Secondly, I think that if this airline became the best airline in 2017, staff should care about their passengers’ stuff more than they do, so backpacks or suitcases don't lose parts or get crushed during flights. When I got my backpack back, I thought that someone had used it to play football. My backpack had lost some parts, and some pieces of it were torn!"

Мінуси: "I requested a chicken meal and I told the steward that I would wait because he did not have anymore at that moment. He never came back until it was time to pick up trash. I proceeded to tell him I never got the main course, he apologized and told me that there was only an egg entree left. I went ahead and took it, then as a way to apologize he offered to get me a piece of fruit, a banana. I accepted but he never came back with it. It was not a big deal but I did not appreciate being offered something and then no follow up. Next time do not offer something and then not follow through."

Goodie bag was a good idea; the goodie bag contains an eye mask, mini tooth brush, paste, hand cream, etc. These all were great idea and definitely helpful. However this is ruined by the tooth paste. It was a tiny tooth paste, fair enough but the opening is sealed tight w/o a way to easily pry open. This was a total bad idea of packaging. Flight tips were also good idea and informational."

The seats were cramped and narrow (no side support) Seat cushion has been stripped down to bare minimum, so effectively you may not feel much of a cushion. Cramped legroom Seats felt like junk and I had started having leg cramps after few hours. This so disappointing for a premier airline like Qatar. Overall a very uncomfortable ride."

I didn't pay a few hundred dollars extra for this."

Мінуси: "Very hard to believe that Qatar is described as a "world-class airline". I took a total of 4 flights on Qatar Airways in a 2-week span. First flight was from New York to Doha (not bad). Second flight was from Doha to Nairobi (not bad). Third flight was from Nairobi to Doha (not bad) and the fourth and final flight was from Doha to New York (unbearable!!!) My first issue with the Qatar Airways was a checked parcel not arriving at my destination. When we reached Nairobi, I was told my parcel that I had checked in New York, was still in New York. It was a card board tube of materials required for a work initiative at a Kenyan hospital. Returning to Nairobi airport several days later created a hassle that I won't soon forget! Now to describe the journey back to the United States. The flight from Doha to New York is the flight I want to focus on. The flight was extremely crowded and the conditions were absolutely deplorable! I cannot fathom how a self-proclaimed "world-class airline" could pack a plane that full and compound that with a 14 hour flight! I felt so badly for the airline staff. They were stretched so thin that they couldn't accommodate the passengers. There was garbage all over the plane and the bathrooms were filthy; garbage cans overflowing with waste and dirty diapers. There was an exceptionally high number of infants and children on this flight. I love children. I have 3 children myself. I felt terribly for the children AND adults on this flight because everyone was absolutely miserable. I never thought it could be possible for there to be 14+ hours of crying babies and children. It was absolutely maddening. The airline staff were so busy that they couldn't even assist with the babies and children which I found to be so completely unconventional for any airline, especially one of this alleged caliber. I do feel that there should be a separate section of planes for infants and children so that the crying etc can be confined to one area and passengers aren't exposed to what we were exposed to. The man behind me verbalized what I had been feeling when he stated "If I could, I would jump off of this plane. This is torture". The purpose of my trip was a global health mission to Kenya for a hospital to hospital partnership. Other team members in my group requested an upgrade and offered to pay cash. We were all appalled to be denied. The Qatar Airline staff couldn't process the upgrade and we still can't understand why. Seems a shame for the airline to have lost all that potential profit. For me, this was a return trip (I had been there in March 2015). Last year I flew Swiss Air and Brussels Air where I had much more enjoyable flights without any incidents. I will be notifying all of my friend, relatives, and colleagues of this nightmare experience and will certainly advise them against flying Qatar Airways."

Turkish TSA seemed a little confused with what to confisticate. They almost took away my portable shaver too. There were 4 little kids running around aisle during the flight forcing me to watch movies instead of sleep crossing the Atlantic Ocean."

I got it more than once, it's always dry grilled chicken, steamed veggies and plain rice. Overall it's a dry meal and no flavorful at all. On this trip I didn't order a special as I was hoping one of the options wouldn't have lactose."

I wouldn't have minded at all but my seat and the one next to it didnt recline anywhere near as much as every other seat in the whole airplane. It was really uncomfortable for me and the person who was seating next to me. Hopefully this will be the last time i get stuck in that kind of seat."

The man helping me lied to my face and told me that he could not make the change because the flight was full. when I got on the plane, there were over two dozen empty seats. It was very clear that he just did not want to invest the few seconds it would take to address my concern, or give me a credible reason why he could not make the change."

We came there - nothing. Then next text - come get it in two days. When it finally arrived - it was torn. I don't know who to blame in the first wrong text, I don't know why and how the suitcase was lost, I don't know who torn it, but in general it was all very wrong and inefficient."

