Плюси: "It is so far a cut above the American carriers. There’s no way to compare them, because Qatar Airways is so far superior. The seats are far more comfortable and larger, the amount of legroom is far superior, you have much more personal space, and the craft is cleaner. Flight Attendants are fantastic! They provide excellent personal care, and are there for everything. They are supremely polite and courteous, and bring things in mediately. Very often anticipating your needs. This is what flying used to be like on United and American. But those people have completely forgotten what service is. Qatar is a 5 star airline. United and American, to my view, are 2 star at best."

While other airlines wait with the coat on your way out, Qatar made me wait to hand over my coat. I was one of the last passengers to deplane."

Our return flight back to the states: This is more of a suggestion for the Sri Lankan airport - They were unorganized, we were asked for boarding passes before we even entered the airport, which we did not have, security seemed to be all over the place and half assed. Our bags went through the security machines and were supposed to be marked security checked, however they were not.. Once we got up to ticketing they made us go back through security to get those stickers on our bag. Not a reflection of Qatar airways, but any airline flying to Sri Lanka should put pressure on the airport to organize their security efforts better."

"Boarding was straightforward in IST, but security was strict (everyone's passport, boarding pass, and Covid tests were checked and re-checked 3 times within about 40 ft by 3 different sets of TK employees), with a final carry-on bag check with bomb nitrates swab for every passenger. And that was before boarding passes were scanned to step onto the plane. I first flew Turkish Airlines in 2005 and was extremely impressed. (The strict security process for flying to the US was much the same then as now, when they flew from the old Istanbul airport.) I have flown TK several times since and seen improvement, but not at the rate of its competitors, especially in the region. However, for my last trip (with a long leg between IST and LAX) they were half the price of other flagship carriers. Food quality, quantity and variety have declined, although that may be due to Covid restrictions. The lavatories remained clean but at least one ran out of TP & all other paper supplies half way to LAX. A couple of passengers (in economy, with me) took to using the business class lavatories and got into a dispute (real shouting match) with the flight attendants about it. (The passengers were in the wrong and escalating with unreasonable demands, but one flight attendant let his temper get the better of him. I didn't count but it seemed that there were fewer flight attendants on duty, with one being a fully robed "hygiene officer".) They did take Covid seriously, and distributed hygiene kits with masks, wipes, etc. to every passenger. If transiting through Istanbul before a long flight leg, consider using the airport hotel (YotelAir) within the terminal for international transfers (behind security). Reserve a room, as it was booked out when I last flew through. Otherwise, there are few places to sit down or rest once through to the International Transfers area."

In addition, the flight was delayed by 1 full hour and when we arrived in Vienna our luggage (and the luggage of many other passengers) had not been sent with us. We waited in line for luggage for 30 minutes, then another line for at least 30 more minutes to report the missing bag, and we were then told that it wouldn’t arrive for another day and would be delivered to us within a 3 hour window in the middle of the day. This was essentially an entire night and day lost to a mishap that the airline didn’t even notify us of when we landed. Pretty frustrating."

In the end gate staff went and rescued his skate board from security as he got to the flight crying his little eyes out. Communication was terrible and staff was rude!"

With all the bad weather, I was already very happy to connect right on time in Paris. However, a long haul A380 flight with such a tight seat configurstion is almost embarrassing for an airline. The in flight entertainment is at a very poor level, not only with the screen being very small and outdated, many of the movies are only available in French and the international selection very limited. The food was not much of a delight, whereas the presentation was nice. However, in all the 7 h between the services, nobody came around with refreshments in a completely booked flight, neither was announced that a trolly would be set for self service in the galley. Lucky the ones who got up and found out about. In terms of amenities, again, the airline is lacking of originality and saves cost. Bottom line: you get from A to B, but there are so many better competitors in the market, which I shall definitely consider on my next travel."

