Мінуси: "Had a layover in Toronto. From Toronto we flew to Istanbul and then Venice. While waiting in line to board in Toronto, I was told my carry-on luggage was too big and needed to be put under. I asked MULTIPLE times where my luggage would be- either Istanbul or Venice (final destination) and EVERY time I asked, I was told my luggage would be waiting for me in Venice. Once we arrived in Istanbul I asked AGAIN if my carry-on luggage was here or if it would be in Venice and I was told it would be in Venice. Once we arrived in Venice, my luggage was nowhere to be found. The lost luggage crew (and 90% of the people in Venice) were completely rude and acted like we were a huge inconvenience for them. (I've heard that many Europeans cannot stand Americans, but we were not being rude or obnoxious at all to anyone- we just wanted a quiet, romantic vacation.) So safe to say that it was an extremely rough start. We were in Venice for the Glass Art Society Conference in Murano and due to my luggage being lost, had missed the first day and a half, therefore wasting hundreds of dollars. Luckily my boyfriend's phone worked in order to spend our first two days of vacation (not to mention the amount of money spent on international calling costs) tracking down my luggage, but again dealt with completely rude people who barely helped us with any answers and even hung up on us multiple times (and I'd like to add that despite my frustration, I made sure that I was not speaking rudely one bit). The best answers we received were from the people at the Istanbul airport who told us that Venice received my luggage hours before I even called Istanbul- which I do not understand why the Venice airport did not tell me this because I spent all day speaking with them. Once I called back the Venice airport to confirm what the Istanbul airport told us, they said (once again rudely) that they called me on my phone but did not answer (which I already told them that my phone did not have any service and to call my boyfriend's phone number). So to sum up: I will never be flying to Venice ever again."

Плюси: "The best airline to Europe! Period! Boing in the new 777 and has very comfortable seats with plenty of room for your feet even in economy class. Huge number of movies and TV shows. The food is excellent. Only missing part is to have some candies or chocolates for the 13 hour trip for San Francisco to Istanbul. You can not beat their price. Crew is very friendly and helpful at the same time. Slippers and socks they give you in economy class + cotton blanket of course make you feel you are 1st class traveler. What else? You name it and it is there. Will fly again with Turkish airlines."

Мінуси: "The middle seat that I got. The first 30min the plane was super hot plus it was very hot outside. When I boarded the plane, I asked if there were any exit row seats open. I was told no. I sat down 5 rows or so behind the exit. 15 min later the attendant started moving children from the exit rows to different seats. I raised my hand to be placed in the exit row but was ignored. The flight attendants were slow and rude. I asked for two white wines with my food, and was looked at with disgust. I was told that I can have one, and when I finished it, I could have the second one. I said ok. Well 30 MINUTES later I touch the attendant button and no one came. Finally after 5 min someone came to take my order. She quickly came back and said they were out of wine. This was a very disappointing flight."

Obviously I missed my connecting flight back to JFK. I was stranded in Istanbul overnight and forced to buy a temporary visa just to go to the hotel they offered for causing we to miss my connecting flight. What legitimate airline is so disorganized they can't figure out how take off on time, to de-board passengers, and park their planes at their main airport?"

Ten minutes later they said they would not let me board. I spent no less than 4 hours trying to get out of the airport-- waiting for visa and then through customs. Every Turkish airline desk took a long time and I was sent to at least 4 Turkish airlines desks. It is all a mess. So I am one day delayed in my arrival to my destination. This has been so frustrating!!!!!!!"

That made it spacious coupled with a relaxed pace of passengers and crew. The lunch served was quite tasty and satisfying. No hassles about carryons weight or size. Electronics aboard seemed to work fine for those interested."

It was like being in a refuge camp."

We were lucky that flight from Odessa arrived in time and we had one hour to do so."

Мінуси: "Flight was late departing Cairo Changing flights from Cairo to Amsterdam was scheduled at 50 minutes. I asked the male flight attendant about changing airplanes, said our new gate was right next to our arriving gate. He said no problem. He failed to mention we had to go through customs and security again, and walk almost a Kilometer in the process. Fortunately they held the Amsterdam plane because many passengers would have missed it. I did not appreciate the lack of information from the flight attendant, however holding the plane was a godsend."

Because of this, I missed my connecting flight in Zurich. Apparently hundreds of other passengers were in a similar situation, because I spent the next 6.5 hours standing in line to getting my new itinerary and hotel vouchers."

Плюси: "The cabin and gate crew provided a very friendly atmosphere. At the gate, the staff were very efficient in getting passengers on board despite the 20-30 minute delay. During the flight, attendants did a good job making sure meals were on time and drinks were offered often."

We arrived to the gate to start the boarding and they just told us wait here for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes we were asked to wait another 20 minutes. Only when we missed the take off time by 10 minutes they bothered to update us and inform us that the flight is being delayed in 2 hours."

The flight crew refused to intercept it and have it brought up to me at the aircraft. To make matters much, much worse, the flight crew eventually gave up and left, leaving me LOCKED inside the jetway for over 30 minutes after calling for a wheelchair. The replentishment crew refused to let me out of the locked jetway. Only after the wheelchair arrived was I let out of the locked jetway. I was taken to the Austrian Airlines service center where I lodged a formal complaint. Supervisor/Rene refused to upgrade my seat in any fashion to compensate for my distress. He did, however, arrange for me to given access to the VIP lounge and then taken to my VIE-SOF gate. Had I had a shorter layover, I would have missed my connecting flight."

