Мінуси: "I did not check the terms and conditions of the ticket. I am a Star Alliance Gold member and I was expecting SWISS to have a similar booking system like the others I fly with. I found out that the ticket fare did not contain checked luggage ( so I had to pay a hefty fee for it ) and also my 20" wheeled case that was ok in all the other flights I took it with me, this time was oversized and overweight . My wife took out the 2 laptops so it became within weight limits but still oversized - My wife paid for the fee ( I wasn't there at the time and she is not a such experienced flyier as I am ) . When I found out about the fee, I checked their rules and I found out that the hand luggage is allowed to be 22" . I saw in the airplane a lot of people with cases having the same size as mine, that went as checked luggage at a cost fo around 40 . I want to see how can I get my money back . . ."

The security area is not properly designed for accomodating many people at one time and the officials (actually two cleaning personnel) who did not speak anything but Turkish were manning the entrance. Even when I showed them my boarding pass they just rudely shooed me away!"

Or if they just breeze into their private airport wings and planes. I doubt they take off shoes, belts, and such, or go through irradiated machines. But going through about 3 extra layers of security while transiting is a bit much. Not to mention the extra hours spent relinquishing and reclaiming laptops etc. Frankly, non of these acts makes anything safer. It is akin to the permanently parked police vehicle on the Brooklyn Bridge in NYC since 9-11. What is that supposed to deter?"

We were just told to check the board outside once we landed. Lufthansa could have provided excellent service to my family if they had helped us with our connecting flight gate information to navigate the airport terminal we had never been in before. We literally ran to get our connecting flight which was upstairs once we identified the gate # by ourselves."

The person at the Lufthansa desk left at EWR so there was no one to talk to about vouchers for our cancelled flight. Also I never received an email update about my upgrade request contrary to the email I received saying that I would get an update. I would not fly again on Lufthansa."

The seating in economy (seats 36A and 36C and an Airbus 330-300) was generous compared to other airlines we've flown recently (e.g., on a 777 with United on the way over, and that was "Economy PLUS!). The food was much better than the United flight, and really, it was almost too much. I'm home 14 hours after landing and I'm still not hungry. They were also very generous with the drinks and worked to keep us well hydrated with water and juices. The crew was very pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a great experience and I will certainly look to Lufthansa first for my next transatlantic flight."

Also, I discovered late in the flight that the view screen pivoted and this would have helped in enjoying the videos more. Here's an idea for Lufthansa: how about adding "Tips" to somewhere in the Entertainment system to improve your seat, viewing, and other experiences. For instance, I wasn't aware that the head cushion on the seats were adjustable to better support your head. One last thing, on the entertainment system, it appears to be browser based, but sadly lacks a "Back" button equivalent."

It could have been so complicated, and everyone made it SO EASY. She was all smiles when she arrived in Boston. THANK YOU!!!!!!"

Мінуси: "My parents were traveling, they dont speak english and I verified with Austrian airlines that they would be assisted at the gates and that they had the correct visas for each airport they had a layover in. I was assured there would be no problems. Upon boarding they were not able to get on their flight. I have never had so many communication issues and frustrations in the middle of the night with an airline. disappointed."

Плюси: "The Swiss Air staff provided water and nice sandwiches for us while we stood in line for hours and put us up in a very nice hotel for the night."
Мінуси: "My first flight with Austrain Airlines was 2 hours late in leaving, partly because they mixed our baggage up and had to have each of us leave the airplane to identify our baggage before getting back on again. Because of this, I missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Apparently hundreds of other passengers were in a similar situation, because I spent the next 6.5 hours standing in line to getting my new itinerary and hotel vouchers."

Плюси: "It was a total nightmare all Austrian flights they put us on were canceled !!! We did not leave Vienna for another 7 h a total nightmare all planes had technically difuculties !! Austrian airlines had total chaos !!!"

Мінуси: "Croatian Airline checkin service was good but was made to check in carry on. However, baggage clerk was extremely hostile and wanted to charge us for two bags for which we had prepaid. Would not accept our evidence of payment for the two bags. Finally accepted her mistake but Forced to pay 90€ For the extra bag. Ripoff!! Other airlines (Vueling, Air Europa) checked same bag as courtely, did not charge. First and last time flying Austrian."

Мінуси: "We were almost three hours late on arrival. Being at VIE airport after midnight with no buses going home is no fun."

Мінуси: "My Swiss flight from Stuttgar via Zurich to JFK was cancelled before 24 hours without explaining the reason. They should explain the reason at least. I had to take an another flight and arrived at JFK after 6 hours from the original flight. My trip was totally messed up, so I was not happy at all."