Мінуси: "The "Czech Airlines" flight I purchased was actually an Air France flight number. When I arrived later than planned but still within good time, which was my fault, I reported to the Czech Airlines check-in (D2). This is very, very far from the Air France check-in (A2). No person and no sign was at Czech Airlines gate saying to go to Air France instead. By the time I determined what to do by talking ro the airport information booth and I walked to Air France instead of Czech Airlines (at CDG airport this is 5 minutes walking very fast speed on conveyor belts.. perhaps more than half a kilometer), I was past the boarding time limit, but the flight had not yet left. Then I could not print the boaring pass because of the time. When I asked an Air France employee for help, he simply said "you cannot board" and stood there smugly. He must feel great being a 25 year old who can turn people away from international flights at his own discretion to completely ruin their day especially when the plane is still on the ground. I have not even explained yet about the similarly awful experience I had when I booked the next flight (Czech Airlines at 09:45) for a much higher price (118 euro) and was not told that this Czech Airlines flight is "really" a Czech Airline flight. After paying much more to a Czech Airline person, nobody informed me to stay at the Czech Airlines area (2D) so I naturally went back to Air France since I had already had so much trouble. When I arrived there, of course, they tell me to go back to Czech Airlines and now I was again late. Thank God that I was able to confront a random trolley man who Kew where the Czech Airlines people were and try tried very hard to get me to the plane even though the boarding time was over. All in all, this was the worst travel experience of my life. I have now wasted 40 more minutes of my approximately 2.5 days in Prague to tell you this. I hope you consider it."

Usually we buy 3 to 5 tickets and this year we try LOT again because of price. NEWER AGAIN WE WILL SPEND ANY MONEY WITH LOT. Yes, they have new planes but they still operate under old habits. This time we got stock in Warsaw for more than 7 hours because our connecting flight was once again canceled and the next available flight vas late. NEVER AGAIN, WE ARE DONE WITH LOT FOR GOOD."

Failed to get a voucher, refund or change the dates online, was still getting an error. on messenger they answered and told me i can get a voucher, i told them i don't want it and after that they stopped replying all together. good thing i got my money back by filing a dispute with my CC company."

During this waiting period they issued coupons for 1 toast bread with cheese and 1 soft drink !! To redeem the coupon was very humiliating !!! They did even appologize !! On the plane the crew was very rude, after all this wait an old lady wanted to change her seat for more leg room, they forbid her and asked her to pay for it , when she got upset they threatened her to drop her off the flight in a very rude way.... i will never go with flydubai again."

He insisted the plane didn't come from anywhere so it could not be wet. I showed him how it was so wet that it soaked my pants and told him it smelled like beer. He seemed annoyed i was bothering him and said he would replace the seat cushion. It took ten minutes before he replaced the cushion. When he did he threw it over the seatbelt preventing me from bucking up. I told him the arm rest and side of the plane were sticky from whatever had spilled. He ignored me and walked away. Another attendant came by and told me to buckle up before landing. I explained the situation that I did not have access to the belt to her for the second time and she rudely told me to move my seat. When I requested a new seat before the flight the first attendant told me no that was the seat I had paid for. Ignoring the fact that I had also paid for a dry seat. Now when the flight is landing my safety suddenly became a priority. Its safer to say I will not be recommending this airline."

He continues, "I can give you an aisle in row 23". I say, "okay". Then after I leave the check-in counter and look at my boarding pass it says I have seat 11B. Neither window or aisle! In addition, I flew this flight as part of an Emirates ticket and it was not cheap, and yet the FlyDubai segment did not include a meal."

Bathrooms are disgusting, I have 12 hour layover, to sit in a lounge I need to pay 120$ , just to sit on a proper chair. In short you have money they welcome you, you don't , too bad find your way they don't care. Very over rated airport. Should be considered one of the worst, or maybe this terminal is made for unnecessary people, when their entrance phrase clearly states Dubai connecting the world. Connecting nothing. Simple money transfer isn't available, in case of emergency you need money, too bad sit yourself down and do nothing. Once again very over rated, and I will publish my review in all travel guides."

Мінуси: "Fly Dubai check in at Dubai Airport is run by non-employees. My wife and I waited 1.5 hours in line. The staff helps other customers who are late for their flight cut in front of the line, and therefore make everyone else late for their flight. We finally arrive to the front and are told our flight has been oversold, and that it is full. We asked to be put on another flight and they said the next ones leave tomorrow. We were told we had to go wait in another line to arrange a flight or refund. We waited in that line for almost 1 hour, and the employee gave us an email address written on a post it note, and said if we wanted a refund to email them. Just an awful airline. Some other passengers wanted the flight the next day and Fly Dubai offered them a hotel for the night but said the hotel is full. The airline has an awful check in system, awful customer service, and has yet to offer us a refund, or even reply to the email we sent them six days ago. Regardless of their ticket price I will never fly with this airline ever again."
