I found out within a out half an hour what would happen -- you had them delivered to where I was staying the next day. It all went smoothly and fortunately I had allowed extra time after I arrived ... no problems. And the people who handled your baggage claims were professional."

Мінуси: "I have lactose intolerance and I tried ordering the special meals. However the lactose free meals are not good. I got it more than once, it's always dry grilled chicken, steamed veggies and plain rice. Overall it's a dry meal and no flavorful at all. On this trip I didn't order a special as I was hoping one of the options wouldn't have lactose."

Мінуси: "When you are doing a long flight, you don't want fruit to be the only choice for dessert. It's hard enough being gluten free but to find that nearly every airline just thinks that fruit is acceptable is disappointing. They did provide a gluten free bread roll rather than the usual rice cakes but on two recent legs, didn't heat it. When I told the flight crew the second time that it is inedible when not heated, he was great and said he would do that. And it is nice to eat grilled vegetables which are delicious but sometimes particularly on a long flight, a bit more variety is needed. Turkish Airlines is excellent but fixing this would make it great."

Плюси: "The desk personnels from the Philippines (flight from Phils to Istanbul) were very accommodating when I requested if the plane was not full that I could be seated on an area where the other seat was not occupied. Very professional with smiling faces."
Мінуси: "So now, this would be the opposite (big time), this lady personnel on the desk (flight from Istanbul to Miami), when I asked her for the same request, she did not even look on the computer and quickly stated that the plane was full. I travel a lot so I just know that this person was lying and sure enough when everyone boarded, they were empty seats. I should have gotten her name because she was just plane lazy and unprofessional, it showed that she did not like her job. I paid an expensive Turkish plane ticket, so I deserve that courtesy and I would fully understand anyway if there were no seats at all but please don't even take your costumers like a fool."

Плюси: "We were pleasantly surprised when we received a full box of snacks on our short flight from Zagreb to Instabul. The trip was comfortable and we enjoyed that there was a movie available overhead and they provided headphones for. Overall, it was a fine experience."
Мінуси: "Service was fine until our water bottle (which we thought was empty) leaked a bit in the overhead compartment and the female crewmember was incredibly rude and gave the most disgusted look when we claimed the bag that had a small leak of water (about a tablespoon). She also whispered something in Turkish to fellow crewmembers and they all laughed. It was embarrassing and unnecessary. We also were left in the bus on the tarmac for 10 minutes before we could board without any notification of what was going on."

Мінуси: "We had an engine failure during the first ten minutes or so of our flight that required us to turn around and head back to Istanbul, then wait for another plane, then reboard and try again. Our first flight was in the air an hour or so. Engine failure is always a concern - why was this issue not found during a routine maintenance check-up?"

Плюси: "A three hour flight and they gave us a very nice meal and beverage selection. Never happen in the U.S. unless you are flying first class, and even then they wouldn't exceed Turkish Airlines. When did you last have metal eating utensils with your meal..... if you even got a meal. Plus multi channel seat back entertainment on a three hour flight. I wish the U.S. would open domestic markets to foreign carriers."
