After waiting in the Tbilisi airport, the staff notified us the airline did not fit every checkin bag on the connecting flight, and we would have to return the following night to pick up our belongings. There was no apology or discount on our ticket price for the huge inconvenience. It seemed as though the airline was notorious for doing this."

New Istanbul airport is not fully ready for passengers. In some toilets weren’t water and papers. Very long walking distance till passport control area, we walked about 20 minutes."

Мінуси: "My flight tonight (0078) from MIA to Istanbul was delayed by over 5 hours. I am traveling with an infant and it has been IMPOSSIBLE to get anyone to help us. Finally, someone at the airport helped in re-booking our flights but I have yet to have anyone give me an answer regarding compensation! In addition, we are traveling with an infant which isn't easy but we had the bassinet seat on our original flight. Now it's sold out for the flight tomorrow and no one will assist in trying to help get us better seats. I understand things are out of your companies control but being in an airport with an 18-month baby isn't easy and no one in this company has made this crazy travel schedule easier. I would like someone to call me back or email me with something that could maybe be done to help us! No one at the call center will help!"

I don't know who to blame in the first wrong text, I don't know why and how the suitcase was lost, I don't know who torn it, but in general it was all very wrong and inefficient."

I always fly first row to be able to work with my laptop, however due to a last minute plane change the new A321 did not have a 1D or 1F, only 1A and 1C. I had booked 1D, but was moved back to 5D with absolutely no option to change back to the first row to finish my work. I had to sit sideways to be able to work, and it was extremely uncomfortable. I don't understand why they couldn't have moved me back to the first row and move the non-SEN/HON sleeping members back to 5D and 5F, or at least asked them if they would mind. The plane was massively late, and I missed my followup meetings at the airport."

However, this international flight only had american plugs so anyone without an adapter was SOL. I tried to watch the large screen at the front of my section but they showed the movie Lion that is in Hindi and therefore had subtitles and I couldn't read the words from 12 rows back. The boarded process is like a cattle call. DO NOT FLY UNITED!!! I thought I was flying Lufthansa but it was a bait and switch situation."

Can write an essay on my whole journey."

(The flight was also cancelled the next day; my wife was on that flight; I don't believe it was a technical reasons because of this) Resolving the issue wasn't smooth and needed my involvement to propose a working connection. I am Star Alliance gold member (through United) and this did finally give me a connection."

They said that I had enough time and that's my fault - I even should be thankful that I don't pay for another flight that I am going to be flying in 7 hours. Bottom line: I got to Kiev at 9:20 PM and moreover, the flight landed 30 mins late. It never happened to me, despite I've been more than on 25 flights. I am shocked by employee's behavior and the situation in general. Would never recommend Lufthansa airline to anyone."

Additionally having to pay for even water is a bit much, especially when I came prepared, but drank more because it was hot on the bus."

To pray it doesn't come back to me damaged? To their credit, it did not..."

Thankfully there was a seat for me! It seemed to be a problem staff were aware of which is concerning that Wizz did not block that seat."

The gate agent was also very rude and not proficient at her job, causing us to delay the plane's departure. Exceptional customer service may have included refunding us the large carry on bag fee. Additionally, our 2hr flight cost us almost $200 each, not what I would call a budget airline price. We will not be flying Wizz air again & do not recommend this airline."

We was kept informed all the way as take off was perfect, and the landing at London Luton was the best have ever had as you normally land land then get an extra hard heavy jerk to slow us down extra hard braking. The Pilots of W6 4503 on 23rd of August 2017 is a credit to your company as they landed without the extra hard braking you normally get. Those pilots both of them should teach the other pilots's of your company how both of the pilots did it, and even teach other airline pilots the same IT WAS A VERY SMOOTH LANDING. Give the pilot's a commendation or an award as I would like those pilot's on any of my flights I have in the future. You can let them know it was me that told you to credit them in the highest award they can get please. Let their bosses, and company owners know this as well. So maybe if you call them in the office for something PLEASE CREDIT THEM for the PERFECT LANDING MORE THAN A CREDIT TO YOUR COMPANY as I put that ion bold to enforsize a perfect landing."
Мінуси: "I was in 24B middle seat which was very cramped as the seat too small and back of seat too low, knee area not enough, no chance of getting to sleep as you cannot get comfortable enough as you cannot even sleep on the tray, kids screaming all around me, people behind me kept kicking moving my seat, people in front of me too loud Bulgarian's. At Varna airport me and others queued up in check in 2 and 3 patiently, and after about 20 minutes queuing two people jumped the queue in check in 1 as the second guy I had to tell him we have been waiting you cannot jump the queue and to go to the back of the queue, and a guy walked straight into check in 1 before check in 2 and 3 was opened and got his bag done, and a big group of people with prams etc was not even in check in lane 1 where they was sorted out well before us queuing as they just turned up and got there bag etc slips on the prams etc. A lot of the information on board was in Bulgarian and not in English only a very small thing NOT TO BLAME THE PLANE STAFF in any way."

