The entertainment systems kept shutting off in the beginning of the flight, and my screen was slightly unresponsive to touch. Not the best flight experience compared with what I'm used to and expect from Turkish."

The flight circled the destination and was then diverted to the second Istanbul airport, where we refueled and waited for another hour. People from the back of the plane rushed to the front of the plane while we were still taxiing on the runway at Ataturk, all to get to the front of the line. The crew was passive the entire time. Upon exiting we were herded onto busses (thus taking away the supposed advantage of those rushing the front). When finally in the terminal, I had to go through customs, purchasing a visa (for a country I did not want to visit at the time), and reclaim checked bags. I proceeded to the other carrier's counter, to be informed that the gate for my flight onward was closed. As the ticket was "promotional" I lost that ticket and had to purchase another - on Turkish! Also had to spend a night in a Turkish hotel, also on my dime."

The request was clearly spelled out on my boarding pass along with my personal oxygen equipment information. I kept asking different staff and they would call for me then say somebody would be there. I waited for an entire hour and only when I started to cry did somebody do something. It was terribly stressful."

He argued with the crew until they gave up and let him stay. They did not check his boarding pass or ask him to move to his assigned seat I found a different seat away from him but I don’t see the point in paying for extra legroom when the crew let’s people who haven’t paid for it sit it those seats. I felt harassed by the man and was very uncomfortable the whole flight. I am considering my next step, I think I should at least receive a refund for the upgrade I paid for."

I sat in the middle seat between two hours other men. It was a constant struggle arm space. After 7hours in the air I could not wait to get off the plane. If I didn't actually pay an extra €60 for the seat I may not feel bad but I feel like I might have been better off without paying for the "upgrade""

Overall this caused unnecessary delays that were compounded by the fact that I couldn’t use my TSA precheck. My main problem on the plane was that I had to struggle to get water served to me. It’s always so dry on planes and I would have liked to be able to get more than one tiny glass of water at a time. Also, would have loved a window at my window seat. Plus no WIFI!?"

I was told when I booked the seat that the headphones would be complementary. So I did not bother to bring any assuming they were going to keep their word; I figure I'd make it work and watch a movie without sound. Мінуси: "The flight was delayed because the plane was over fueled. The flight attendants were rude and condescending."
Плюси: "I loved the pilot taking time to greet my boys and give them wings! My boys loved sitting in the co-pilot's seat and hearing "the plane talk." Once we got to our seats, the flight attendants were very helpful and kind and we, actually, landed early! Yaaayyy! My boys won't forget their flight to Houston because of the cool female and male pilots they met while traveling. Thank you!"
Мінуси: "I did NOT like how the seats are grouped in twos. I flew with two small children who could only sit together and I had to sit by myself and watch them; which was very hard. If I could change anything about my flight, I would change the age of children who need to purchase seats to four and up as most children under 4 want to sit with their mothers, so why should I pay for a seat they will not be using?"

Плюси: "Flight crew was great, cockpit crew top notch, very smooth landing, entertaining and informative post flight info from pilot. Food was almost non existant, entertainment non existant, leg room cramped. Can the airlines do any more to make passengers miserable?"

Мінуси: "I was unable to load on to the plane after trying to confirm my conferirmatiojn. I was scheduled for a flight from Detroit to Newark New Jersey . I had received a hematoma at the airport directly prior to the flight at the counter in Detroit. It was essential that I be on the flight because my aunt died the next day and was extraordinarily ill. This was all explained to the agent. They did nothing to help in this mess. I ended up flying to Washington DC on a different airline. They did nothing to try to help. I want a refund for this flight. There is no reason the airline could have helped out in some way. I have emergency room bills and death notices. Thanks for your help."

Мінуси: "The lady at the gate when boarding was not friendly and was not willing to help us get seats together. I was traveling with my mother, husband and two infant children. And it was like pulling teeth to get any information out of her. She did not even tell us we could board early to get situated on plane! I also called earlier that morning and spoke with a man on he phone at united who told me he put us all in the same row. That was a lie bc when we checked in at the gate to get our seats the lady said no one was sitting next to each other! That lady was rude and short tempered! Awful experience will never fly again!!"

Мінуси: "It is uncomfortable, you can´t select a decent seat and there´s no entertainment, you hae to pay for it. There's suppose to be an option with mobile devices but when you make the ticket purchase it only says that entertainment is included in longflights and it is not. I paid for the entertrainment system but you have only some options and the movies start according to their own schedule so you can't really pick what you want to watch. And the directv remotes are not set in a good place, the are in the arm rest, so everytime the person next to you moves the wrong way they change your channel or turn the volume down or something else. For such an expensive and long flight the tiny space between chairs and entertainment lack is unacceptable."

What I do not care for is the lack of customer service. There was only one person at the counter in the airport. And let's not mention the unpleasant flight attendent on at 5 hour flight! Nothing offered for the inconvenience. Everyone including the pilot was just as irritated as the passengers. I usually prefer United when flying coast to coast but...worst experience yet."

Мінуси: "After my first flight was cancelled for no clear reason, I was rebooked on one which was 8 hours later (not the one of the first flights out). When I arrived to the airport my flight was then delayed another hour. This was two days after my previous flight with United which had us sitting on the tarmac for 2 hours waiting for updates about whether or not we could take off."
