Kayak put us on different planes at different times on our return flight back to the USA. I had assumed we were flying together ( sisters with the same last names), so I showed up at the airport to find out that I had missed my first flight. I already had a boarding pass for the next flight, but Kayak had canceled me and booked someone else in my seat. No more seats in economy and I had to pay $1750. Euros for another ticket. Why would 2 passengers flying together and booking together be put on different planes and different times. We will NEVER use Kayak again!7"

When I went to check my bag the woman was very rude and asked me "why do I think I can check two bags?" and questioned my Star Alliance premium silver status, demanding I show her my card (I have no card). My friend was flying with me and she was told that her carry on, mind you had flown to and within europe, was too big for the overhead storage and she had to pay 90 euros to check it and the woman held her boarding pass and wouldn't give it to her. we waited in line at the service desk for over 40 minutes so that she could pay. We arrived to the airport 2.5 hours early to eat and shop for souvenirs. We barely made it in time to get to our gate because of the inefficiencies of Lufthansa. 1 person working a service desk for a large airport is unacceptable, especially when they are 8-10 waiting to scan your baggage and not helping out at all. I had a wonderful flight to Europe on Lufthansa and was absolutely appalled at the attitudes of the airport staff and their lack of customer service."

Since we were connecting to an International flight to return to the US there was no possibility we would be able to get to the International terminal through security and board our flight in the time available. So, Lufthansa staff met the connecting passengers as we disembarked, shuttled us via bus to the International terminal and ensured we made our connection. Finally, for airline food it was quite good (Vegan)."

I have never seen such rudeness towards passengers as I did at that gate. I will take a ship across the Atlantic before I go through Warclaw again."

LOT put us up in a hotel overnight and booked us on a flighty the next day. The hotel was 1 hour drive, 50miles, from airport. I reached my final destination 13 hours late."

Мінуси: "I was forced to check in my hand luggage, but the Amsterdam personnel attached to it a tag without any flight information, so this luggage missed my plane in Warsaw on the connecting flight and arrived later that day as misplaced piece. LOT needs to fix the hand luggage tagging system on connecting flights."

Got on another flight with its own connection Munich then Sofia and about to miss that connection too because this flight is also delayed for no reason. Lot app doesn't work. Customer service is horrificly slow and their phone number had me on hold for over 40 min after which dropped my call"

Мінуси: "The flight was delayed an hour, which is fine, but no information was given to why and we started boarding at the updated takeoff time. The process of getting zones lined up and on the plane was a mess. They didn't communicate clearly about zones so every passenger got up and in line, lines weren't directed well, and people kept getting chastized for not knowing what was going on. Once we boarded the plane, we sat for an hour with no reasoning why we waited. When you already have a 9 hour flight, less time stuck in your seat is best. It was hard to understand the pilot when he spoke in English to know why we had delays and any updates while on the plane."

After standing in line for 30 minutes the woman at the counter said we were in the wrong line and was extremely rude as if we were stupid for not being able to follow the Polish signage. We had simply stood in the line we were directed to. Counter clerks not very pleasant compared with other airlines!"

Luckily (?) the plane turned out to be 45 minutes late, so the eternity it took to have the rookie who finally showed up to look blankly at her computer screen, apprently hoping it would receive Divine instructions on how to work her way through the ONE PERSON in line in front of us, in order to stamp our pre-printed boarding passes did not cause us to miss the last flight of the day from Amsterdam to Dublin. Now lets talk about the torture device that Ryanair uses as a passenger seat. . ."

Then they do not provide gate number until about it 20 mins before boarding. It’s saves you some peace of mind purchasing priority but the seats are cramped and I just found it to be a blah experience"

At this point we were well into our trip and had to spend time finding a way to print out our boarding passes. Our flight was delayed by about an hour and a half and there was no one at the gate ahead of time that we could speak to. We also found out the day before our flight from a Blog that as passengers with US passports we had to get a stamp on our printed boarding pass prior to going through security. Had we not seen this on a random website we would not have known this either and would have showed up at the gate only to be turned away."

Мінуси: "Comfort: No reclining seats. No seat pocket. the back of the headrest is an eye-sore and it is in-your-face for the entire flight. They have their advertisements there and there' no way to avoid seeing their ads. Boarding: I had priority boarding, but I could see chaos taking place . More importantly, there was a lady with serious mobility issues (she was old, limping and walking slowly) and nobody from the crew even spoke to her or offered to help as she was getting on or off the plane. I had to tell someone from the crew to get a wheelchair for her after she exited the plane. Upselling: disappointed. They even sell you scratch gamble games, they charge for water during the flight. Ticketing: they charge to print your boarding pass at the airport. I usually get a printed boarding pass at the airport, but stuck to just using my phone. Can not believe this experience. What kind of a airline is this?"

They said to get to the airport 3 hours early for security but the people weren't there to take our bags so we spent that hour sitting outside security. You have to pay for any drinks even soda."

Мінуси: "I did an online check-in the day before flight and chose to allow the airline to choose my seat so I could save a bit of money. I had a connecting flight and had 1 hour layover when arriving in Amsterdam to get to my gate for flight to Dublin. I did not have boarding passes and was told I could get them at the Gate since I checked in online. Got to the gate, they said there was no record of me checking in online, so I would have to pay €50 per person (my husband and I) in order to get on the flight. I needed to get to Dublin so I handed over the money, then was told I couldn't not get on the flight and had to be rebooked for a flight 4 hours later. I then had to go to the ticketing desk where I was told my only option was to pay a fee of €200 (€100 per person) in order to rebook my flight. All in all I am very upset with how everything happened, I am out a ton of money. The original cost for both tickets was €87, and I paid an additional €200 on top of that just to get where I needed to go, on my questionable acts on behalf of the airline."

Didn't expect a refund for the flight, but also Couldn't get a refund on ANY of the EXTRAS I'd booked for checked bags, preferred seating or early boarding. The were rude on the phone after waiting 3 hours on chat to talk with them. Will never fly with them again."

I am disgusted by this treatment and the lying of the RyanAir Amsterdam ground staff. Unacceptable. These people should be penalised."

But it took us 3 hours to be reticle ted because they use a subcontracted staff who was closed. We were told to get our baggage and recheck, after waiting 50 minutes were told that our bags made our original flight-even thought that is against FAA regulations. Went back to ticketing and the Sipervisor told us that our bags did not make the flight and to go back to get them. Another 45 minutes and we were again told that they made the first flight. Happily they actually were at our destination when we arrived. Never again. And we paid more in change fees Han the ticket cost"

THEN we were told we couldn't get our money back or our luggage until after the girl went on lunch break at 11:30am. She clearly just didn't want to deal with us. We watched her just sit there and do nothing because apparently it was her 1.5 hour break. We ended up flying with a different airline because our experience with Ryan Air was so bad. NEVER AGAIN"