I asked the Turkish airline representative at the gate if my bag is on the plane. He said "yes". When I arrived to London I couldn't fibd my bag. I spent more than an hour looking for it since the employee assured me it was loaded to the plane, the person who was waiting to pick me yo had to pay around 15£ parking and wait for one hour and a half. I arrived without luggage. I have everything in the bag, my umbrella, jacket, cloths, pajamas, underwater, everything... the allowance that Turkish Airlibe said they will give allowed me to only buy a Pajama. I am totally NOT satisfied. I will not travel on this Airlibe again"

Мінуси: "They charged me 35 dollars to check in and the reason I did not check in was because their other flight was running late and was not sure I will make to that flight. It took forever to get bags in Riga. In the empty flight the way they were seating people was crazy. I'm lifetime gold with American Airlines so I do fair share flying and can tell you it's not a good Airline."

Мінуси: "The plane we were supposed to be on from Riga to Helisinki had mechanical problems so they switched our plane. We had an hour delay do to that. Then when we got to Helsinki our luggage never made it."

Мінуси: "They overbooked the flight and without any apologies on their behalf or without even informing me, they stop me and my fiance at the gate and just told is that we can not go to the flight I book and prepay 4 month at advance! The only solution that they can offer me was to travel from Riga to Moscow and than to Tel Aviv. It become 12 hours traveling across 4 countries ( we arrived form Stockholm) instead of 5 hours flight as it was supposed to! I'm not recommending to travel with that company it can not be trusted!"
Плюси: "Everything was in time. Baggage I handked in the Riga airport and received it in Larnaca, no problems"
Мінуси: "We had to pay for 3 pieces of luggage, including my hand luggage. It came to about $150 dollars. When i booked the flight, it did not indicate anything about this extra change so be ware of this. The flight itself was quite inexpensive."

Мінуси: "The seats are worn and creek with every movement. There is very limited leg room even for someone who is short. When the person in front of you leans back it is impossible to reach your hand baggage or do anything but lay back in your seat. The landing was safe but not at all comfortable."
Мінуси: "The flight was cancelled, so I did not make to the my connection flight with different carrier. I had to reschedule the flight and stay in the hotel overnight. AirBaltic refused to compensate for my looses due to thair fault, castomer service is very poor, they took refusal position right away. Air Baltic planes are very old and no air conditioning, avoid air Baltic."

Плюси: "They did provide a 6 euro food voucher once it was clear the flight was going to be over 2 hours late. The flight and land crew did their best to keep everyone calm under bad circumstances."
Мінуси: "Flight was just under 3 hours late (long enough to kill most of the day, but just under what is needed to pay compensation). First they said it was problems in Amsterdam, then problems with the plane, then traffic in Amsterdam. It was hard to tell what was true and what was avoiding penalties (it is possible that equipment issues caused them to lose their spot, and get caught in traffic delays). I hate that they charge 2.5 euros for water on the flight. Their carryon rules only allow us to take the smallest of bags (smaller than other airlines) but when I got on the plane, lots of people had medium sized carryons."
Мінуси: "Check in staff at Riga airport were rude. Check in Maine issued the same boarding pass twice, so one of us had no boarding pass. Security line was insanely long--30+ minutes! On board you pay for everything, even a glass of water. Tiny seats and the person behind me kept pushing on the back of my seat. Very uncomfortable! Will never fly airbaltic again."
Плюси: "The equipment used for the trip to latvia. the cs300 was superb and I enjoyed my seat. It was comfortable. The boarding was quick and efficient. spacious and quite lovely. the food was ok . i enjoyed the grilled pork."
Мінуси: "the customer service rep stopped only me, the only black man travelling from riga to russia and was scrutinizing my passport for some long agonizing minutes. My russian visa is in the passport and updated and quite visible to see on the third page of my passport and being from Grenada I am able to travel to latvia visa free for up to 90 days. I stood there whilst others walked past me and went to the aircraft. that sucked. may 09 2017 at around 9 am."

Мінуси: "It was cold and I was not dressed for the bus to the aircraft, but instead for the tropics where I had been. The toilet was not centered for stand - up use for men. Thus had to kneel in order to use. This booked by UIA, but the carrier was Air Baltic, which led to some confusion as to which airline to go to for boarding."
Плюси: "Things moved along fairly well, especially once I was in Riga. The hour layover stressed me out because I wasn't sure if I'd make it to my connection in time, but the airport was not crowded so I managed to get through passport control fairly quickly and made my flight."
Мінуси: "Flight left a late, which was stressful with an hour layover in Riga where I had to go through passport control. Was very stressed, but made it with ten minutes to spare before my connection boarded because the airport happened to be not crowded."

Мінуси: "The planes seemed very old and rickety. One was an old propeller plane that looked like it had a large patch. The second plane was so old that It was very difficult to open the overhead storage compartments. Both planes rocked side to side during takeoff and landing. I couldn't figure out how to check baggage online through Kayak, and it cost €40 at the airport. It got me where I needs to go, but with the baggage fees, it turned out to be about the same price as other airlines, and I wouldn't recommend the planes for people with any flying anxiety."
Мінуси: "After barely making too tight a connection, all food and beverage needed Euros or European credit card. My Visa wouldn't work. Finally after I broke down (blood sugar way too high) the stewardess gave me a glass of water. Never will I use the money grubbing airline again"
