They reopened the terminal but then redirected us to a service center. That center was overloaded and we ended up waiting in line for service/information for the entire day. Once I was near the service center they dissipated the line. They told us there was another service center in a different part of the airport and that this one we have waited for was closing. We went there and it was also closed instead they had beds without blankets or pillows limit the halls. Alia we were in line for hours before they offered any water or food. Food was really late. Information was the problem here. We were not told what we should do except to check with the service center. Eventually a few of us tried to get through passport control and check the service center out front. This worked much better. I was able to get a hotel and a standby ticket. That flight went much better but getting that far was a mess."

This was too short of a time between the two flights."

When I booked my flight I deliberately chose not to check any luggage, spent time planning what to take so that it would fit in a carryon bag, and measured out my liquids into small bottles so that they passed the liquids restrictions: all effort and time spent in vain due to Wizz Air. If you don't check in online 2 hours before your flight, you are hit with a 45 euro convenience fee to check in at the airport. I was traveling abroad in Portugal. The flight was taking us from the azores to the mainland. The kiosk for Ryanair conveniently opened less than 2 hours before the flight was scheduled to leave. This is when I found out you have to check in online, but the info was relayed too late for me to actually do so as they close the online check in 2 hours before the flight is scheduled to leave. I tried to reason with the representatives but their argument is that this info is in the terms and conditions (but literally nowhere else is that info relayed on the website). For such a hefty penalty I would think they could be more up front about that policy. Supposedly an email was sent to me as well a few days prior to the flight, but since I was traveling abroad I had limited access to email. It also costs 50 euro to check a bag vs about 20 euro for other domestic airlines. I was traveling with 5 companions and we all had to check a bag and pay the late check in fee. The cost per flight went from an attractive 82 euro to 177. So the airline banked about 597 euro from all 6 of us combined. If you fly Ryanair, fly light and check in early. For that price I could have taken another domestic flight and at least enjoyed a reclining seat and a bag of peanuts with a glass of water. They literally try to sell anything they can during the flight. Cologne, cigarettes, refreshments and jewelry/clothing and nothing is gratis. I'm surprised it didn't cost 50 euro cents to use the bathroom on the plane."

Neither company fixed the problem and I could not board the flight. I ended up having to rent a car and drive to Porto (6 hours away). Neither company have anyone that can assist with these issues on the weekend. The worst experience I could have had on my birthday vacation."

Мінуси: "At gate there was 40 minute delay to board with mention of what was going on. Once on board we waited another 40 minutes to be able to take off. In flight the crew was rude and inattentive."
Мінуси: "No staff in Treviso airport to help. There was 5 or 6 flights of people squashed into a small basement area which could barely hold 2 flights of people. It was unbearable crowded conditions with 2 airport staff who didn't reply when asked anything. When we found out flight was severely delayed there was no staff who would receive our claims for our rights under eu261 and got our food ouchers 1hour and 25 minutes late - impeding on our rights"

Мінуси: "The incident when boarding could have been handled far better than experienced A passenger already on the plane mistook light shining through the vapour created by the wing De icing process and claimed the wing was on fire which lead to the plane being evacuated First issue was that all disembarking the plane had nowhere to go and were not given any instructions Secondly the return to the waiting lounge was not organised well leaving passengers roaming about the lounge and unsure what to do"

Мінуси: "Being a tourist, I had no access to a printer to print a boarding pass. First off, who prints boarding passes anymore when you have smartphones?! RyanAir insists on paper! But they won’t print one for you. No they sent you to SwissAir for a printout for a cost of 15€. Then back to RyanAir so they can tag your bags. Do they take the bags? No! You have to go to 2 different areas to to drop off bags. Just ludicrous! Makes you appreciate American efficiency. Don’t fly RyanAir!!!"

Мінуси: "Cramped seats. Did not disclose that you would have to pay an extra fee for seats if you wanted to select them (so I could sit with my husband). First time flying Ryanair. Did not know we had to print out our boarding passes ahead of time (until they emailed us a reminder the day before) or pay $15 each for the print out at the counter. The place we were staying didn't have a printer, so I had to waste a good deal of my vacation time dealing with this and finding a way to get it printed. I chatted with someone at Ryanair and they said the thing about printing your boarding passes was in the fine print. Why? This shouldn't be a secret!"