The planes are old, but 3 of 4 of my planes had upgraded seats with tv screens built in, where you can plug your phone to charge. The seats are of regular comfort, nothing outstanding, but not too bad (I’ve definitely had worse). Cannot regulate AC, which is somewhat annoying, but once again, not a big deal. Did not take food options so can’t comment on that. Flight staff is more or less polite, always smiling, and will make sure you have what you need. Would probably book again with UIA if it were an option."

Thank goodness it occurred to me to do the online check-in (which, by the way, did not work from my phone; I had to ask the hotel lobby to lend me a computer) because they charge you a fee if you do not arrive with a printed boarding pass. They also weigh your hand luggage and if it is over 7kg (which is nothing!) they force you to pay 70 euro to check it in. We had to pay 140 euro for our 2 check-in bags anyway, because apparently the tickets we bought did not include check-in luggage. Mind you, when I booked our flight nowhere did it indicate I would need to pay for luggage, and when I did the online check-in it also did not state I should or could pay for luggage. Other passengers said that their flight to Lviv included their checked bags, but they got charged for the luggage when flying back out of Lviv. One young man who was already ready to board was told to go back out to check in his hand luggage because it was too heavy (although he had already been allowed through to security with his hand luggage)... and the “scientific” method for showing it was too heavy was the man at the gate simply lifting it and deciding it was past the limit. The lady at the info counter, when we had to pay for our luggage, was extremely rude; in my husband’s words, she was “uniquiley unqualified for a position involving customer service”. So... the ticket itself from Lviv to Kraków might have been affordable, but the airline finds creative ways to make you pay through your nose. We would have actually saved money (and stress) by booking a direct flight with a different airline (or taking the train!). Hopefully UIA will ”get with the times” and become more transparent about their charges, as well as find more qualified customer service representatives. Ukraine is a lovely country and many of the people coming through are seasoned travelers. If the airline continues to make it difficult for flyers, many may choose not to return. This was a short flight, but not even drinks were served."

It took such a long time to get through that the people at the end of the line were late catching the plane. Now to actually boarding the plane. None of this was anyone’s fault accept the actual passengers tat were being difficult HOWEVER there could have maybe been something done seeing that we left and hour and a half later than we should have because of said passengers. When you have a layover, that is an actual nightmare. Next, onto the layover. It was fine. Nothing bad happened on the flight itself. But here’s where it sucked. Everyone who flew from Paris to Lviv with a layover in Kiev lost their baggage. GREAT NEWS TO HEAR. I understand that this happens from time to time. But we were given hardly any answers as to when we would have our luggage back and we were all a part of a very important even where, oh I don’t know. Clothes would be nice to have. Anyway that’s it. Just a little chunk of our hellish travel day."

They didn't accommodate us in any way, then would put us online in order to give "kosher food" and instead of food they gave us cold non-kosher sandwiches and non-eatable bad bag of fruits ...... really..... It really reminded me the time of world war II. Another situation I had when I bought liquid at Duty Free store and the cashier just put the purchase in open bag at the Ukraine check point they wouldn't let us take our purchase cause it wasn't sealed, eventhough I showed them the receipt showing that I bought it at Duty Free, the bag needed to be ONLY sealed and security refused it, we had no choice but to through everything out. Finally we got our plane ready around 11PM but when we got into the plane the first thought came to our mind if we will make it to NY, cause plane looked like they took it from the junk, seats were broken, handles were out from screws and they were moving and sits were very tight. How you expect people to sit at these sits without moving for 10 hours...???? You don't need a horror movie it was real...... Never I will fly with that airline again and would not suggest to anybody. I strongly believe that I'm not the only one who will give you or already did a survey like that cause they were really horrible."

Ukraine Airlines might be the only International Airline that does not have this. How can you not have this option for passengers in 2018 when you know people are using laptops and cell phones more than ever? This is unacceptable. 2) there are no television options on the headrest for passengers. Again, I do not know of any other International Airline that is not allow each passenger the ability to watch movies in front of their seats. The movie option for Ukraine Airlines is extremely outdated. 3) when taking the international flight from New York to Kiev, the food option is not good. It is only one Hot meal served. To give passengers a cold sandwich as a first option on an 8hr international flight is acceptable. It appears to me that Ukraine Airlines is 10 or 15 years outdated. I travel to Ukraine often and I do as much as I can to avoid your airline. Also whenever I'm talking to passengers in other airports and even passengers boarding Airlines we all talk the same about your airline. Most people are disappointed with your Airlines but have to use it because scheduling etc."

You were unable to get a voucher for an overnight hotel unless you are willing to stand in that line at 2 a.m. Ultimately, I had a cab got my own hotel and paid for another flight on another airline to get to my Final Destination the next day. I would consider Ukraine air in middle of the road airline with a customer service if things go wrong to be quite poor."