Плюси: "We had a friendly conversation about our travels. The lady explained the entire baggage process clearly. The security folks were equally friendly. Just a real nice experience at the Lugano airport."

Плюси: "The outbound flight from Vienna to IAD had much better service. The return flight from IAD to Vienna, the crew didn't come back to refill water or ask to top up drinks. The food choices were more limited. The entertainment system on the flight needs a larger selection."

Плюси: "The pilots are very skilled and keeps you informed about every single “bump” during the flight. Flight attendents are very nice, pleasant, polite and helpful."

Мінуси: "Waited longer to start boarding the plane than the flight took. There are 2 gates in Lugano "airport" and no plane or flight at the other gate. Shouldn't be this difficult. The inflight crew was nice and attentive for the little time we saw them but the ground crew never ev n bothered to make an announcement. Just had us sitting there like a heard of cattle."

Мінуси: "Although AU blamed late arrival of the plane from Russia, fact is that the plane was at least one hour at the dock before boarding and the AU team was just extremely slow to get boarding done. We were all invited 45 minutes before boarding to board, when apologies were already offered for the slight delay, which turned into 1.5 hour overall. Worst is the lack of communication during the 45 minute wait, for which I have little understanding seeing many older people clearly suffering."

Eventho I have marked it on my ticket I need kosher food it wasn't available. It is upsetting. It would be a must at every company, regardless of the service to have name tags for the employees!!! Mostly the flight attendants were kind, but as soon as i asked for something it seemed like they don't want to help or work at all. I understand I have traveled on the economy class but shouldn't make a difference how you treat the travelers. The pillows were dirty!!!!! Not only one, because I have asked for more......most of them! It is disgusting! Something must have been wrong with the headphones because the volume was on max when i tried to watch the move but barely could hear anything. I have flew with Lufthansa most of the time and in the future will chose them. Very disappointing that sooo many little things are interrupting a vacation."

Плюси: "The crew worked so hard and were always ready to do more for any problem that arose, be it, mothers with babies, the elderly and infirm, the less than gracious occasional passenger, or younger children. The entertaining things on the individual screens also helped make the long periods of sitting more manageable for young and old."
Мінуси: "I didn't like how the passengers in general, left the cabin of the plane in such a mess! The crew came through several times for refuse, so I couldn't understand. Leaving pillows and blankets should be the only thing to clear out. Maybe a note on the TV screen could say, "a tidy plane helps flights be on time :-)""

The issue I have, why was there no information as soon as this issue became clear ... lets say the evening before the flight?Why make everyone arrive at 5am at an airport if you know 12 hours earlier there will be a 90 minute delay?"

Мінуси: "There is not enough leg room. There is even less room if the person in front of one's seat has the seat reclined. The seats barely recline at all, so sleep is impossible. Sleep would be possible if there were enough room to rest one's head on the tray in front of the seat. This is impossible if the person in front of one's seat has reclined his or her seat. Thus, sleep is totally impossible on this aircraft. The sinks in the bathrooms also need to be deeper and need to drain more quickly."

When my parents were checking in for flight they asked the representative about meal selection and she didn't answer their questions properly and because of that my mom didn't get proper Hindu Vegetarian food on flight instead she got Egg omelet which she couldn't eat. She has to eat just fruits. My mother is a diabetic patient and she needs a food every after some time. I never had such a bad experience before with any other airlines."

Мінуси: "The 767 is configured oddly and th business class seats are so narrow it feel like you are sleeping in a coffin"

Мінуси: "Without any explanation the plane I was due to go to Istanbul on at 11.30 was not available. I had to wait for a small plane coming from Edinburgh then wait for it to be emptied of passengers and cleaned. This meant we were over 2 hours late into Istanbul. No explanation or apology. I then missed my next flight in Istanbul and had to purchase another ticket. I cannot believe that air passengers are treated in this way!!! I will follow this up with KLM when I go home from my holiday."

There was plenty of programmes to choose from to keep me entertained."

Мінуси: "Departure was scheduled with one hour delay. When everyone was boarded they mentioned a leaking toilet. It took them 1,5 hours to disable the toilet. In the mean time, no drinks, no snacks, nothing. So we should depart at 18:00 but it became 19:30. Our first drinks and meal was no earlier then 21:00. The crew should have anticipated better that the technical problem would at least take one hour and give everyone a drink at least."

From the crew at check desks, to those greeting you as you board and throughout the flight, they are the reason I continue to fly with them. I love how they have bassinets for those traveling with babies. the adventure packs for children and the never ending smiles and treats for the rest of us."
Мінуси: "This time I was turned away as a Sky Priority Member, and told there are too many categories at boarding and told my Silver Status (after this flight was bumped to Gold). Not sure what has changed in the last 2 weeks."
