I didn't have the code as I was searching emails for the booking agent and airline when it was (as I later discovered) sent by another name. This resulted in £30 to check in going out and 40 euros back. Desk staff were unhelpful bordering on rude (the cabin staff were fine in that respect. I wasn't the only one at least 20 people queuing on the return with the same issue. Additionally on the delay out they advised food could be brought at the rear of the plane then inflight ran out so some people ate twice while by the time I got to my hotel they had stopped serving food and I had not eaten in the airport sorting out the boarding passes."

Long long queues, then continued to queue before boarding in the waiting/holding room. No toilets once you enter the corridor to go to gate. Unsatisfactory management. Water from air conditioner dripping on me on board from take off. Not an immediate suggestion to move, but agreement to do so on my suggestion and then gentle insistence. Thankfully there was a seat for me! It seemed to be a problem staff were aware of which is concerning that Wizz did not block that seat."

More than the cost of the one way flight! Nobody could help at the airport despite me explaining in detail that I had tried multiple times to book online to save $. Besides all of this, the planes are not nice, you are only allowed one carry on (no personal item) and the seats are not comfortable. I thought we would save money but check in fees and ridiculous baggage fees made this flight cost more than a nicer airline."

Got the delux package which gives you extra leg room, extra baggage and priority boarding which came to about $125.00 for the entire ticket for a three hour non-stop flight from Barre in southern Italy to Madrid. This was just after 2 people were charge full price (50L each for passes & full price to check luggage, after they didn't get promised email to check bags online) Cheap fares doesn't make up for frustration"

Very nasty situation. i think it will be my only Ryanair trip."

When I arrived at the airport they held my boarding pass until I paid an additional 45 euro for a process they call checking in. The checking in process allows them to require the customer to print their own border pass and enter identifying information at least 2 hours before departure, passing inconvenience to the customer for profit. The email that contains instructions for checking in provides first the confirmation number in bold letters, then a receipt of the purchase followed by a page of advertisements and sales offers. After scrolling past these solicitations one can find a link to checking in in fine print. So far, no other low cost airline I have taken abides by this practice. (Spirit, frontier, American, United, JetBlue, southwest etc.) The boarding process did not allow for efficient queuing causing a line to form that was a couple hundred meters long that extended down the main airport walkway. The final result was a delay of 45 minutes to 1 hour after scheduled departure time resulting in a delay of transportation to city center and any connections."