When we debarked from the Austrian Airline onto the tarmac and picked up our luggage, I could find no signs indicating where to go for connecting flights, nor any signs indicating the gates of connecting flights. I was told that to make a connecting flight, I should go out to the main lobby of the airport, At the information desk they directed me to the Air Canada check in desk, where I found the check-in for my flight was closed. That was the the beginning of a nightmare chase to get to the plane to Toronto. I made it only because of the kindness of people in the check in, security and customs lines. Austrian Airlines should be kinder to its passengers making connecting flights. They seemed to abandon us passengers in a chaotic airport."

This made it impossible for me to enjoy mi flight. A 5'6' person should not have any issues but my knees were touching the seat in front of me. The seat was very narrow - it felt cramped and as if they turned a space designed for 2-4-2 into a 3-4-3. When I called the customer service before the flight to get a seat next to my husband who had a separate reservation, it took about 4 calls before anyone even mentioned that out reservations could be linked together. will not fly Austrian airlines again."

Perhaps you could Justify £10 but 50 euro!! Why do they try so hard to rip there customers off at every turn"

We were charged 68 euro each to print boarding pass. The airports credit card machine was down and we were forced to go to an ATM and pay in cash. The carry on size restrictions are ridiculous. Your bag will be marked as too large (at a 50 additional euro charge) if it sicks out by 1 inch thickness wise, even if it fits into the box provided. Horrible experience and I will never use this airline again."

Мінуси: "Everything felt rushed and cheap. The boarding was chaotic, we had to pay too much for checked baggage, the seats wouldn't recline, they charge for everything they can even try to sell stuff during the flight. This was my first and last time flying with Ryanair."

Мінуси: "No soap in bathroom and did not allow me to sit with my travellers. Seats were far apart and the entire plane was separated from their known people which led to chaos. The airline charges to select seats next to one another."

Мінуси: "Our Ryanair flight was delayed due to engine trouble. However no one ever made formal announcement or updates about the progress. Every 2 hrs we heard through word of mouth that the plane was still not ready. After waiting 8 hrs in the airport terminal, they finally brought a new plane for us. Many people missed connecting flights and the airlines was no help. It was an extremely frustrating situation. By far the worst flying experience I've had."

Мінуси: "CHAOTIC. Found the Ryanair booking site difficult to log into with my booking number constantly not being recognised. Once I'd booked it was pay, pay, pay for luggage and seats making the flight expensive. Biggest insult was they took my money for a transfer, return email saying it was accepted. A later email saying it was cancelled with no refund of money. A 12 month credit note ( not seen yet ) which I can't use in 12 months. Now feeling ripped off Will not be flying with Ryanair again."

Плюси: "NOTHING. I haven't had a worse airport/airline experience. I would NEVER fly this airline again. No matter the cost. HORRIBLE I felt taken advantage of and swindled. Not to mention incredibly uncomfortable."

Мінуси: "The customer service agent was horribly rude. When asked her name, because she wasn't wearing a name tag, she said "Oh, you'd like my name? I'll be sure to write it down for you." I never ended up getting her name, but the way she treated me and my fiancé - as two customers that were very much over paying - was inappropriate and unprofessional. Never again will I fly RyanAir."

Мінуси: "The flight was delayed 3 hours. We stood at the gate in line for half an hour before we were taken back i side the airport. There was no announcement that we are reboarding"

Мінуси: "Long wait standing outdoor for boarding in covered but open and windy stalls. Crammed to the brim in tight seats. Too many carry-ons for the space available. Rowdy passengers, traveling in groups and standing/partying in the aisle --crew not enforcing a minimum level of respect for others. Landing delayed for over one hour: weather forced to change airport --not their fault, but poor coordination with ground crew at destination and long wait for parking and stairs."

Мінуси: "My wife & I had our flight departure delayed by an hour due to overcrowding of planes & our arrival was delayed by 30 minutes for the same reason. Also, the seats were cramped & they didn't recline."

Плюси: "Cheap, quick, and safe flight."
Мінуси: "Because the tickets are so cheap, they try to get money out of you at every turn! They charged us $20 each to print our boarding passes at the airport (it wasn't enough to have them on our phones)! They make you pay to check a bag and you have to arrange it ahead of time (cannot ask to do it at the airport). They made a big fuss about the sizes of our bags and threatened to charge up to $55 per bag if they needed to check them at the gate! They have tiny compartments at the gate but our bags fit without any issues on the plane itself."

Мінуси: "It seemed like everything is extra $ with a sales pitch and an angle to coerce you into buying it. I booked through KAYAK and thought we had one checked bag each. But not so, had to pay for 2 checked bags. Also, seat choice is not family-friendly; default is "randomly assigned" seats. With US discount carriers, you at least have some chance of getting seats together as long as you check in early. So, I ended up paying a premium so we could sit together."

Плюси: "Definitely no frills but adequate in every sense. I particularly like the fact that you cannot recline your seats. The airline clearly works at getting you there on time. There is food available and drinks at a reasonable cost."

Мінуси: "You must stand in line for a very long time to check your bags and then again (even with priority boarding) on a very hot staircase before you can board the plane. I was very concerned for the health and safety of some older passengers who might have passed out while standing midway down a marble staircase."

Плюси: "The flight was cancelled by Ryanair without giving us the reasons or explanation."

Плюси: "The worst company ever. The way they operate is horrible, they want to charge the passangers even when you follow their carry on rules. The fly attendants were very very rood. one of them changed my seat and when I asked for explonation he yelled at me and said you are going to sit where I want. His other colleague hit me on my elbow, in less than 5 min I was bruised. I showed to her and she said I am doing my job. Horrible experience. Never ever again....."
