Плюси: "I landed SAW airport with another operator. Turkish airlines should have simply waited for me as my reservation with them starts in SAW airport. My previous operator sent my luggage to SAW as final destination, which means i have to cross passport control, collect my luggage and start the check-in process; given the time window between the flights, that was simply impossible. TURKISH AIRLINE's ground staff - transit team of SAW airport - Made it happen! I was requested just to wait, then they confirmed transferring the luggage and gave me respective tags! landed CDG - Paris to find my bag safe and sound :)"

They yell at you or just simply ignore you. No legroom. The crew did not mention that are flight was delayed prior or that we missed our connecting flight and what to do from there. I was given a hotel room during my layover but its in a scary neighborhood and it smells like sewage is nearby. The Grand Yavaz. The cheaper price is not worth the hassle. I can spend my good money elsewhere...i will be sure to warn others."

Мінуси: "I was shocked when we landed in Ataturk and the sleeve was attached to the plane we had to get down to the ground from the middle of the sleeve. We were taken to the terminal by bus!! After the sleeve was already attached! I can understand when you are in some small airport or flying with low cost airline. But it's Turkish airlines in their home airport! Really disappointed."

They made us walk even more to get us transferred to hotel for a night. Their crew repeatedly lied about how to get new boarding passes as they were busy and didn't want to do it for us. Sent us to another transfer desk. No veg. food option even after making a special request. They said sometimes those mistakes happen. You can't call the crew from your sit to get snacks. They make you get out of your middle sit and walk to the back of the plane to get a sandwich. The boarding process at the Istanbul airport is even more chaotic. They have their own security (after having done security at the o origin in Rome AND at the IST airport), which requires standing in an hour long line and getting profiled and judged by the airline staff."

Плюси: "The turkish delight was great and the personal TVs were nice. The choice of shows to watch was good and the hot towel was a nice touch. I also liked the bag of goodies like a toothbrush and eye mask. Very nice."

We drove to the plane and waited for 15 minutes in the cramped shuttle while they were putting another staircase to the plane and finishing prepping it. We left a half an hour late and the flight was already at 10pm. It was a pretty terrible experience! And the section of the Istanbul airport we were in was pretty dirty. Also the movie they played had two language options but no English which was disappointing."

I feel in general passengers take a longer time to be served and the time it takes the crew to clean up the trays after a meal is even longer. Some the the passengers win my flights were even getting out of their seats to bring their trays to the flight attendant station because they wanted to be more comfortable in their seats. I also noticed they did not come by to collect trash as frequently as other airlines. The entertainment selection was good as far as movies but the music option was very limited and difficult to navigate."

Плюси: "Sitting in a metal tube flying at 40,000 feet with 300 other personalities has its challenges. Turkish Airlines' staff managed this with excellent care. The smallest things begin to matter; the comfort of the aircraft, quality of food and drinks, the frequency and availability of service, and above all conveying the sense of safety. Every member of this company, from the staff at the counter to the flight attendants, to the pilot seem to really embrace customer service."

Kayak should not include anything involving Brussels Airlines in its offering of options either because we will associate the bad experience with Kayak. The check-in process in Madrid was so slow that we waited in line for more than an hour -- as two of the three Brussels Airlines employees moved in super slow motion and a third one chatted on the phone while processing passengers. Our flight took off one-hour late because 12 passengers did not get checked in in time. Some people missed or were told to run to make their connecting flights by the time we landed in Brussels. And we were told during the flights that we would have to pay for even a glass of water even though we were to fly across the Atlantic because we were not flying Brussels Airlines from and back to Washington. I am giving the trip one star because -5 is not one of the choices."

Мінуси: "The flight was late boarding and late arriving in Munich. I had a connecting flight to make and that was a harrowing experience. I had no precedence offers the other passengers in deplaning. I was given no help in making my connecting flight. I had to queue up for border control. I had to go up and down numerous escalators. I was stopped by a policeman asking for papers which I had already given to border control. I had to take a train and change terminals. My connecting flight was departing from the farthest gate possible in the terminal. I was running the entire time, and I barely made it. Had I not been running, I would have missed my connection."

The boarding area was mixed with people trying to get to New Jersey at the next gate making it very crowded and confusing, people found themselves in the wrong line."

The amount of snacks was limited where’s in Turkish airlines it’s unlimited and you can choose different sandwiches whereas in Austrian airilines can offer biscuits and Cookies ;( Thirdly . We are living in 21 century and most transatlantic airlines have WiFi ! Where’s Austrian did not have it!"

This caused a big problem for me in the airport, where I: 1- Wasn't allowed to catch my flight ti Vinnea and this was both financial and time lost for me. 2- I was locked in Dussluff airport for more than 14 hours, I was threatened to be sent back to USA or any other country. This caused physiological damage for me, as I been treated like an animal 3- I was asked to pay for my new ticket ( Dussloff - Istanbul-Amman )"

I was travelling with my cat, so for me it was super stressful. Once we did arrive to JFK, there were no more flights to RDU that night and it took forever and then some to get me a hotel that would accommodate a cat. Just fly another airline."

Мінуси: "After spending almost $1,400 on my ticket to Poland, the last thing I would expect for such a long trip would be a broken seat that didn't recline. Being 6'7"in height and having the seat in front of me reclined I had to sit crouched for over 9hrs.When I informed the stewardess, not much concern was given and the alternative offered was worse because it was a middle seat with less space knowing that there were available seats in premium class. No effort was made to accommodate me knowing that the trip was long and sitting with my legs crouched could cause a health issue. A working seat is not a luxury, it's basic equipment that you expect to be functional not broken."

AirBaltic's flights have been fine, just this "if you don't use one part-you lose the rest" policy is horrid!"

Also, to the other passengers, sit down until it’s your turn to exit. What is wrong with you that you can’t sit five more minutes? Be polite and let the people in front of you go first, let them have room to grab their bags instead of having your elbows in their face."

Nothing is free, not water (1.5 euro) or any other beverages or anything else. We paid double what the flight should cost to not even be offered water. The seats were lightly padded to maximize seats. There was a small amount of leg room but some. No power outlets, wifi or media. The worst aspect is I bought a flight on Baltic Air from Tallinn to Riga and had the price from Riga to Paris on the next tab on kayak. I bought the ticket from Tallin to Riga then flipped to buy Riga to Paris only to learn it was a bait price. The price was actually $200 more. Baltic would not refund the first flight (within minutes) so we were stuck to either walk away from our 2 tickets to Riga or pay the bait and switch rate. We begrudgingly paid 400 (200 each) euro MORE than the initial price shown so we could fly out of Riga back to Paris (to be back in Paris by Jan 7). A non alcoholic beverage, a small snack, and power access would be helpful. Ground crew helping with order would be helpful. I was shoved and run over trying to get onto and off the plane. It is the wild west of flying except the plane is new...oh, and it is 30 euro if you do not check in online ahead. But you will still need to stand in line to check a bag (where they can issue you a boarding pass)."

BT444, 18:30-19:50... he just stood there watching me struggle up the outside staircase into the plane with my suitcase... scolded me for bringing suitcase on board, argued with me, etc. (I've traveled the world and this suitcase is always brought on board)... he was not service-oriented or helpful. thankfully, other staff did help... but he left a bad taste in my mouth for this airline."

We explained at the checkpoint that we had a few minutes, but they controlled us several times until we had to throw several liquid items. In St. Petersburg they had already controlled us, without problems. In short: a sad experience in Riga, which does not speak well of this country: Latvia."