When I called to rebook, I was assured that the flight was still valid & that I had received the message in error. When I tried to check in for the flight, I couldn't, because it really was cancelled. I spent 3 days trying to sort this out. I even had help from someone who speaks Russian fluently. They completely missed us, saying they had booked me on a direct flight from Minsk to Amsterdam, & upgraded me to business class. None of these things were true. After 3 more phone calls I finally got rebooking information & was able to check in online, just in time to be issued what is arguably the WORST seat on the airplane (last row, center seat). They had already stolen the entire last day of my trip by cancelling the evening flight & forcing me to take the morning flight. And offering to refund my money so I could book on a different airline does not help at the last minute, when prices skyrocket. Incompetency & inefficiency is bad enough. The fact that I was LIED to on several occasions is inexcusable."

Мінуси: "About an hour long line to check in, due to their only having a couple of counters open to check in a huge, and completely full, international flight. On both departure and return trips, flights were delayed. On our departure, this led to us not being allowed to go to our connecting flight (even though there was some time remaining and we had only carry-on luggage, but they didn't seem to understand that), and on our return we nearly missed our connecting flight, except for the fact that it, too, was delayed. On one fairly long flight, no refreshments were offered except for purchase, but there was no menu or price list provided, and the service took a very long time. The weight limit for carry-on baggage was different (less) for the return than for the departure. And so on. UIA simply doesn't seem to have its act together. Also, for our own case, our flights took longer than necessary due to UIA having to fly *around* Russia, rather than take a correct route that would go *over* Russia. While I'm sure they can't help this, it is a factor worth considering depending on your route. Overall, I can't recommend UIA. In the future, I will be taking other airlines even if it means spending a significant amount more."

Spent hours running around trying to find it and then like i mentioned having to pay double for the dog. The planes were also very outdated, reminded me of the planes I flew with my grandparents in the 1990's, knees in my mouth the whole flight and no entertainment counsel. Food was inedible as well. WORST FLIGHT ExPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!"

They changed my seat when the boarding started in spite of the fact that I had my boarding pass already. My confirmed seat was 9A and they moved me to 35G, which was the very last row on board and the seat did not fall back, so I spent 12 hours in one rigid position. 3. After the boarding, the plane did not take off for 2 hours without any explanation or apology. As a result, we spent around 12 hours in the plane instead of 10. 4. As a result of the delay, I almost missed my connecting flight. I had 20 minutes to get off the plane, take my new boarding pass for the next flight, and board. I can't describe how stressful and chaotic this all was. Other people also had the same problem and there was a huge line and a huge mess. The airport staff was very disorganized and unhelpful. I had to yell to get any attention and a new boarding pass. And then I had to run to catch my flight. 5. Unfortunately it's not surprising that my luggage did not arrive. It was early morning on Saturday (just past midnight) and my suitcase delivered on Tuesday evening in spite of the fact that there are flights between Kiev and Tbilisi twice every day. The worst is that nobody was giving me any information - Tbilisi airport, Ukrainian Airlines via website (online tracking) or telephone. They did answer my email saying that they will try to find it, but then went silent. The Tbilisi airport speculated that probably my suitcase never boarded the plane in JFK and it might be still stuck in New York. 6. Finally, a number of items were stolen from my suitcase - a handbag and a few pieces of clothes (blouse, tights, underwear). Clothes were brand new and had tags on them, but the handbag did not."

Мінуси: "Unfortunately our luggage was delayed several days both ways of our trip. When we called the airlines they couldn't give us any information or any help. We just had to give an address and hope for the best. In the meantime we had to buy clothes and toiletries and got zero reimbursement from the company and not even an apology. This is a budget airlines. If you want food you have to buy it. The only thing your given on board is one cup of water for a 3 hour flight. There are no tvs and the legroom is very tight."

Мінуси: "Waited in heat inside airplane for more than hour waiting for exit to take off."
Плюси: "The flights where on time, and there were not issues between transfers. They provided 2 meals on out 9+ hour flight that were unexpected as everything I read indicated that there would be no on flight meals provided, so that was nice. There was always one little thing in the meal that was a bit weird, but overall the meals were rather good. And once they put on the movies, they kept them coming, which really helped the time pass on such a long flight."
Мінуси: "It might just be a cultural thing, but the crew was less than friendly. They didn't appear to enjoy their job at all and rearly smiled, which I found odd as I took a total of 4 flights and only the male attendants on one flight smiled.... but after seeing the typical cliental they have to deal with I guess I can understand their dislike! (If I had to deal with people allowing their children to run around like animals for 10 hours with not a word against their actions I might be a bit pissed as well!) And with all airline, they shrink the seats to cram as many people on the plane as possible, so the seats were not altogether that comfortable, but again, that's all airlines. Other wise the only technical issue that I wish should have been disclosed is in Venice there is no Counter for Ukraine Air, they use another airline as their counter support so it was a bit confusing and frustrating when they where unable to print both tickets! Had to get in separate line in Kiev to get second boarding pass."
