy. She also had attitude towards others which made me think, whats she going in this job."

Secondly, my £7 Gin and Tonic that I'd hardly touched slid right off the frankly useless trays and into my lap. The flight attendant literally threw me a few paper towels to help. I spent the remaining three hours of the flight soaking wet."

Any checked in bag cost $35 and there is absolutely no free check in bags. We ended up check in 3 bags for two of us. Service is super slow. In addition, if you are traveling to London, the airport they use is STN which is at least 1 and half hours from the City. There is no Uber available from that airport. Tax cost is $120+. As you can see, no matter how cheap the ticket might seem, it ends up to be very costly, no matter you are talking about money and time. Flight attendant was friendly but the Rome CIA airport service was horrible (that's where they fly out from). You first have to stay in a long slow line to get the check in bag invoice, take it to a payment counter where 3 out of 4 service people were on there phone texting while there is another long and slow line of travelers are waiting to make payment. We almost missed our flight despite the fact we got there 3 hours earlier."

Eventually, they forced us to buy brand new tickets or we would have missed our flight."
